Very kitchy. Brunch was delicious and service was great. We had the breakfast burrito and jalapeño mac and cheese.

This is a touristy spot but the breakfast is pretty decent. The alcohol prices are pretty fair. This place is pretty average to be honest

Came here for Sunday dinner. Service was abysmal! Food was mediocre. Worst experience ever, don’t plan on coming back.

I’ve only had good times at Saddle Ranch, like the waitresses and waiters are so very cool! I popped in urgently needing to use a laptop and I was just sitting at the bar, and I met this waitress called Lisa, and probably the coolest guy I’ve met at a Saddle Ranch called Kuron, the girls are all so hot and pretty, and nice, and the food, well you might have to just try it for yourself to see how good it is, upon recommendation I got the ice-​cream pie special. It’s on the top 5 I’ve had in LA, and that’s many. Tell these people that Cam sent you, they’ll definitely take Saddle Ranch care of you.

Not so happy with the food and service this time. First, they forgot our utensils and had to go to the front to get it since you never really see your server. Our wings were too salty and the meatloaf was just ok. Nothing special about it. We didn’t even eat our food and it was just a waste to have it to go.
Wait was ridiculously two hours the first batch then my friends came and wouldn’t let us have the other table next to us so we had to wait another two hours again to get a bigger table. When I had my birthday party here four years ago, they let us have the tables as our party grew (it was 40 people at the end of the night).

Saddle Ranch Chop House is a fun restaurant/​pub/​bar located on Sunset Blvd in Hollywood. We were walking down Sunset Blvd when decided to stop here for a drink and ended up staying longer than expected. The atmosphere of this places reminds you to a Cowboy’s Restaurant. The decoration outside and inside is very cool and fun. Everything made with wood with Far West decoration. But the main attraction is the mechanical bull they have! Since I have never ridden one, I was able to do it for free! Sweet!
This is a great place to stop for a couple of drinks and having some food. The food here mainly revolves around meat, hamburgers, and some Mexican food. The staff was very friendly and took very good care of the customers. Food was good and portions were big too! The dance area is somewhat outside, so if you get hot, you’re ten steps away from fresh air.
All in all, it’s a good experience and not outrageously expensive.

A group of us went here for my brother’s birthday. It was a only a couple minutes ride from the place we were staying at.
The staff is friendly and upbeat. They try to get your to ride their mechanical bull which is plopped right in the middle of the restaurant. The restaurant has a western cowboy thematic feel to it. They are very accommodating of special occasions, and had some extra perks for my brother.
Their food was okay, having a typical steakhouse chain menu. Where they shined was their demeanor and presentation to make the dining experience more exciting and enjoyable.

A pretty good time here. I think I was here 10 years ago? Drinks and Dinner for table of 9. We had to wait a bit, well the staff was fun, accommodating.
Touristy type bar with the mechanical bull feature. We had some beers before being seated. I had the Ballast Point Sculpin IPA. Staff was pretty active and attentive.
The menu had so many choices — I ordered the Filet Mignon for a big dinner treat. The steak was good, the accompanying Mashed Potatoes were not hot. They were good – I believe a garlic accent to them, but this meal could’ve been so much better if the spuds were hot.
I ordered glass of house Cab, too. It was fine.
We had a nice time here. I didn’t get on the mechanical bull despite my friends’ prodding. It was a scene to see them manipulate the bull for the different riders. Racey!
Every table seems to get massive Cotton Candy tree delivered to their table. We did as well but we did not order. They removed it from the bill. I think this is standard.

I’ve been to the Saddle ranch location in West Hollywood as well as the one in Hollywood’s Universal Studios. Honestly, my main squeeze with both locations, especially the West Hollywood one, is the vibe. I love the country vibe; I feel like I’m in an old bar in the early 40s. The electric bill riding is the best touch.
Food and drinks: Oh my gosh. Their burgers. Any single one of them is perfectly made. Their stwak, burger, turkey, and veggie sandwiches are extraordinary and truly cooked to perfection. Their drinks are my favorite. I love how they make «adiós mf»; the drink isn’t heavy but is enough to get you to enjoy yourself.
Service: ALWAYS top notch. I have no complaints about their service. Ever. They have always managed to be attentive whether they are busy or if it is slower. Their service is always delightful; they always try their best to make you feel super comfortable.
Parking: This is probably the main headache. It can be irritating if you do no trust valet or public parking. Best time to attend is late night, however, it gets super packed and the only parking option available is valet. I would recommend getting a ride to the location so you can fully enjoy the menu and drinks without worrying about driving.

BEWARE OF YOUR CREDIT CARD! My husband and I ran a tab while dining at the bar. Our bill came to approx. $ 73. Three days later another bill for approx. $ 60 showed up on our bank account!!! I called. They denied it since it was pending. All of a sudden it disappeared from the account… they obviously found it and pulled it.
Someone must have kept our card number and used it again 3 days later!!! I wonder how many other customers had this happen and don’t check their bank accounts.
I would have gave this place 5 stars because of the food and service. Next time I’m going in with cash.
It’s very casual. Great food.

I give only 4 stars just because there is always room for improvement. This is a Hollywood institute. Been here a few times and this place is exactly what it should be– super American, little bit for tourists but locals come here a lot.
It’s mainly the vibe and the whole experience and not only the bar or the kitchen. They r open every day so on my way back from Thanksgiving motorcycle ride I stopped here and the place is full! Great cajon burger and I’m set!

Horrible service! Do not give this establishment your business!!! Food is very mediocre. The general manager Eric George doesn’t have the authority to refund a club sandwich that is dry with fries that are old!!! He told me to speak to corporate about it and gave me Candy’s phone number in corporate. I have never seen this type of service or corporate regulations ever in my life. I paid $ 72 for dinner and all wanted is to get a refund for $ 12.99 the cost of the stinking sandwich! Wow I am beyond shocked. Please do not give them your business. Take it to other restaurants with better food and service.

Definitely coming out here again. Came here for the first time to celebrate my 22 birthday & had the best time. One of the managers, I didn’t get his name but he made sure we were taken care of. Starting right when we came to check in. We got seated right away & had the most chill server. Didn’t get her name either :(but she was super cool & got our orders out quick. Amazing staff. & at the end of our dinner, our server surprised us with birthday shots! Tastes exactly like a chocolate cake. So sweet! Then just when we were about to leave, one of the managers came out & gave me this tall cotton candy tower with a candle! Couldn’t have picked a better place to celebrate my early birthday dinner. Will be coming back here again. maybe even get on the bull! :) recommending this place to my friends to come out. Thanks saddle ranch for making my birthday dinner so much fun ! :)

One of the best part about our experience here was their customer service. They were superb. With that said, I’d have to say their bread here was good too, but the rest of my order was a miss. Maybe because Saddle was super busy on a Sunday with a ball game going on and limited to wait staff? I’m not really sure, but I’d give them another try when I’m in the area.

Walking out of Universal Studios we were handed a 20% off coupon, and we’re heading out to find somewhere to eat … Why not… We decided to try Saddle Ranch … We gathered on the patio, watched people try and stay on the bull and were entertained for 20 minutes while we waited for a table… We ordered the nachos, the group felt they are really really good. I don’t know why we were surprised perhaps because some Mexican restaurant sometimes can’t get it right… But the Saddle Ranch got it right…
Another yummy surprise … The hot corn bread muffins and biscuits… A disappointment … The French fries and the chicken tortilla soup.
Our group enjoyed their burgers and the all day breakfast choice, pancakes. Was sad to find that the Chicken Tortilla Soup was too thick and not the right flavor for me … Just not to my liking… The TVs, music, fire on the patio… overall nice … I would come back just for the hot bread and the nachos… good service, knowledgeable and helpful staff…

This is a great place for a mix of customer service and food at its best. The food will keep your hunger satisfied as they have ribs, chicken, and a variety of other meats that will have you wanting more and more. The bottomless mimosas are a great choice to wash their satisfying tasting food down. They also have a mixed plate sampler that will allow you to taste their variety of great tasting delicacies.
Customer service is great, even when they are packed, the servers make sure your needs are met.
Parking is valet, or an adjacent side street if your fortunate to find a spot.

Just like all the reviews stated, the customer service here is just impeccable. My boyfriend and I wanted to grab some food around 11pm on a Sunday night and stumbled upon this place on Unilocal.We were greeted by almost everyone– the bouncer, the hostess, the bartender who waved from behind the bar, the waiter, and even the chef! Everyone acknowledges you here, it wasn’t like you were just the next customer.
They were going to have a live band but I hesitated sitting outside as it was slightly chilling so the hostess said we can sit you by the outside fire pit. This fire pit also serves as a double purpose for the s’mores you can order to make for dessert over the pit! Our waiter was really nice and informative. Another waiter walked by and introduced himself and offered help if she wasn’t around. The chef personally came out to deliver our food to us which I am amazed at. It was fine dining treatment without the prices. My boyfriend asked for a cup of milk to go along with his dessert, the waiter bought two glasses which I informed her I cannot have milk products. She didn’t take it away like other people would, she simply just gave it to my boyfriend whom was as happy as a child.
As we walked out, we walked by Kevin Hart so I can only assume the amount of celebrities who come into this place late because they know the place provides good service and food. We drove by multiple times before and it didn’t seem like a place I would pick out to visit on my own (had a country look to it) but I am glad we did. This is located right on Sunset as well so it makes it easy for tourist to get to it. I would recommend coming here for sure. I look forward to coming back and trying that huge cotton candy!

We had a very nice evening here. Cocktails were mixed just right, management was present throughout the evening (encouraging the girls at the table to ride the bull… too funny to watch all the ladies ride the bull!)
This was just right for a casual dinner in LA.
Pricing was reasonable, and the nachos were excellent, really, truly excellent.
In addition, there is comfortable booth seating, sporting events on multiple flat screens, and if you are in to it, there was a guitar duo roving around… we didn’t have them play at our table, but in general, it was ok background music.
I would return here specifically for a large plate of nachos and a Margarita Up.
I don’t know how popular this place is with the LA crowd, but we all liked the service, friendliness of the staff, and the Can Do attitude of everyone that works there.
The 4 young women that I had the pleasure to accompany to dinner were right at home… and I thought this restaurant was very appropriate for large groups of all ages.

Ein in Form eines Saloons aufgemachtes Steakhaus/​Bar/​Restaurant in LA. Riesig und witzig. Bis ca. 22 Uhr auch Familienrestaurant, danach Partylocation. Im Restaurant-​Innenbereich gibt es auch einen elektrischen Bullen, für den der sich vor seinen Kollegen/​Freunden zum Affen machen will oder einfach Spaß haben will… und sich im Bullenreiten versuchen will.
Es gibt auch Außenplätze, wo auch mehrere offene Feuerstellen vorhanden sind, z.B. um Marshmallows zu grillen.
Service ist relativ effizient und schnell, die Speisen sind alle relativ groß und häufig kalorienreich, — wie oft in USA. Dienstags gibt es teilweise Spareribs — all you can eat —, wem das Freude bereitet.
Oft gibt es — bei ausreichendem Verzehr am Familientisch — vom Restaurant zum Anschluß noch ein Dessert geschenkt, z.B. Zuckerwatte oder Marshmallows, — eine nette Geste.
Neben dem Restaurant gibts einen Valet Parking-​Service, sodaß auch das Autoabstellen nicht problematisch ist. Wer die paar Dollar sparen will, kann häufig auch auf der gegenüberliegenden Strassenseite einen Platz finden.
Da das Restaurant ganz in Holz und witzig aufgemacht ist, halten zahlreiche Sightseeing-​Busse vor der Ranch… und die Leute machen Fotos…
Unser Tip: Bei ausreichender Temperatur draussen sitzen, notfalls gibts dort auch Heizstrahler.

I’ve stayed at hotels nearby and seen the crowds pouring in and out of this place…
finally…came her twice during Grammy weekend.
first time… valeted our car for a reasonable price. had a couple of reasonably priced drinks then headed over to HOB to check out the Big Sean show! woop woop!!!
regrouped back at the Saddle Ranch for more drinks… and snacks. kitchen was closed so we couldn’t order… but the bartendress was so cool and wrangled us up some biscuits and chips that were still in the kitchen… so sweet!!!
a couple days later we did the same…
started with dinner here (it’s really not all that good… but good enough)…i had a chef salad… it was a bit untraditional in its ingredients… but it still tasted good. In fact I called it a darn good Trailer park Cobb… =) (it had sandwich meat rolled up and sliced in it!)…no egg… and no blue cheese (can’t remember what it was… but it wasn’t blue cheese).
meal was topped off with a giant load of cotton candy! wow… my kids would have loved this!!!
service is super friendly… they really want you to ride the bull, which i didn’t not take advantage of… drinks are HUGE… portions are HUGE…
centrally located and ample (valet) parking… prices changed depending on time of day/week…but never a rip off.
