For years, my dad bought a dozen bagels from this place every Sunday morning. The bagels either came in two varieties: overcooked and chewy, or mushy and raw. The muffins were often raw as well, many mornings being spoiled by biting into a chocolate chip muffin only to have a mouth full of liquid raw batter. One day my dad got Higbie Bagels instead, and we have never looked back. These are the worst bagels I have ever eaten. You’re better off getting your bagels in a grocery store freezer section.

I like the bagels and sandwiches here but there’s one thing they do that bugs me to no end. All of the staff wears those clear plastic food service gloves. Problem is, they never take them off. They handle money, boxes and food all with the gloves on. The only thing those gloves are protecting is their own hands. For the love of God, either use the gloves in a manner that makes them useful or be honest and just grab things with your bare hands.
Edit: They still do it and don’t seem to care. I am done with this place.
