This was my first time here I really enjoyed eating the nachos I also ordered the tacos which I wasn’t very fond of but and then I ordered the brownie fudge with ice cream that was incredible but above all I have to say customer service is incredible specially by Diana she was very knowledgeable in the menu incredibly kind and a beautiful soul I have to say it’s a great place to eat

This place is fantastic. I had the Tuna Melt with the House salad and a side of fries. I have never been more impressed with a Vegan place. Everything we ate was Wheat and Soy free, which is the number 1 important thing to me. They have multiple options dependent on what your dietary needs are. But the flavor was great and I will definitely come back here again. Take a look at there menu cause it’s great. Can’t wait to come and try the breakfast, love that they use almond flour! And our server was fantastic and we even spoke with one of the managers who was great! Must come here, even if you’re not Vegan!

Had the Ruben! So good! Been plant based two years, missed going to Canters. Really excited for this option! Been several times, everything has been great. I think Wednesday is ½ price on wine. Got a bottle. Great table service.

I had the spicy blt which was so good I may want to go back and get it again. The Caesar side salad was the best I’ve had in a while, but then again it’s been a while since I’ve had a Caesar salad. The staff was friendly and food was tasty and healthy. What more can you ask for?

I hate such a love-hate relationship with this place. Love: the not chos, the Mediterranean salad Hate: that they changed the bread on the salad. The new one sucks change it back! Hate: that my salad is $ 17… It’s overpriced. Love: well it is a big salad… And that cashew cheese… Hate: the Valentines menu. It was not worth $ 72… The only good thing was the entrée and dessert. Hate: $ 7 coffee that isn’t that good. I didn’t even finish it. Love: the atmosphere and workers. Hate: the stupid bench seating where I’m practically in my neighbors lap.

This place was ok. Nothing special. I got the veggie burger and found it slightly bland. The tempeh bacon and cashew cheese had a good flavor to it. Caesar salad was good. It wasn’t horrible food but for the price it just wasn’t worth it. Nothing else on the lunch menu seemed appealing. Maybe there dinner or brunch menu is better. Overall I was disappointed. I was really looking forward to coming here. Just an over priced veggie grill.

The Stoff exceptionally thorough about ingredients — particularly any hidden sugars. This is a classic restaurant one of the first vegan/vegetarian and restaurants of a consistently high standards in my sentiments. It’s seen its competitors come and go but has remained true and exactly what it says it is My Kung Po was deliciously spicey. It had a kick that was unexpected but welcome! Fresh. Tasty. And clean.

I got the Great Cardini salad and the Real Food Meal. I thought both were amazing. The vegetables in the meal were steamed and went amazing with the cilantro dressing. It felt healthy. The issue I usually have with vegetarian restaurants is they compensate for meat by frying everything or over salting. This is not the case here! It was naturally delicious. The only reason I would not give it 5 stars is the price. I can’t even justify it. The location is meh looking. $ 16 for a salad is INSANE. I saved the business money by not having my food cooked, ergo it saved manpower. Therefore it should be cheaper.

Awesome place. Great service. The art on the wall was pretty neat. I ordered the Lasagna and it was delish. This would be 5 stars if the Lasagna wasn’t burnt at the bottom was tough like plastic other than that, everything was great.

I’m your standard meat and potatoes type of dude. But, I have been spending more time in the area and ended up here 2 x’s in the last month. Both times were the exact same experience: 1) Walk in, SUPERNICEGREETING 2) Sit and order an appetizer 3) Get food within 10 mins 4) Wait like 30 minutes for your check, lol Not sure what the hell happens with the check part, this is the only thing they need to work on. We’re here for a quick lunch, not trying to stay for dinner, please bring the check. We’d like to go, and we’re sure you’d like to turn your tables. Like for real though, you have to ask like 3 – 4 times to get your bill so you can GTFO and get back to work. Anyway, the FOOD, it’s amazing. I did the 3 amigos both times. Loved it both times. Did the Mexican Tacos Thing, was expecting mediocre vegetarian food. MINDWASBLOWN. Went back and got the BLT, MINDBLOWNAGAIN. If I could just eat vegetarian food that tasted like this all the time, perhaps I could finally overcome the conflct that I have with loving animals, but not wanting to eat them, but finding them delicious and in someway critical to most meals, which is just terrible conditioning from our food standards and system. The prices suck, like how the hell was a lunch for 2 + 1 appetizer $ 60… LOL Anyway, it’s nice, but not that NICE for an impressive lunch. Take your out of town down to earth vegetarian friend here to make them happy. Keep doing what you do RFD, but maybe drop the prices a wee bit and bring that check a bit quicker. Kudos for making me like vegetarian food too.

Had a great dinner here. The Classic Comfort was delicious, with lentil loaf, mashed potatoes and gravy, and roasted broccolini… it was great! I also tried their southern cornbread and was not disappointed. One more note — the chocolate fudge cake was divine! The pretty but casual atmosphere, friendly staff, and potential for celeb spotting all add to the awesomeness here. Highly recommend!

The club… mmmmm that’s all I can say. Lol The crispy seitan is delicious, and I get it with the caesar on the side so I can dip my sandwich in the caesar dressing, trust me it’s not pretty but it’s delicious. WARNING: Do not tip your triple decker seitan and tempeh bacon club into delicious caesar dressing while on a date.

Found this nice little vegetarian gem on Unilocal.Located a little past Beverly Center and near a Trashy Lingerie. Street metered parking is available, can get busy during peak hours. Started off with the Homemade Lemonade with Ginger. Very refreshing! A nice list of specials. I tried the Chili Cheese Fries. The cashew cheese was very creamy and tasty. The fries were on point. For our main meals were shared The Charlie and the Thanksgiving Teaser. The faux turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, veggies and cranberry sauce were a great reminder of the upcoming holiday with the meat. No turkeys were killed for this meal :) I was happily surprised by The Charlie(tuna salad wrap). I stole most of my date’s wrap. The chipotle aioli added a good spicy kick. We ordered way too much food for just the two of us. Will definitely be coming back here.

I’ve been to Real Food Daily a number of times, though lately it’s mostly at the LAX location(which is a Godsend). I’ve had hit or miss service so I wanted to wait until I had a better experience before writing a review and that happened yesterday. If they could get it together so service was always great this would be 5 stars for sure. Maybe I’ll update if service continues to be improved. Yesterday, the hostess sat us immediately and we were asked for drink orders within seconds. Our server was kind, competent and even knew what a «dirty chai» was. And for the coffee addicts out there they do individual espresso drinks as well as serving Groundwork Organic Coffee. The restaurant(from outside) looks smaller then it actually is. Inside, you have a bar area where you can sit and dine and then a spacious dining room with booth-ish tables on two sides.(Both-ish because one person is on the«booth» and the outside person is in a chair). The vibe is easy and casual. No frills, definitely not fancy.(Thought the prices are similar to some fancier vegan joints.) For starters I’ve ordered the Sea Cake which is a yam and sea vegetable croquette, wild arugula, pesto, spicy aioli. Maybe it was a bad day but the one time I ordered this it took a LONG time even though the restaurant wasn’t busy so while it was tasty — I’ve never had it since.(hat said, yesterday I ordered the miso soup which was delivered to my table in record time(and it was delicious.) I’ve also had the«Not-chos» which is awesome and FILLING so be careful if you get this as an app and definitely share it. Also for $ 3 extra you can add in taco mix and I always do. Yum. The regular order is cashew cheese, black beans, pico de gallo, tofu sour cream, and yummy fresh guacamole. For salads I get either the Great Cardini(which is Tuscan kale, romaine, garbanzo beans, red quinoa, roasted yam croutons, creamy almond shallot dressing, spiced pumpkin seeds, macadamia parmesan, and avocado — Hearty and delish) or the Cesar with Blackened Tempeh(Romaine hearts, capers, blue corn croutons, caesar dressing) and since the LAX location took that Ceasar off the menu(HOW. DARE. YOU.) I generally get the caesar when I can now.(Tip: You can also add the taco mix for that same $ 3 extra and it makes this salad more like a «Southwestern Ceasar and you will thank me.) The Reuben is also the go-to dish for another friend of mine and while I haven’t had it since I never ate actual Reubens, she swears by it, lives for it, would make babies with it if she could.(However, that would be messy and gross. Sorry for the visual.) The Burrito is always great and you can opt for the burrito bowl, if you want it to be a little lighter(although there is rice and everything else in the bowl so really all you’re skipping is the tortilla so it’s kind of a wash.) Yesterday my friend got the Lasagna and she loved it. She also said she didn’t want to go to a place that was too«vegan-y» so that was a ringing endorsement. The desserts are always off the hook and you can’t go wrong with any of them. For nice days(and this is LA so we have them a lot) there is a cute outdoor patio. There is no parking lot and limited street parking so give yourself an extra 5 minutes to find your spot.

During my last visit to LA, I specifically chose an AirBnB for its proximity to Real Food Daily. I wanted to be able to grab some food on our way back to LAX. Unfortunately, our terminal was not the one that has RFD in it. We got to RFD right when they opened up at 11am and were greeted by a super friendly staff. While everything sounded really good, my girlfriend and I opted for the Great Cardini Salad and Club sandwich. Ten minutes later, the food was ready and the staff gave us a bunch of napkins and utensils(which was much appreciated.) By the time we got to the airport, about 45 minutes later, I thought the food would be soggy and only a shadow of itself. Surprisingly, both items were still very much intact and fresh. The containers they used were top notch and they kept the sandwiches together with toothpicks. But onto the food… The salad had so many delicious ingredients and flavors, and was HUGE. In particular, I loved the yam croutons and the almond shallot dressing(which had a very tahini like texture.) If I was eating by myself, I could have had this alone and been very satisfied. The club sandwich was more or less straightforward, which is a good thing! The tempeh bacon was cut way thinner than I’ve ever seen anywhere else, which made the sandwich easier to eat and more authentic. The fries that came on the side were seasoned potato wedges, also very filling. They went well with the horseradish aioli. Next time I’m in LA, I will definitely try to stop back here and actually dine at the restaurant.

Completely delicious, high quality food. The flavors were amazing! I got a southwest chili special and a kale salad. My favorite surprise was the cucumber-kale-lemonade — what a perfect blend of juices to create a technicolor green refreshing, light juice! I love the ambience of this place as well. It feels good, it’s healthy, it’s delicious. I wish I lived closer to enjoy it more often!

My wife dragged me to a Vegan restaurant. The kind of place where the cod’s a fraud, the steak’s a fake, the ham’s a sham, where the gras is faux, and the bologna is phogna. At least the guacamole, potatoes, and pasta are real, so no mockamole, imitaters, or imposta. The menu was pretty big, so I would consider coming back, actually. I had a breakfast burrito. It had scrambled tofu, tofu sour cream, and cashew cheese(which is not my thing). But it was good. Not cheap, but good. The place was trendy but casual, open-aired, and uncramped. Sara Gilbert & Linda Perry were there. I can’t guarantee they will be there when you go. They’re not fixtures. Maybe you can call ahead, I don’t know.

My friend is vegan so she invited us to RFD to celebrate her birthday. We got there on a Friday night and it wasn’t too packed, the waitress took our drink order, I got a lime mate which was half lemonade and half yerba matte. It tasted ok but it was too expensive $ 5.00 for it. It wasn’t even freshly squeezed so I will not be buying that again. I ordered a Southwest Salad which was pretty good, it had black beans, brown rice, pico de gallo, jicama, guacamole and tortilla strips. These tasted like doritos, they were so good. Hubby ordered the not-chos, they were pretty good considering the cheese and sour cream were fake. I absolutely love vegan desserts, they tend to be lighter and fluffier in texture. I tried the faux-tess cupcake which is an expensive vegan version of the regular hostess one. It was pretty good. My friend got a brownie bowl, it was a brownie, ice cream and chocolate sauce. If I return to Veggie Grill I just wanna eat that, the ice cream was so good! The food was decent, desserts were off the hook. Good experience, I will come back with a vegan friend but not on my own.

We got here on a Thur. night around 8:10pm good luck trying to find a parking space… or you could valet park, we circle twice ended up on a side street, we were seated in a timely manner or drinks and water were not in a timely manner more less like 15 hold mins. and the dinning area was not that busy. the take out area was popping. Another 10 to 15 mins. slowly ticks away time to order we tried to order two different Items sadly to be told I’m sorry we are out of the Not-chos and the Yucca fries, restaurants mangers should do a better job in keeping an ample amount of the food Items that sell out fast, we got the Charlie which is a sandwich melt with almond tuna, lettuce, tomato, and chipotle aioli on a sourdough bread with a salad on the side, this was very delicious. Happy hour Mon.-Fri.4 to 7 plus on Wednesdays all wines are 50% off.

I used to frequent RFD’s Santa Monica location. One day, many, many years ago, I decided to check out this location to have one of my favorite items, a Ceasar Wrap, that I somehow remember having yet it’s no longer offered on their most recent menu. Although it was good, the most memorable thing I remember from that experience was that I felt extremely underdressed. The customers here like to class it up at this location and I felt very out of place with my jeans and tank top. I’m not saying that people are in formal wear or anything but I was surrounded by a lot of stylishness. You would think I would remember to not make that same mistake twice. Flash forward many, many years later to a few weeks ago when the BF and I are having a dessert craving. I suggest the nearest RFD and we end up here in our casual wear. Very quickly, we realized that maybe we should’ve worn nicer clothes. Gah! Despite our fashion choices, we were still treated with friendliness and acceptance by the staff. Our waitress, in particular, was very peppy and sweet :) The BF ordered a Sweet Green juice with a shot of ginger. Made fresh and very tasty! …although he would disagree and say that it tasted like grass. He doesn’t like green juices but he forced himself to drink one because he felt a cold coming on. I however could drink Sweet Green everyday! The cleverly named Faux-stess Cupcake was decorated just like a hostess cupcake. It had a thin layer of fudgey icing with white curly-cues. The chocolate cake was a bit on the dense and dry side however the marshmallow cream filling in the middle kinda makes up for it. It had this amazing flavor to it that reminded me of butterscotch. A yummy surprise! The Salted Carmel Cupcake was delicious! Although the chocolate cake was also a bit on the dry side, it wasn’t as dry as the Faux-stess. The caramel buttercream topping was heavenly! I was amazed at how much caramel flavor was infused into the buttercream. Yes, there was a dollop of delicious, gooey caramel sauce in the middle of the buttercream but even if you taste the buttercream by itself, there was so much caramel flavor! I wouldn’t say these are the best desserts I’ve ever had at RFD but I left pretty satisfied. I’m still a fan knowing that they make a great Peanut Butter Cream Pie. The LAXRFD also has a legit yummy Carrot Cake.

In summary, delicious food but kind of pricey, especially for the appetizers. Their Happy Hour isn’t really any real deal since it’s basically half a portion costing half the price of a full portion. I was so excited to try their nachos only to discover that their tortilla chips were fried(on a no fried-diet), so we ended up ordering their mushroom sliders and their cornbread with a tahini-miso spread. The sliders were $ 11 for three bite-size portions. Don’t get me wrong, they were good — but maybe not worth $ 11. Their cornbread was $ 4 plus $ 2 for the spread. Although the spread is a great idea in order to sub for butter, their cornbread was dense and brittle. They should stick with a cake recipe for their cornbread because it was almost brick like. For the entrees, we got the Caribbean quesadillas and Kung Pao bowl. Both were delicious. Despite wanting more cheese in the quesadillas and maybe some caramelized onions and vegetables or soy protein, the mango salsa, guac, and side of grilled plantains contrasted nicely to the main part of the dish. I would definitely order the Kung Pao bowl again. It’s sweet, it’s spicy, it’s hearty, and filling. My advice, instead of ordering 2 small appetizers, get another entrée. It’ll cost a lot less. I would recommend the quesadillas as an appetizer for sure.

Best Vegan restaurant that I’ve been to in Los Angeles. Every time I drag a non-Vegan here, they are shocked at how good the food is. RFD has a rotating menu, with specials for each day and lots of Vegan takes on classic American and Mexican dishes. The entrees are very filling, and generally in the $ 10 – 20 range. Service is consistently good, and you may see a celebrity or two here(Tobey McGuire and family sat a table away from mine once). 4.5 stars.

I brought my sister here who has recently become vegan. For her, like I’m sure for many new vegans, this place is food heaven. She ordered a club wrap that was filled tempeh and loved it. I ordered the Real Food Burger that consisted of a mushroom and lentil patty sandwiched between crusty ciabatta bread. I liked it a lot and that is coming from a meat eater. The meals are pricey but if you’re vegan and in town, definitely check it out. The ambiance is pretty relaxed. Our server was great but service was a little slow but the restaurant was packed the night we went. That probably attests to the restaurants popularity among vegans!
