I thought this place was so small when I was waiting in line outside, but it was actually pretty big when I got in. The have 2 different dance floors… one of the dance area was playing hip-hop music(I mostly stayed there), another was playing trance and it had a LOT of strobe lights. The only thing different about this club is really the glass rooms with half naked girls and guys posing around lol. Most people were taking pictures with them… I think I have a picture too but I don’t know where it went… Guys are as usual trying to talk to the ladies. I had about 4 guys come up to me and when I turned them down, they were nice enough to just leave me alone with my friends. That’s cool and I appreciate that. I hate it when guys are so freakin’ determined even after I already said no. My name is no, my sign is no, my number is no, you need to let it go… nah to the ah to the no no no…

Wow! I found my favorite club in West Hollywood! I used to go to the Abbey all the time and end up staying there all night without checking out any other clubs. Came in on a Saturday night, there was a left side and a right side. The right side is a majority of gay boys and the left side is a ton of lesbians. Cover charge for that Saturday night was $ 10 and they only took cash. When we first walked in, it was a beautiful room with a plant like touch. Continuing on further back, it was a bigger dance floor and bar. They played really good hip-hop for the night. My favorite music is hip-hop and they did a really good job here playing all the good hits. The reason for four stars instead of five is due to the fact that I saw about three fights in that night. I like my nights to be drama free and the security guards couldn’t even pull the females apart. Other than that it was such an amazing time. We got there at around 10 and didn’t leave until about 3AM. Yes they stay open till three :-) if you like hip-hop come here on a Saturday night.

By far the worst club I have ever been to. If I could, I would give 0 stars. We purchased our tickets online got there an hour early and ended up sitting outside until almost 2am. We ended up leaving and not getting in. The bouncers were RUDE and wouldn’t give us any information and had us standing outside in the freezing cold for over 2 hours, despite people leaving. I will never recommend them to anyone. Avoid!

Worst nightclub event we’ve been too! Only came here because my other friends made plans here for NYE! Thought it was gonna be poppin but nope! The line was RIDICULOUSLYLONGONNYEAND we got presales! Everyone in line complained how presales was a bunch of bs because we still waited with the ones without tickets. Majority missed the countdown because the bouncers didn’t let people in since it reached max capacity which is seriously lame! Never coming here or recommending it! Parking was a hassle since it was NYE and the dj there was terrible because he repeated songs three times! It was like on a constant loop and the crowd wasn’t great either. Barely any room to dance and the crowd there was definitely not our type. Supposedly there’s two dance floors but honestly there was only one! The dance floor/stage was awful. THISPLACERUINEDOURNYE! Never again!

So I have mixed feelings about this place. First off, the address is 562, not 561. When I über’ed here, I couldn’t even find the place since I kept looking for 561. Also, it looked really small from the outside so I was already disappointed by that. However, once you get inside, the place is actually pretty big! They have a small area right in the front but then when you walk in to the back, it’s a huge open area with tables along the wall and also a section of tables right in front of the stage. The bar is in the back and well drinks were about $ 11 a glass. This place was dead at first(I got there around 1030pm since I was on guest list). It finally started filling up around 1130⁄12. Thank goodness! The dj was playing edm music at first so there weren’t a lot of people dancing but then they switched to hip hop and the floor became popping. Overall, this place was kind of boring but my friends and I made the most out of it so it actually became fun. A little out of the way for me since I live in dt so I’m not sure if I would want to trek out here again.

We was here for bachelorette party couple week ago. We had so much fun. Love that they have edm room and also hiphop room. We book a bogo table $ 550 for 2 bottle. And a lady table w smal volka and champange for $ 50. Love their newly remodel edm room.

Not a very nice club to begin with. Be aware of the gratuity charges. They tend to charge more than what you write down. This happened twice already. They charged me 20 two days after charging 65.

I’m not sure if things have changed recently, but there isn’t a second room like a lot of other reviewers are saying. I came here with my brother and girlfriend, who were excited about this place because there supposedly was a room that played hip hop and another room that played edm. Nope. We weren’t the only ones questioning the same thing because we asked a few wandering people at the club, and they also said they were looking for the second room. The lines outside were really disorganized. One for the regular guest list and another for the vip table service list… which kept getting mixed up back and forth and people had to keep switching sides. I got there shortly after 10, and I still had to wait an hour to get in. I really don’t understand places that charge $ 20 for cover! Unless there’s something super special going on inside, too ridiculous to charge that much! And this place was rather small! Only«cool and different» factor was that they had a display of bed /bathtub section where girls in lingerie would be moving around doing their thing looking«sexy.» One of the girls happened to be a girl my bro/gf went to high school with! So that was entertaining to us. Besides that, it’s just another club that I’ll probably not come back

This is the worst club experience I’ve ever had. If negative stars were an option, this club would deserve them. I actually created this account to write this review and warn people to stay away from this shady place My friend and I bought the VIP(NOLINE) tickets. Arrived around 10:30 only to be ushered over to a line that was over 2 blocks long. When I told them I had no line tickets, they just told me I had to wait in line anyway. Rang in the new year on the pavement an hour an half later… still in line in the freezing cold. At this point there were still a solid 40 people in front of me. Apparently they had completely oversold the event and were refusing to let anyone else in. I was expecting to have to wait maybe 10 – 15 minutes due to NYE crowds, but at 1:45 I just left. Never made it inside for the«party favors» which according to a review below were nonexistent(same with the advertised champagne toast). All in all, this cub is a total disaster. I’m not at all surprised they are struggling, and going out of business. Regardless, this does not give them the right to scam hundreds of people trying to celebrate the new year. Don’t waste your time or money. AVOIDATALLCOSTS!

I was surprised that I would like a club in LA; I’m too spoiled with Vegas clubs and would rather make the 3 hour drive than to club in LA. I really enjoyed that they played a lot of hip hop and old school, which made it so easy to dance and sing along to. The venue definitely has a Vegas feel to it and the décor is quite spectacular with girls behind glass and beds along the wall. There was also no lines for the restroom which is always important. Girls are free before 10:30pm on guestlist and then $ 20 for everyone after.

Shady as fuck management. Oversold on nye and just listen to me, if u asian and u gravitate towards asian night at metro, do not come here on nye. Paid 60 bucks for VIP which didn’t matter because it was all the same line, and waited in line for over an hour. We counted down in line. Also a fight broke out in front. Ghettooo. And music sucked. Just telling it like it is. I had a good time but only cause I was with my boy aleck. Someone pm me the new club to go to please, this club is d e a d.

Super confusing layout. Is it «Penthouse» or is it «Metropolitan»? If you go to their website to RVSP for the list, the website says” Metropolitan” and it’s called«Metro Saturday» but they show«Penthouse» in the website. When you show up, there are two sides, one on Robertson(for The Metropolitan, in one on the other side for«Penthouse») but apparently they usually join in the middle of the club, unless there’s a private event. Get all that? My God, wtf. Just make it ONE entrance, ONE club. Anyway, so I RVSP’ed for our group on the website, talked to the bouncer to try and figure it out. He said I was at the right entrance — Penthouse, but I thought it was the Metropolitan, he said it was the same. Whatever. Anyway, so the four girls in our group were free, my friend and I were $ 15, 10p-11p… then after that, everyone has to pay. But, there was no line when we were there. We got there right at 10p, as they opened… made us wait 10 – 15 minutes anyway and, yup, we were the ONLY ones there, haha. It’s a nice layout though, Vegas feel. After about 11:30, it got pretty filled in and, shockingly, my God… it was 70/30, girls to guys. Yeah! And, a LOT of hot women. We couldn’t believe it. Also, the confusing part is this neighborhood and nobody on Unilocal has mentioned it or they’ve ducked it — is this a «gay» club or not. It’s the elephant in the room. We didn’t know, we heard it was half and half, I didn’t care, whatever. If you’re worried about that stuff, it’s not a «gay club» at all… maybe one or two couples? That’s it. My guy friend was a bit homophobic so he was so paranoid… so, later, we made him go to the Abbey, to make him really uncomfortable, haha ;)

Gotta go up the stairs to get to the rooms/bar/dancing. They have a small main room, then a EDM room and a hip-hop room. I wasn’t a big fan of the EDM music being played, but the hip-hop room was cool. Not cool was how CROWDED it was! It was Asian night and boy were we all packed in! It was so hard to walk around if you wanted to get to the bathroom or move rooms. Also, they charge you for water — lame!

PARKING is always a hassle here, so be expected to walk 10 – 15 minutes in the cold if you don’t want to pay for pricey valet. With that being said, the club itself is a step-up from Lure. Highly concentrated Asian demographic, very similar to the Lure crowd. I do like the fact that they have multiple dance floors with various styles of music — hip hop in the back, «traditional» EDM towards the front. The décor is striking, and there are various glass enclosures with lingerie models posing with snakes or in a bathtub by themselves. Whoever dreamt up that idea definitely thought outside the box! Unlike Lure, they don’t have an outdoor clubbing space. They do however have the«standard» smoking patio for those who need a quick break.

August 9, 2014 ASIANNIGHT Ok, let’s be brutally honest, feel like I’m super spoiled by the Vegas clubs because I find clubbing no fun and the music to be meh. It’s getting harder and harder to enjoy clubbing when you don’t want to drink or sober. As one ages, one becomes more aware of her surrounding. Dressed up as a boss-bitch isn’t easy, bit deters creepers and weirdos. Music, meh. EDM music… boo! Again, I’m spoiled with seeing live DJs like Kaskade, Deadmau5, Tiesto… Anyway the DJs are NOT good at all. I feel like I have to drink until I can’t hear the music and just the beats. Sorry Metropolitan, 2 stars. One for the valet parking to be $ 12 and the pretty seats for the tables that we got. And yes… I’m wiring this review AT the CLUB. This is how lame this place is. Sorry again.

The valet is $ 12 dollars. The outside looks a little run down, so as when you walk in. But as soon as you walk up the carpet stairs, the venue is very nice. They have girls inside a closed room, kind of like reenacting. I don’t know how to describe it. I haven’t tried out their bottle service yet, but you can contact JETSET for good times on Saturday nights. I absolutely had a blast when I first went on a Saturday night with a friend. Coming from Orange County, I hear EDM way too much, so I decided to hang out in the Hip-Hop room and the music was great. It is smaller than the EDM dance floor, but if you have a table, you are all good. For those who smoke, it is outside on the first floor, you have to go back downstairs.

We came here one Saturday night for a friend’s birthday, boy was it crowded. Metro is located in West Hollywood on a small street where there are neighboring bars, eateries, and boutiques. The bars and eateries near by were also really crowded. It seems to be the place to be at on weekends! Parking around the area is horrendous! You probability will not be able to find a parking spot here on any given Friday or Saturday. So you’re better off carpooling with your friends or just valet park it for about $ 20.00. Metropolitan has not been around that long from the last time I was at the same spot a few years back for a Halloween party. I think this place was called the Factory before. Anyhow, Metro was so crowded with youngsters that I felt ancient going there. Yes, only because of the birthday thing made me go… haha. The lines were long, and the wait probably feels like an eternity. You might as well just party and get it over with outside instead of waiting to go inside. We chose bottle service… so the wait was minimal. We got in together and sat on a small table with a small couch on the side. I hated our small table, but it sure beats standing around being a wall flower. Each bottle was about $ 350.00 plus tip, So we ordered two bottles with chasers(Ciroq Vodka, Don Julio Tequila with pineapple and cranberry juice) so everybody will have enough to drink. I thought it was outrageously expensive for each bottle, but again… it beats standing around and this lessons the chances of us getting lost with the crowds inside. They have two sides of the club. The front side was EDM and the back side was hip-hop. For some reason the hip-hop section was hot and humid while our EDM side was nice and cool. Hrmmm… luckily our table was at the EDM side. They had a no name DJ spinning mixes on stage for both sides, but I must say the EDM side was more energetic. The club had nice décor around the ceilings and laser lights blinking in coordination of the music played. I thought that was cool… since these light shows nowadays are pretty much a mandatory thing to do to make a club succeed. Cheers! And would I come back? Hrmmm… probably not, unless it was somebody’s birthday celebration. I need a place that is more mature people that is energized with great music with a famous DJ. Does anybody know of one?

I am impressed. So my buddy Thomas been tryna get me to go to this new club hes been trying to promote. This place just recently opened up in West Hollywood and is supposedly the new popping place on a Saturday night after Icon LA was closed. They offered promo tables and champagnes for groups of 6 girls which is pretty nice if you were a girl. Also have birthday specials and 2 bottle specials if you ‘s a baller. Basic layout, 3 rooms: Main, EDM, and hip hop room. They all consist of a bar, totaling 3 bars in the whole club. The first room you walk in is basically the main room where people usually just loiter and socialize. The second room is the EDM room with a huge dance floor for people to rage. The final room is the hip hop room. Pretty up to date Hip Hop songs here. I prefer the hip hop room. Ya know, staying 1000, cuz I’mma stay a G. Hahaha Both rooms offer bottle service. My friend Thomas is always working the table/bottle specials and guest list every Saturday. And usually tries to hook me up BIGTIME. You can hit em up at em Mr.626 sent ya and maybe he’ll hook you up! JK, he always hooks it up. Guest list is usually 15 for guys and free for girls. God, it must be nice to be a girl. Tips: I would usually recommend to come early around 9:30PM to avoid the lines(unless you’re a baller with the bottle service). There is usually parking around the club. Overall, good place to go on a Saturday night, especially to celebrate a birthday. Just check it out and judge it for yourself.

I came here on a Saturday night around 11:30pm. Pretty late, so we got in line and paid $ 20 cover charge. Layout — I think there are 3 big rooms here. When you first enter & go up the stairs, the first room has a bar with a few couches. The next two rooms are dance rooms with different DJs. Throughout the club, there are little glass rooms with half naked people posing or dancing in them. When I went, the middle(larger) room was the hip hop room. Bathroom line was pretty quick. Crowd — It was literally 99% Asian. I felt like I was somewhere in Asia haha. The people here seem a bit friendlier than a few other places I’ve been. Guys will be creepy-ish no matter where you go since they probably go clubbing to creep on girls. Girl/guy ratio seemed like 60% guys and 40% girls. Drinks — I can’t remember exactly but shots were maybe ~$ 8 each and a redbull vodka was ~$ 13. Music — The day that I came, the two dance rooms were playing different music. One played EDM& the other played hip hop. I was a pretty big fan of this because most places don’t play any hip hop at all or put the hip hop in a tiny ass room. I spent my whole night in the hip hop room :).

Ever since Icon closed, this is the new to go place on Saturdays, if you ever want a night out. Every Saturday here is Asian night. I’ve came here every week so far since it opened 5 weeks ago. The grand opening night was packed, but they’ve learn to change things up if things don’t work out right. Since then, they have opened up a back hip hop room, so now there are 3 rooms total. Each room has its own bar. The middle room is the EDM room, and the back room is the Hip Hop room. The one in the front is just a chill room with a bar, and two see-through glass rooms with half naked people inside, which is pretty interesting to watch if that’s your thing. This club is huge, compared to other Asian ones I’ve been to. $ 15 for guys on the guest list before 10:30, free for girls. After 10:30pm, it is $ 20 General Admission for both guys and girls, so I suggest arrive early! They have VIP tables that go for two bottles for $ 600(Ciroc Vodka, Don Julio Tequila, or Martell VSOP), and you get 10 free comps! I highly suggest getting the Martell! They also have ladies promo tables, which gets a minimum of 6 ladies in for free, with a free bottle of vodka and house champagne. You just need to pay $ 50 tip total. They are limited in these, usually between 3 – 4 a night, so I suggest if you did book one, get there early with your girls! If you happen to arrive and don’t get a ladies promo table, you can still get a wristband for some free champagne until 11pm. Parking next to the club will be pricey because it is valet. There’s a parking lot down the street for $ 12 bucks, but even cheaper ones if you want to go a few more blocks down. Drinks are averaged price for clubs. Usually between $ 14-$ 16. Tip your bartender! Honestly, every time I went so far, I’ve had a good time, especially after they opened the back hip hop room. If you need bottles, guest list, or tables on Saturdays, go ahead and email !
