I enjoyed my experience here very much. Everyone was kind. My masseuse was very skilled and pleasant. She told me that I have a lot of serious knots and problems which has always been true for me, unfortunately. I carry stress in my back and the soles of my feet. Sometimes the knots are so bad, it hurts to walk. The masseuse kindly said I needed more serious work and asked permission to help me relieve the pressure points. She explained it would be deeper and more intense in some places. Whatever she did, my back, feet and shoulders were knot-​free and felt normal for about two weeks after! It was a blessing. I’ll definitely go back. I tipped her well and the guy at the front desk seemed surprised. Lol He asked twice to be sure he wasn’t charging my card more than I wanted. The only reason I didn’t give four stars is because at times my relaxing was interrupted by loud talking from the front desk when guests arrived. I don’t understand why Angelenos don’t know that indoor voices are appropriate for spas. It’s not a night club! All NYC spas are very quiet and peaceful because employees explain that talking at full volume is not appropriate. If Meridian was quieter, I’d probably move in there. :)

This review is solely based on customer service as I was unfortunately unable to get a massage. I booked two 90 — minute massages to celebrate my birthday with my girlfriend. When we showed up the front desk representative told me that he remembered when I booked yesterday and that unfortunately someone didn’t show up to work that day, so they were unable to accommodate both of us. He offered to rebook us for later in the day, but I reminded him that as we discussed when I booked that we were only available in the morning. I also asked why we hadn’t received a phone call before we arrived, and he said he «had just learned about it», which considering we were a few minutes late makes that statement appear to be a bold faced lie.
Based on the reviews I was VERY excited to try this place as a part of my birthday celebration. Unfortunately I won’t be returning to try it out.

This place is great! Wallace was awesome, one of the best massages I’ve ever had. Totally recommend!

What a lovely spa! Small, but welcoming. Lovely people, who were all great at their jobs. A very relaxing environment and comfortable setting. I bought a groupon, which sometimes means trouble getting an appt., but not here. They were happy to set me up, I got great service, and I’m looking forward to my next visit.

This place is AWESOME! It may not look like much from the outside but it’s a diamond in the ruff. I get massage at least twice a month, its a hidden gem off of Santa Monica blvd. It’s a small spa with a warm welcoming spirit,
The front desk person was warm and friendly, and my therapist Daniel Donohoo was amazing, his technique and attention to the body was outstanding, I told him where I was hurting, and he worked out every knot that I had, to a point that I had to take a walk after the massage to clear my head from all the toxin he release in my body, he knew the right pressure to use, and always check to make sure If I was doing ok, a true professional.
He is tied for 1^st place in my top 10 therapist. do yourself a favor and book an appointment with Daniel. you won’t regret it.

David gave me one of the best massages I’ve had in my life. He is thorough, intuitive, strong and effective. I have been working with the same team for massage and body work for quite some time so I’m usually very hesitant to step out my box and try someone new. I’m so glad I did. I highly, highly recommend visiting David and this great place in general. You’ll be so happy you did! I sprained my ankle and hurt my leg, he was able to get things more mobile again and get me deeply relaxed in the process. THANK YOU DAVID!!!

It was okay. I got a 90 minute massage and it seemed during the last half hour he was bored or something. At one point he was playing with my hair taking the knots out of it.

Honestly, my favorite place for a massage.
Great place for relaxation and such a great value for the thigh quality they provide. I always feel welcome and because it’s not some big corporation it feels like a community.
This one is an easy 5-​out-​5 stars.

Today was the 44^th birthday and my amazing hubby booked me a message at Meridian Day Spa and it’s the 1^st professional message I have ever had. Now make sure u get there with some time u can park on the street or there’s a lot next to the Spa. Right off the man behind the desk was so nice and friendly and the whole feel is relaxing and calming. Now I had Donald be my massage therapist, he was sooo fantastic he made the whole experience sooo wonderful, he asked me were I hurt what I liked. he gave me a scrub 1^st than after showering I felt amazing. After that he started working on my back and stuff, I felt amazing when he was done and it was sooo freeing to not be connected to my phone for over 2 hours I really hope if your looking for a fantastic Massage Therapist Please contact Donald you will not be disappointed at all

I recently got a massage with David at Meridian Day Spa. The spa is conveniently located and clean. David did a wonderful job and I felt amazing after the massage. He is obviously very caring professional. I would recommend him and I’ll go back.

First of, let me mention that I’m no stranger to massage whether in London, Dubai, Qatar or US, but my experiences have been hit & miss, mostly miss and probably because it’s an intimacy level & few therapists have succeeded to make me feel comfortable enough to enjoy their sessions. It’s an energy dynamic and very few therapists know to translate that into their healing.
That all changed when I discovered Shane Spears in Meridian Day Spa via word of mouth. I was still reluctant due to my past mediocre experiences but I decided to give it a go as I really needed some massage at the time & the word of mouth was encouraging. I came in there back in September for a one hour massage, right away I felt welcomed & at ease. It was still awkward for me at first as I was still nervous, but Shane was extremely attentive and displayed accurate intuition in regards to my pain and his pressure on point all the time. This is an example of how therapists can transfer their energy to heal people as opposed to jam their fingers on their bodies, Shane showed great level of understanding & sympathy to my pain and he would draw from his energy to minimize my pain. Which he did. I was so pleased the first time, I had to come again this past January and it surpassed my first visit. It was an hour massage & it helped me get rid off emotional toxic that I had locked inside me. I’m definitely going to get back for my treatment in the future. Thank you Shane Spears & the Meridian Day spa for making me feel welcome & providing such a healing experience for me.

Meridian Day Spa offers a very peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The people were very friendly and accommodating. The Massage Therapist, Tracy, was very engaging and made me feel very comfortable. Also, the pricing is reasonable and definitely worth it for the quality of service. I highly recommend this place!

The best massage I have had so far. Tracy was attentive during the whole session. She’s a healer! I came to her with neck/​shoulder/​lower back pain. I left relaxed and got my movement back!

Meridian Spa helped soothe my aching shoulder pain away. Tracy was my masseuse and she was awesome. Paid attention to the problem areas and constantly asked if the pressure was too much. The spa was nice and relaxing, nicely decorated with soothing tunes. I liked how they gave you a hot towel to wipe off the excess oils at the end of the massage. The space is small but they make do with what they have. Will come back to check out their facials!

From booking the appointment with the friendly representative on the phone until I walked out of the spa, my experience was incredible. I highly recommend Tracy. She’s got the hands of God and a talent for relieving majority of my chronic muscle pain. I’m so glad I came here and I can’t wait to be back. I’d like to throw in a good word for Washington as well. He was my boyfriend’s massage therapist and Did an incredible job. Thank u!

Not much to elaborate on. My massage was phenomenal.
Clean, simple facilities. Relaxing environment. And again, the massage was perfection.

I went here recently while visiting family out in West Hollywood.
I really love this place. The staff is friendly, professional, warm and attentive.
The atmosphere is top notch and the facility is very clean.
I wish I lived closer, I would love to go back regularly.
I recommend this place to anyone looking for a great massage.
Prices are reasonable and worth every penny.

I decided to try out Meridian Day Spa after searching Groupon for a massage in my neighborhood. I was pleasantly surprised with how great this place is! The staff is super nice and very accommodating — I came in for a 1 hour Swedish Massage with Shane. Shane was excellent! Made sure that I was happy and comfortable — I also loved the coconut oil that was used.
Came out very relaxed and at ease which was just what I was looking for :)
