Great staff. Super friendly. A little pricey but well worth it. The specials and daily soups are insane. I’ve been eating here almost daily for a couple years and keep coming back. If you’re lucky enough to be here on a Friday order the shrimp chipotle burrito. I always sub chicken. It’s definitely top 5 burritos in la…

I’ve been eating at this place since August or September of 2015(this is being written in January 2016), and I’ve ordered just about everything off of the menu. It’s always great! The staff is also very kind, and helpful wherever they can be! They give recommendations based off of previous conversations they’ve had with you, and are always willing to talk to you so long as they aren’t busy. Normandie Café has become a part of my routine, and I’m happy about that fact. Have a good time at Normandie!

I’ve eaten here for years and their food is very tasty. I usually order from one of the daily specials which come with a side. Great portion sizes, a lot of varieties to choose from, and their house salad dressing is pretty legit. It’s great place to eat when you don’t want to spend all that $$$ across the street at Boa. Service is a little slow during the lunch rush, which should be expected. I highly recommend the smoothies! Mango banana with a scoop of protein! Yummmm

The food here is actually pretty tasty. You really can’t lose with their daily specials. My go to in the mornings is usually a breakfast burrito accompanied by a side of salsa. Always hits the spot. Only flaw is the wait for your food to be prepared can be a little long sometimes. Staff is friendly and owners are helpful.

Definitely on the pricey end, and it takes quite a bit of time for the food to be ready, but the food was delicious. The shrimp burrito was very good.

Only one in line to place an order, took about 15+ minutes for my burrito to come out. I understand they may be completing orders from other tenants in building, but this isn’t drive through, as the customers who come in and wait should get priority. Next time I’ll just head down the street to the taco trucks for some better quality food and a faster waiting time.

Worse service ever! I work in the building and they known me. I stopped ordering because their Asian lady who takes the orders takes the wrong order and they make mistakes on the orders often. Moreover, they don’t apologize and give you attitude. Many of the different businesses in my building complain of the same. They always take a long time to have orders ready even if I call 20min ahead of time for sunny side up eggs. Food is ok

As service is what matters most for me, I would say that the employees at Normandie café are extremely nice, going out of their way to please the customers. They are very friendly, always smiling, but I often feel sorry for them as they are literally running all day long to handle so many orders, answer the crazy phone which is ringing all the time and making the standing hungry and short-of-time customers happy. This is one of the hardest jobs which often goes unnoticed by others that’s why I wanted to take a moment to write this review and to thank particularly those employees! It’s worth noting as well that the food I’ve had here especially my favourite grilled salmon is always delicious and the ice blended drinks mocca and caramel are just my addiction. Even starbucks doesn’t serve this good coffee as those people at Normandie make it!

My dermatologist is in the building, so I stopped off here to grab a sandwich on my way back to work after my appointment. The sandwich and cookie I took back with me were both very good. However it took them a long time to put them all together. The kitchen seemed a little confused to me. And some people who ordered their food after me, got it before me. I think it was also busy and they seemed to have many large«To Go» orders that were being picked up to take up to the offices in the building. My parking fee was ridiculously large, so I would only stop back at Normandie Café if I was in the building to see my dermatologist again.

The coffee has tasted burnt every time I’ve been here. I used to get an iced latte after my PT appointments twice a week, but I can’t drink the coffee here anymore. I do love that they offer almond milk in addition to soy milk. Unorganized, long wait, and they their straws don’t fit into their cups.

Love love love the vegetable sandwich with avocado. I used to get delivery from here when I lived close. Really good coconut pineapple smoothie as well.

We had 2 lattes and a mocha and they were fantastic! It was a super-busy place but seemed to have a very organized flow. I agree about all the phone orders though, they should have a secretary or some other way to take all those calls and still have time for the people waiting in person. Will definitely go back though, those drinks were really good quality.

Yum! I had lunch brought over from Normandie Café today while I was having a treatment next door at Motykie Med Spa. It worked out great. I ordered, from the treatment table no less, a Vegetarian Sandwich on Sourdough, a decaf caramel latte and a cookie. It was really good. The Vegetarian Sandwich had the usual lettuce, tomato, cheese… but what was cool was they diced up cucumber, avocado, carrots — loved that! The bread was really good too. The only thing I would change is add mayo. The Italian dressing was good, but it needed mayo. I thought the prices were good. Definitely be back.

Not so great, the staff is pretty awful to deal with, takes forever for food to come out and I got a pubic hair in my tortilla soup today. Awesome. Steer clear of this place!!!

Gone WAY downhill. Sunset Medical patrons are at the mercy of this place… if you want something to eat or drink early in the morning. I was here a year ago when my husband had another medical procedure… and I remember it being better. The service here is beyond terrible and the pastries look fresh, but are indeed stale at 9:30am. Everyone here is very polite, but that does not make up for the atrocious service. Their method of getting you what you ordered is… if you stand there long enough, they will ask you«what are you waiting for». And only then will you get what you paid for.

Let’s see … coffee that tastes burnt, service that is not all that welcoming or friendly and oh, yeah. They have wifi that you can see on your phone, but they’re the non-sharing types.(Won’t give out the code. You’re a coffee shop!) So why do I come here? Well, when I’m at my dentist’s office, they’re convenient. But rereading all that I just wrote, I’m deciding that it isn’t worth it. Do yourself a favor and get your lunch or coffee at your next stop!

NEIGHBOR-FRIENDLY This is a place that bustles with regular customers who work in the building and around the area. Parking probably isn’t easy, so this is a café for when you’re looking for something within walking distance. DIVERSEMENU A French café with breakfast and lunch menus available all day and an assorted Daily Specials varying from Chicken Tostadas to Shrimp Primavera to Classic Lasagna to Sashimi Bowls. Consider the following recommendations: — Tuna Melt: of you like a classic, you’ll like this. —(Veggie) Breakfast Burrito: a cylindrical bundle of joy if you ask me! Fit for a hearty breakfast or lunch and best eaten with salsa or siracha sauce. — Veggie Sandwich: toasted bread, tofu steaks, shredded carrots, lettuce, sprouts, and cucumbers serve as meatless proof that a sandwich can be built to last you throughout the day. — Fruit Salad with Vanilla Pudding: always fresh-cut fruit coupled with simple granola and house-made vanilla pudding(a secret recipe). (part of the Specials Menu) — Sashimi /Sushi platter: rainbow-variety of fresh and generous pieces of nigiri and decent CA roll with baked lobster nested on top – instantly tasty. A hurried staff, but lunch hour is always busy, so unless you’re in no rush, save time and call ahead to order.

First thing’s first. Don’t make it a point to come here if you don’t have an appointment in the 9201 building on Sunset. The trouble of parking alone will drive you mad. But, if you happen to have a meeting or appointment in said building, then do pop in for a jolt of caffeine, a mighty fine morsel, and a quick check of the old email. It will make your trip to said building feel more productive.
