David VanWert and his home technology consulting firm are top of the line! David VanWert is an exceptional project manager and electronics guru! I was introduced to David VanWert by my friend, Dean Larkin, who is a top LA based architect and uses David VanWert on many multi-​million dollar projects! The best part of David is that if you so desire, he is not paid by the consumer for his services, but rather by the companies he proffers the work to for bids. I opted for this option in regards to paying for his extensive technological assistance. One also has the option of paying David VanWert directly for his services that may include plans/​drawings!
We decided to build a luxurious in-​home dedicated movie screening room. The process was as follows…
David first drove to our home to interview us as to what we were looking for and our budget range. He then took over as the project manager, calling contractors, taking measurements and photos, and arranging all details and appointments. After obtaining multiple bids, David VanWert sat with us, reviewed all of the bids in great detail, and finally suggested the best company to build our dedicated home theatre! He then took full control and arranged all contractors, sub-​contractors, associated contract signings, meetings by the six man building team, and work schedules. I quickly learned if I had a question or concern, David was the go-​to-​guy who not only handled the concern within hours, but made things happen in an efficient and rapid manner. No task was too difficult! For example, he was able to have released in one hour CAD drawings from a vendor that refused to release his proprietary drawings, except on paper, even after weeks of wrangling by the theatre contractor! I called David when I found out that there was a problem, and he handled it faster than I could whistle a tune form Lady Gaga!
David VanWert is extremely knowledgeable about all home and corporate electronic needs from the simplest of lights, wireless light controls, electrical wiring, and the most complicated technology applications! He is like an encyclopedia of technology expertise! He even graciously gave us thirty minutes of his time to set up our home stereo system that two other professionals (one was one of those Geek guys and the other was an electrical engineer/​electrician) could not figure out what was causing two sets of outdoor speakers to not have volume.
David VanWert is very professional, friendly, able to coordinate multiple genres of professionals (which is not an easy task), and respond to the smallest of concerns! I could not recommend him more highly, especially for the fee, i.e., $ 0! Yeow!
