PUMP is one of my favorite Weho bars. The staff is easy on the eyes, the drinks are super strong so you get your money’s worth, and the have a GREAT happy hour menu. I am obsessed with the rock shrimp I can eat it all day. My go to drink is the Pumptini — sweet, strong, and pink, because girls love pink. I did a few large parties there and they were able to accommodate us every time no matter the head count — they have mixed pitchers that you can get so you can mix and match drinks for everyone to try. You can sometimes catch Lisa and her hubby there from RHOBH. She’ll get behind the bar and pour vodka(that was Weho Pride) in peoples glasses. Overall positive experience every time and love this spot. Enjoy!

Like most others, I am familiar with RHOBH and Vanderpump Rules. It’s one of those train wreck programs you enjoy watching to see just how uncouth the«couth» can be. First the good news: if you’re looking for a lovely, romantic outdoor spot to enjoy a brunch, lazy afternoon or happy hour… this is the place. There’s no questioning the taste, design aspects or attention to detail the Vanderpumps have put into this restaurant: imported, mature olive trees, lovely LED lighting within those trees and. beautiful design of the island bar. It’s really something to behold and as the off-spring of two interior designers I commend them on their design sense. The waitstaff are adequately trained and attentive without being invasive. Our water glasses were topped off frequently by the busboy as well. When asked for, toasted bread and butter were brought to the table(although I don’t think we should have had to request it). The cocktails are well prepared. especially my raspberry mojito. They do offer a happy hour from 5:00 to 7:00 Monday through Thursday BUT it is only available at the bar and a few adjoining tables… not at the rest of the outdoor dining tables… strange. From there on most everything, including the table appointments and food, were extremely disappointing. I have to confess I worked as a design/builder/distributor within the restaurant industry for 32 years so, perhaps, I pay more attention to certain aspects of the dining experience than others. First, the table appointments: cheap glassware including wine glasses not befitting a bottle of wine costing in excess of $ 50.00. The flatware was cheap, retail Gibson. the kind that you can bend Uri Geller style. The chinaware was old, gray-marked Chinese cheap crap. I realize that 70% of all restaurants in Los Angeles use this shit but, really? You pay so much attention to every design detail but the one center point in your restaurant that patrons focus on, the table, you completely ignore? Which brings me to the food. What self respecting«chef» would want to plate their food on such crappy, old and tired chinaware? Apparently this one does and his/her food matches the quality of the dinnerware quite appropriately. We started off with the beef carpaccio which arrived on a chilled plate covered with arugula and shaved Parmesan. All good except the arugula was wilted and shriveled up from being refrigerated so long which led us to believe the preparation had been done quite some time ago and stuck in the refrigerator. I queried the busboy and he said he would take it back to the chef and inquire. The same plate(I know because we had ground some cracked pepper on the first dish) reappeared with revived arugula and the busboy quipped: «No, the chef says each dish is made fresh and they plate each order on refrigerated dishes». Right. Our entrees were the salmon(overcooked but with a nice, tasty crust), Pacific cod(virtually dried out and inedible and the rigatoni pasta with spicy sausage(meh). The food here is not why you come to visit this locale. And neither is it for people watching. Between the over-weight, badly dressed tourists and the predominantly gay under dressed(folks, we’re talking tank tops, shorts and flip flops) locals, this is hardly the mecca of «beautiful people». I get that the Vanderpumps are big advocates of the gay community but wouldn’t you think they would at least impose a minimal dress code at such a lovely venue? Apparently not. I guess it all makes sense because they obviously are not very serious restaurateurs: more like self-promoting media whores. Sorry, I just have to call ‘em like I see ‘em.

I came for the LVP Sangria and left without having tried it. I asked for red, they didn’t have any, I asked for pink, they didn’t have any. Our server Richardson said, they didn’t have any sangria at all. Pretty disappointing that the owners have their own sangria brand and can’t even keep their shelves stocked with it for customers. Restaurants was nice, staff was meh, our server was very polite, food with too salty and drinks were way too expensive. Overall experience was okay, seeing as how I was with my favorite people, but I don’t think I’ll be back. On the way out, we saw Lisa, Ken and Giggy. Ken seemed like a total jerk. They didn’t acknowledge anyone. Super disappointing.

Being an extreme super fan of RHOBH and Vanderpump Rules, I could not wait to step foot into PUMP. I came here with a group of 5 other people and had the best time ever. The décor is exquisite and the staff was absolutely out of this world. We were seated in one of the cabana tables and ordered our cocktails. It was pretty hot outside so our waiter promptly set up a fan by our table. I ordered the pumptini which is by far the best drink I’ve ever had. We all ordered the ahi tuna app which was so fresh tasting. About 30 minutes into our dinner I look over directly to my left and there I saw Ken, Lisa, Giggy, and others from Real Housewives. Being from Sacramento, I never see celebrities so I was on cloud 9! I didn’t approach them because I wanted to respect their privacy. For dinner I ordered the truffle chicken which was Devine. The manager stopped by our table and asked how our service was, which I really appreciated. While we were leaving Ken grabbed my boyfriends hand and asked how our dinner was. I was blown away that the owners genuinely cared about our dining experience. And let me tell Lisa is more gorgeous in person than on tv. I smiled at her because I was too nervous to say anything, than left. Overall thank you Pump for making my first experience one I will never forget. I can’t even begin to say how amazing the food and service was. I can’t wait to come back next time I’m in West Hollywood!!!

My girl friends took me here for my birthday last weekend. It was fantastic. The drinks are good, the service is impeccable and it’s beautiful inside. My only complaint are the chairs near the bar… not comfy at all.

Bartenders are sketchy as f@*k! They write in additional tips for themselves on the merchant copy. I always keep my customer copy to catch restaurants/bars that do this. Luckily, Amex and Chase Sapphire are always there to help me dispute charges such as these. I won’t be going back to Pump ever again P. S. it is a douchey scene and way overpriced :)

So happy my husband let me indulge in my reality TV fun as I dragged him off course to have a drink here. Thank you Unilocal and Pump for throwing in a discount for a Pump-tini w/a check in! Absolutely adored the courtyard garden and the fresh roses. A great back drop to enjoy my Pump-tini and my husband also thoroughly enjoyed his Bye-felychee. Did not have the chance to grab a snack as we had already eaten earlier but everything on the menu and coming out looked fresh and delicious. Servers were very nice and attentive here

This wasn’t my first time at Pumps and was quite surprised at the slow service I received last night. When I arrived, I was seated promptly. However, the server want prompt at all! We weren’t even offered a glass of water. I was quite surprised at this because prior service on my previous visits had been great. The time was at 6:45pm on Saturday. I say on the outside patio and we were the only ones so I have no idea why it took so long to get a server. The bad part is I took a friend there for his first time and he wasn’t impressed. Other than the slow service, the the food and drinks were really great! I got the fish and chips, AGAIN! They are just so good, I couldn’t resist. If I decide to go again, I must try something different. Fish and chips Pumptini Pinktini Service

Lisa Vanderpump’s newest West Hollywood hotspot is something that should not be missed! Located on the corner of Santa Monica and Roberston, Pump is both an excellent place for a meal and somewhere to go when you’re looking for a party with amazing drinks. When you walk in, you are greeted by a mostly male staff that could be straight off the cover of a fashion magazine. Very good looking dudes, in tight pink Pump attire. The ambiance is somewhat mystical, with twinkly trees lit throughout the indoor and outdoor portions of the restaurant. It makes for a cozy and somewhat magical atmosphere amongst a very trendy and WeHo vibe. There are a few different bars to sit at, and I made my way to the one towards the back. I was able to snag a bar stool, and I was quickly greeted by the Bar Manager, Eric. He was fantastic! He was very informative on the drink menu, which makes sense since he is the creator of the unique cocktails you’ll find at Pump. He made me a delicious Pumptini to start. I had seen the drink featured on the Bravo TV show Vanderpump Rules, and had to give it a try, Note-Pump cocktails are delicious AND strong, a dangerous combination. It won’t take much to get a buzz going. After trying(and loving) the Pumptini, Eric recommended another signature cocktail, the Pump and Glory, which had more of a cucumber flavor to it. Also delicious! I would highly recommend any of their cocktails. The bartenders here are courteous and skilled, you can’t go wrong. Pump isn’t a cheap place for a drink, but you get a lot of bang for your buck. It’s a great stop if you are out on the town in West Hollywood, but also just as good for a romantic date night. Parking is street, valet, or garage so you have some options. I didn’t get the chance to try any food on this visit, but I fully intend to go back for dinner sometime soon! Check it out! You won’t be disappointed.

We came around 9pm on a Sunday and were greeted by friendly hostesses and the bar manager at the front door. The bar manager learned that it was my birthday and sent me a drink, which I thought was a very nice gesture. This restaurant is so beautiful. We sat outside which was nicely decorated, as well. My friend and I split the Mykonos Salad and Rigatoni with Roasted Chicken and Pine Nuts. The salad was fresh and a big portion. The rigatoni was really good, however, we ended up with ground meat instead of pieces of roasted chicken, as I’d envisioned it. I actually don’t even know if it was ground chicken, turkey, or beef. By that point we were so hungry we didn’t even realize it until about halfway through the meal and didn’t even bother saying anything. The flavors in the pasta were really good and the cream sauce wasn’t too heavy. The server was a bit dismissive; we only saw him when he greeted us/took our order and then later when he dropped off the check. Our food and drinks were delivered by food runners, and he may have forgotten about us since we were his only outdoor table. Other than that I had a good experience and would return.

This restaurant exceeded my expectations! My friends and I go to nice restaurants in Hollywood for birthdays and other special occasions. When we go to a fancy restaurant in Hollywood, at least one of the following things happen: –Wait about 30 minutes or so for a table(even though we have a reservation) –Terrible customer service –Food is mediocre and portions are small I’m happy to say that none of these things happened at Pump. We had a 9:00 pm dinner reservation. We arrived at 8:50 and four out of the six people from our group were there. We were seated immediately. Our waiter provided excellent customer service. Their bartenders there are friendly. One even offered to take a picture of me and my friend. Their drinks are strong and taste good. I had the peach kiss. For our entrees, my fiancé had the Rigatoni and I had the Kales on a date salad. I tried the rigatoni and really liked the white wine cream sauce that they put on it. My kale salad was a little too sweet for me.(I’m not into sweets at all. I don’t even put sugar in my coffee). Even though it was a little too sweet for me, the salad tasted fresh and there was plenty of chicken in it. Everyone in our group seemed to have liked their food. I highly recommend this place.

Food: average bar food. Fries, mini pizzas, hummus with 4 pieces of pita, fried shrimp, mediocre bruschetta Ambiance: beautiful. It’s nice to sip a glass of rosé under trees and twinkle lights. Service: good. Our server kept our glasses full. Parking: street parking or valet after 6pm?(Not sure what the valet situation is)

What a beautiful restaurant… My friends and I had plans to see James Lawson at the Troubadour close by and were on the look out for a place to eat before heading over to the show. After a good drive around the block, PUMP grabbed all our attention; and being a huge fan of RHOB, I was quick to agree(with just a bit of excitement), that PUMP would be perfect :) We were fortunate enough to find a parking space nearly right in front. We of course did not have prior reservations, but were able to be quickly seated upon entering at a nice little table close to the bar area. The restaurant is absolutely, breathtakingly beautiful. The menu was also quite appealing, with enough tasteful sounding options to choose from. Oh, and a fantastic cocktail menu as well. For drinks, I went with one of their signature cocktails«Pump and Glory» one friend went with a glass of Moe’t and my other friend/driver just opted for sparkling water. For food, I went with the Pan Seared Salmon. It comes with an array of vegetables and potatoes; I just opted out on the potatoes. My other friend went with the Seared Ahi Tuna. The other, just opted out on food. Now, I admit I can be a little picky when it comes to my cocktails, but this cocktail was ABSOLUTELYFANTASTIC! Made to perfection… not too sweet, perfect amount of spice and strong :) I could have had several. Then the food arrived looking above average in presentation. So having been to SUR, where I thought the food was extremely underwhelming, I wasn’t necessarily expecting to be too impressed with what Pump would produce, but I have to say, I was surprisingly quite impressed with the overall taste and execution of this dish. Salmon was seasoned and cooked perfectly and even the vegetables were cooked fairly well. Service was also extremely attentive and friendly. Great first time experience. Even looking forward to possibly booking a special event here sometime in the future.

Was very impressed with the food! Great atmosphere, nicely decorated. Staff was on top of it for the most part. We had a very large party of around 60. We had a full time server making sure our water cups were full. Literally he walked in circles. The only reason I can’t give a 5th star is because there was no men’s restroom. 1 women’s and 2 unisex, it’s like we men don’t exist. Lol

Fun place to go out with girlfriends for drinks and dinner. It is literally like a club while you eat. They bump good music and dim the lights. The décor is super cute. Loved the vibe and had a great time. Only downside is the high cost for just better than mediocre food. But you don’t go for the food :)

Overall, I would recommend someone go to PUMP for an appetizer or drink to hang out, but not a night out for dinner. We ordered tuna tar tar, and chicken dishes. The food was surprisingly disappointing. They also charge for rolls. Is that ethical? Chocolate cake was dry. We came for happy hour at the bar and the service wasn’t great. We asked which wines were included in the $ 7 special and the bartender said«it doesn’t matter, all of them.» The bill made it matter when it was double the price we expected and the waiter was a /-*%. The service at dinner was unfortunately the worst part. It took a while to get a waiter, drink refills and about 15 mins until our desert came. Yes, I’m a fan of the show, and mostly just Lisa. I think she has good taste and that shows in her space. The ambiance was the most memorable part of my experience.

After a delicious dinner at nearby Tortilla Republic, my friends and I decided to go to PUMP for a couple of drinks. We are all fans of the reality show Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, and were hoping to see Lisa Vanderpump, a person on the show and also the owner of Pump. We unfortunately did not but we did see her son and James from the show Vanderpump Rules. This restaurant/bar is in the gay area of weho, which can be a really fun place to go out! The décor is pretty and you can tell they put a lot of effort into the restaurant interior design. Anyways, the restaurant was pretty busy when we got there around 11 on Friday night, especially the outdoor bar, so we got a drink inside. Unfortunately someone kept farting next to us at the bar and it was disgusting, but luckily we found a table to sit at nearby and got away from the smell. I usually order the Pumptini, but with a Unilocal check in you get an $ 8 drink, either a Pumptini or a Pump and Glory, and I decided to branch out and go with the Pump and Glory. I was glad I did because it was delicious! I am giving this restaurant 3 stars because honestly I don’t love the atmosphere. I feel like a lot of the people who go there only do so because of Lisa being on TV(which is why I did) and it kind of brings in a weird crowd. I’m being a huge hypocrite but whatever. The people there seem like they are tourists. I would go back for a drink when in weho, but I don’t really need to anytime soon.

The Quick: Beautiful enchanted garden with a phenomenal happy hour menu(food and drinks). Perfect way to start an evening in WeHo… Cheers! The Details: This venue is literally what dreams are made of. I was waiting for mystical fairies to fly by. I would literally have every social occasion here if I could– bridal shower, birthday, baby shower, you name it! It was that special. To start, our bartender, Adyr, was an absolute delight. He made multiple recommendations and made sure our night was perfect. Cheers to you sir! The drinks were all extremely sweet and girlie, just the way I like them. I recommend the champagne cocktail on happy hour special if you are interested in a moderate sweetness level. The food was also great, we loved the rock shrimp were shocked at how big the happy hour portion was. Its pretty pricey during regular hours so not sure if I’d return for dinner but my happy hour experience was amazing. I’m sending my parents there next week, I’m sure they’ll have a similar experience. The Damage: Happy hour specials were great $ 50 pre tip for 3 people for multiple cocktails and a split appetizer.

Great experience. Booked my reservation on opentable for 9pm. Very nice staff. My waiter did a great job. The drinks were very strong. Started dinner off with the rock shrimp and an order of bread. The rock shrimp was good, presentation wasn’t the greatest. For entrees it was the fish and chip and the truffle mushroom chicken. The fish and chips was a very generous portion of food. The overall taste of the food was about a 3.8/5* star. For dessert was the Rose mousse. Wow very rich and tasty 5* star. Overall experience was a 5* they made my Birthday girls night very special. Bravo!

I’ve been to Lisa Vanderpumps other restaurants; Villa Blanca and SUR several times and I love the vibe and the passion she has put into each one. I truly feel like each restaurant is a must stop place not only for the décor but the food and service is really good. When you first enter PUMP Restaurant all you see are beautiful trees and a blend of indoor and outdoor feel. My cousin, best friend from NY decided to go to here for brunch, and we all absolutely loved our entrees. I ordered the veggie omelet, my cousin ordered the steak and eggs and my bf from NY ordered the salmon benedict. Again, all so mouthwatering. We wanted to take our bf from NY somewhere super chic and she was highly impressed as she loved all the chandeliers that were in the patio. I ordered the LVP sangria and my cousin and bf ordered the margarita pitcher. Needless to say, we ended up having a great time. Oh… almost forgot we ordered the ahi tuna tar tar and calamari which was really good and the portions weren’t that small, surprisingly. Our server, was really nice too. I had a few questions about the menu and she gave us her recommendations and we were all very happy with our decision. I would absolutely recommend for other Unilocalers/customers to stop on by.
