I love sandbags and miss them being right next to me in the village in Westwood. The Navajo is my absolute favorite. The incredible sandbag sandwich is my boyfriends favorite. We love this place.

Food is hit or miss. Coffee is terrible. Woman at the counter is usually a bit rude although very efficient, I’ll give her that. Soup is usually a safe bet but watch out, sometimes it has meat in it and they don’t label it.

Most people who eat here work in the building. I see the same folks day-in and day-out. Its easy and quick; and for days when you can’t leave your desk, they deliver. That being said, if you don’t work in the building, don’t bother. The girl at the counter is rude and needs to smile. Or be polite. Just something to make her seem less grumpy. The food is ok. I wouldn’t rave about it but I can’t complain considering what it is. It seems that the other reviewers share that opinion too. They also only take Visa and Mastercard, which is annoying.

Great prices, good food! Great value for a shop that actually delivers! Thier specials are usually really good!

It’s a solid sandwich shop… simple, yes, but it gets the job done. I actually landed here because I was looking for area sandwich shops that actually have SPROUTS, which is surprisingly(and strangely) rare around here. Sunset Deli down the street(on sunset at Hammond) is better quality, but no sprouts, darn it. They’d do well to upgrade their bread situation, because while the varieties they offer cover all necessary bases, great bread would take them from«gets the job done» to «tasty.»

Yes– It was hard to find, but when I found… man was I delighted. Anyway, good stuff all around from the smoothies to the sandwiches, and finally, the main reason why I go there(maybe even the only reason), their Cheeseburger Tuesdays! It sucks that you can only get burgers or fries on Tuesdays(I have no idea why), but it’s a tradition in my office to go every Tuesday. Basically this place is a cross between a variety of good tasting foods and good prices.

There is only one reason to eat at Sandbags. There is nowhere else to eat in the neighborhood. Well…there’s the little Asian lady who has a candy store in the same building. She sells $ 1 frozen burritos. I choose the burritos. I mean, they taste about as appealing as Sandbags sandwiches, and I save $ 6 in the process. And no waiting. I just don’t get why everyone is so excited about Sandbags. They have sandwiches. The sandwiches have meat and some shredded lettuce, and some bread… the same bread I have at home, actually. I get my bread from Vons. It’s just not really anything special. It’s not some great panini. It’s not some high-quality meat. The cheeses are as creative as American and Provolone and Swiss. It’s utilitarian. But so is a $ 1 frozen burrito.

Sandbag’s is located in the building I work in. Most of my co-workers hate this place, in fact its nickname around the office is «Shit-bags». But I disagree, they have a varied menu and their wraps are awesome, and they have a great selection of gourmet chips, my favorite are the honey-dijon chips… of course when they are in stock. A lot of their sandwiches have cream cheese in them, which I was told is popular in Asian countries, I think it’s strange but good every once in awhile. I recommend Sandbag’s for a quick lunch.

Not much to look at even if you could find it. Try and find them! I dare you, I double dare you! Everyone in my office said I should go next door to Sandbag if I wanted a great sandwich in a hurry. Well sheeze I spent more time looking or this place than I did eating the damn food. There is no sign on the building just a little stanchion in the lobby of the office tower near the elevator. Stay right and follow the lobby all the way to the back then look left past the glass doors. Look for a plain little white room with chalkboard menus and a few white marble bistro tables. The food is great! I had the Ruben today. It was made with a really tasty marbled rye/pumpernickel bread and the crispy cole slaw instead of sauerkraut. The corned beef was excellent. All sandwiches come with one of their homemade chocolate chip cookies! I’m gonna like this place. They mark your order on a menu printed brown paper bag so if you are taking lunch back to co-workers there is no confusion as to who gets what. Sandbag also delivers!(min $ 10 order) The prices are great for what you get and I’d say pretty low for being in Beverly Hills/WeHo. I’m glad I finally found this place!
