Most ghetto dodgy place I have been too, felt like someone was about to come in with an uzi and spray the few«ghetto“people inside there. Sad as I’m Australian and wanted to love this place. I heard it will be closing. Last time I came was on Australia day party, packed and fun, went there this past Thursday night, wtf happened? Oh and the so called owner kept saying he doesn’t do drugs and then said I was an undercover cop… Really? Sad, empty, dodgy, felt like a place in Compton not the Strip. Don’t see this place staying open.

This spot is cool, you can definitely get your boogie on, I don’t know about the rest of the menu but these sorry ass french fries is over priced. $ 5 for this.

Made a reservation for my birthday for 8:30 pm, we all show up and the place was closed. … we had to find a new place for 10 people at short notice.

I went for a private event downstairs. I loved the downstairs/patio the most but the stairs are just waiting to kill someone. luckily with such a large group, many women in dresses and heels and an open bar, no one fell or got hurt but we were all extra careful. The stairs are long, steep, high steps made of a concrete type material. The top one is chipped. The upstairs was fairly spacious but needed something more in the décor. The Dj was great so I danced alone a few times as there weren’t that many dancers. The bartenders seemed very nice. It’s in a crazy spot on sunset strip for sure but it’s a nice lounge I’d love to go back to.

Came here for a birthday get-together. The place looks small from the outside, but once you walk in, you find that the place is actually a lot bigger. There’s a bar as soon as you walk in, and on the night I visited, there was an indie band playing originals and covers indoors. Once I walked past that area and out to the back, there was a small hip hop concert going on. The vibe is hipster, but very chill. The drinks are good. The music can be a bit too loud at times, but if you can enjoy the genre that’s playing in your area, it’s all goodie~!

Food came out late, cold, missing items from the plate that come with the meal. There was a large event but that is not an excuse for the service to be crap. If you can’t manage a floor during a large event you shouldn’t serve food. When asked for the manager it took the waitress 20 minutes to locate him because she didn’t know where he was. The staff seemed stressed out, and I felt bad for them. Again, bad staffing and management of a large event, ill prepared establishment. Once the manager was found, he basically brushed us off while we were still talking, and proceeded to walk away. Very rude when trying to speak your concerns to him. Would I come here again? Hell no. Go somewhere else if you want good drinks and food. I’m giving this place 1 star because the manager/owner comped our main meals before then brushing us off. Again, bad management of a large event.

There’s one word for this place, ghetto. My friend had a party there last night and though I thoroughly enjoyed the company, the establishment left much to desired. Where do I begin? The service, hands down worst I’ve ever had in LA(which is saying a lot in a town where most of the servers are frustrated actors just paying the bills). There were people lined up waiting for drinks while one of the bartenders was giving the other one a neck massage! I was in shock. When I confronted him about it he refused to serve me which was actually a life saver because it gave me an excuse to leave and go across the street to Bar Marmont. The décor? It seemed was compiled of items someone scavenged from the street. The curtain rods are PVC pipe, the metal ones were pieced together with duct tape. The lighting from the kitchen illuminated the bar with harsh fluorescent industrial light never mind the outdated track lighting in other areas that would’ve been better suited in a manufactured home from the 1980’s. The TV above the bar was old and made everything on it look bizarre and green. The outdoor patio was ok despite the furniture from Big Lots. Definitely not reason enough to go there, I have a backyard patio that’s much nicer. I didn’t try the food. But I did go to the taco place next door, I’m pretty certain I avoided disappointment in doing so. This place is literally the end of the line on the Sunset Strip. If you’re looking for good service and an upscale atmosphere take my advice and avoid this place at all costs.

This place advertised on their Sunday night comedy line — up that a certain celebrity would be joining them. It didn’t seem completely out of the ordinary that John Mayer might show up. His name & photo was on their Twitter account ad graphic and his name on their sandwich board outside when we got there. We should have known when we sat down right in front, and the place had maybe 15 people in it, that we had been duped. Some little comic named«Benji» got up and said he was«John Mayer», and proceeded with a mediocre comedy routine. We decided to suck it up, since we had already ordered food and drinks, and try to enjoy the show. The comics went from mediocre to awful. We tried to gracefully leave after a while, and were offered free drink coupons in order to stay longer and see the last three comics. It was pretty bad. Three stars because besides being totally let down by their false advertising(how do they get away with that?!), the servers were very attentive and helpful, and the food was delicious & hot. We had nachos and potstickers, but be warned, plan on eating the nachos with a fork. :)

What a great place to have a birthday party! The owner, Claire, is the sweetest, most accommodating host ever and made my whole experience very pleasant. I initially chose this place from the pics on Unilocal – it looked so light and airy compared to the dark, vintage-y bars I’d been considering. I had the whole back room of the lounge, which has two big open windows and looks out onto a lower-level patio. The french fries(regular and sweet potato) are my favorite. They have a bunch of dif dips to go with them. My friend ordered the House Nachos and they were enough to share. The Sriracha mac and cheese balls are amazing. I ordered well drinks just because I was there for so many hours, but my bf tried the peanut butter rum cocktail and that was delicious. I forgot to try The Elegance! Next time. The only reason I’m giving this place 4 stars is parking in that general area is a nightmare. Totally not a problem if you can Lyft or Über because you’re close – but if you have friends coming from farther away, just warn them. It’s best to be mentally prepared for such parking tribulations.

Nice spot to hang at. We came here to watch our friends perform. It was nice little venue to be at. We ordered fries but they didn’t have ketchup:/ that’s a no no. Saw a worker walk in with a bag of chips from the store to serve a customer… that was weird. They weren’t prepared for people? We didn’t order drinks but bartender was sweet and kept my water filled the whole time! Good job!

I’m so sorry… but what a joke :/ My boyfriend and I just left the«Dinner with a Ghost» event which we bought $ 150 per person tickets a few weeks ago. Here’s my recap of the night… First of all, from the very get go, it was evident that these folks do not have their shit together. I don’t even know where to begin… The décor is disjunct, bathrooms are not tidy or stocked and the chairs are uncomfortable. The event started at 9 and we were not seated until 9:45. This all leads me to believe they are unorganized as an establishment. The food? Well… it started out somewhat promising with a winter squash soup. It was tasty and garnished with bacon, unfortunately I had a huge chunk of bacon in mine that was impossible to cut with my spoon. And, I’m sorry, you just can’t stick your knife in your soup at a somewhat formal dinner party. Second, we were served a green salad with tomatoes, cheese and figs. Nothing to cheer or complain about with this dish. Third, was some shrimp and crap… ops i mean crab… dish. The shrimp was warm in not a nice way and was served crab and lettuce that didn’t make a lot of sense. They had an overpowering mayonnaise dressing that I would expect in a cafeteria. Fourth, OMG… this dish was a JOKE!!! I wouldn’t serve this at my dinner table on a Tuesday night! It was overcooked, unintentional mahi mahi jerky served over 1″ sliced vegetables of severely under cooked disappointment. The dish was lacking a sauce or any sort of seasoning. The other guests at the table seemed confused by this dish as well, shooting each other glances and awkwardly navigating their plates. This dish was truly the first big indication of things to come. The fifth and sixth dishes were uncreative inbred cousins. Both were a small piece of meat served over pureed squash. First we had a piece of pork belly over winter squash. Then a small piece of lamb over pureed sweet potato. Both dishes lacked seasoning, flavor, proper cooking on the meat and creative presentation. Lastly, we had«dessert» which was also a JOKE! Holy crap! Really really they just put a bit of chopped up fruit(not even sure if it was all fresh) over a huge plump of cool whip. Nothing creative or unique or even intriguing about this one. I took one bite and left it at that. No reason at all to continue. SOIFTHEFOODWASN’T BADENOUGH!!! HERE’S THEKICKER… In the description of the event it said our tickets included ***drinks*** not drink. So it was hugely disappointing when at the end we received a hefty bill for our drinks. Which, by the way, they ran out of the beers we were ordering, twice. They also didn’t close down the bar portion of the restaurant for the event so it was very noisy which was not conducive at all for paranormal investigation, which I personally am not a big believer in, but it should have been quite for spooky effect… not with drunk shouting ons going on in the background. This will go down as a good inside joke about being completely disappointed by service and experience between my boyfriend and me. It’s a good thing we have a good sense of humor :) But seriously… there are so many more promising places in the area, your money and time are probably better spent…

Very cool spot. I’m not sure how it is on the weekends or at night but when we came(around 7pm on a Sunday), it was dead. Only a few other people there. We didn’t mind though. The people working there were super friendly and took great care of us. The cocktails were great and the food wasn’t bad. They have a great happy hour also. We arrived at the end of it so we put in a few orders for drinks and food. — The kiwi cocktail(don’t remember the name) was tasty. I couldn’t taste much kiwi but I can tell it was in there. — Moscow mule: good — Lychee cocktail(also don’t remember what they called it) was very good — Mussels: fresh. The red sauce it was cooked in was also interesting, yet good. — Salt and pepper squid: it was good. Not a very big portion but I’m sure the non happy hour order is bigger. The dipping sauce they served with it was also awesome! — Mini fish n chips: not very impressive. The fish was tasteless unless you dipped in a lot of sauce and the fries were all soft/soggy. — Chips and dips: it was okay. Not sure what the red dipping sauce was but it wasn’t bad. The hummus dip was a little hard though and it wasn’t very easy dipping the pita/tortilla chips in it. Overall it was a very cool place. I’m glad we went and I look forward to going at night so I can get a better feel of the vibe. The interior is very nice and loungey so it would be great for a big group or birthday party. The outdoor area in the back also looks like it would have a great scene at night. Parking: good luck! I wouldn’t recommend driving there since parking will be tough to find

Listened to some great live music and enjoyed a delicious Blackberry Sour on a beautiful Tuesday night! This is a cool spot on Sunset Blvd for a weekday adventure. It looks small from the outside, but there is a lot of space in the back room, and there is also an outdoor patio. We arrived around 9pm, and found two open stools at the bar. We got there just before the crowd, so we were able to order our drinks right away. The bartender was a cool guy. My only issue was with the $ 5 cheeseburger special. A cheeseburger and fries for $ 5! A steal, right? No, actually, not at all. We really did get what we paid for. The fries were blah, and the burger was literally, just a plain, thin bun, and a patty(no lettuce, no veggies, no nothing). It was the type of burger you might get at a friend’s BBQ. Quite disappointing. Fortunately, the live music made up for this mean trick Vaucluse played on us. Street Parking = No fun.

Fun dance space! I went here for a birthday party and this is definitely a great venue for a celebration. Vaucluse Lounge was originally Charlie Chaplin’s house! It has the set up of a cute house that descends into a patio area for smoking. It normally has a cover but since I went for a birthday part I just said her name and everyone got in for free. The music was great! There were several rotating DJ’s throughout the night and the music was mostly hip hop. The DJ’s also kept the crowd going with shout outs and an overall good vibe. Vaucluse Lounge is on the smaller side and with a high-energy crowd this pace does get hot fast! I do think the dance floor could benefit from a fan or a strong AC but we just went outside on the patio or got water. Fun night!

Its as hot as fuck in here. Its really disorganized and people are running around like chickens with their heads cut off. They dont have their own parking. Here thats a huge thing. If you dont know parking here is slightly easier than winning a Noble prize. The place itself looks nice and the people seem friendly but I dont think it will last.

I attended a meetup(Wine and Dine with Doggies) held at this location. What a treat to be able to bring my dog into a lounge. I don’t know if they had made an exception for our group or if dogs are allowed inside on a regular basis. If you’re planning on taking your dog, call ahead. Either way it was fun to walk in with my pooch. The décor is really nice and they have a date worthy patio. I didn’t sit there but I look forward to doing so soon during a different visit. I dressed up and wore heels because I believed the location was dressy/trendy– the other guests were not as dressed up so maybe the location is more relaxed than I expected? The waitress was pretty attentive to our group. I ordered a cocktail(The Charlie Sheen) and liked it but was not blown away. I also ordered the chips and dip from their happy hour menu because I wasn’t too hungry but wanted something to munch on. I was not very impressed hence the 4stars. To be fair I have not tried their food so I will have to come back and try something before giving them a fair assessment. Maybe I’ll update to five stars at some point but I generally keep five star reviews for locations that blow me away. For a Saturday evening the place was really empty but it was early so maybe they get busier later? If you’re coming here to meet other young hip people, you’re in the wrong place. but If you’re trying to find a quiet place unlike most of Hollywood and you’re looking for a more secluded dinner with a date then you’ve made the right choice. Be prepared to pay 12 – 20 dollars for parking in the area.

Ideal for a birthday party with a large group! My bestie just had her birthday party here on Monday night. With very little time to plan, she was able to pull off a wonderful birthday celebration! In general, it’s really hard to find a bar, lounge, restaurant that will accommodate a birthday crew of 25+ people. Thanks to the team here for taking care of us. She was a very happy birthday girl!

Came here during the weekend and it was dead granted it was little bit early but still. Considering only one other table was there service was slow and the food took forever to come out. Also when we asked for something it took us asking twice to get things. The food wasn’t worth the money especially the pizza. On the upside the bartender was nice and made good drinks.
