They are now closed — In 2005 when I first used Ben and Marcel’s service at SUNIMAGING(brothers who took it over from 2 other brothers when it was back at 8168 W Sunset Blvd — that picture is from their newest location. . before they closed). .. it was *amazing*. At the time the hip ISGO was doing exactly the below reviewer’s complaint — I was upset at ISGO’s green hazed pictures(which means they’re not changing their solution for masses of pictures) and flimsy paper stock for my headshots, so I found SUNIMAGING — In 2005 – 2011SUNIMAGING used thick photo paper(I have it to this day — and can show you if you’d like), and they retouched your photo for free. .(?!) The colors and quality of the picture was mind-blowing, and Ben always recommended(not to mention insisted on) a preview before final copies.(Which I personally never liked as it added more days before receiving my picture, but Ben would insist on to cover their backs /make sure the colors etc were exactly what I was looking for in my pictures.) . I used SUNIMAGING for years afterwards — until 2011 when I didn’t need headshots for a while — I came back this month and saw — this horrible review. . So I stomped-out and drove to Ben/Marcel’s SUNIMAGING to discuss this face-to-face — they were that kind of people. Though strangers to me, I was always frank with them — and they back at me with a great sense of humor sprinkled on top. They pushed for all of my requests every time. Ben was fascinated with the«latest printing» devices, pushing the boundaries to a «perfect picture». . which made me even worried at this bad review… I wanted to hear from their mouths what *&%$ is going on here. .? ?? ? !? I drove to the location(which by the way is 7707 W. Sunset Blvd. that 8168 was their old place). .. and. .. they’re gone. The office is occupied by some other company — Their phone doesn’t answer – I can only fathom that the bad photo’s of the review here on Unilocal are the result of SUNIMAGING not getting enough customers over the years to fund their high tastes — the high printing they always provided /high-end paper /free retouching. .. . and they fizzed-out from lack of people knowing about them. For years they were aces in my book(above ISGO — you name it). . They deserve this review — So people know who they actually were/what they use to do. I’m only really, really bummed, that it’s too late — And now I’m in pieces… Bie bie Sun Imaging:(

Évaluation du lieu : 2 Los Angeles, CA
I ordered headshots here and the staff seemed friendly and helpful so I had high hopes. I believe their normal process is to offer a printed proof before committing to a large batch. But when I went to view my proof, they had already printing a batch of 50 without my approval. And the quality was unexpectedly disappointing for the price(almost $ 100 for 50 prints). The prints are pixelated. Literally, you can see the pixels and looks out of focus. And some of the pixels are the wrong colors. Just random rainbow colors on the print in random places if you look closely. The strangest part is it makes the skin on my chest/neck look bruised and blotchy. The prints are on thin, paper that folds over if you hold it from the edge. It feels like they printed them on photo paper using a laser printer from home. The only reason I give them 2 stars instead of 1 is because it’s my own stupid fault for 1) Not noticing the lack of quality in their office(I thought the poor quality was due to a poor photograph, but then I printed the same photo elsewhere and it looked great), and 2) For not having the balls to call them back and demand a refund. Oh, I’m such a sucker! Don’t be like me.
