Mike’s Pizza

Tried Mike’s for the first time last night and very disappointed. I work at a large company in West Jeff and we order food pretty much every day of the week. First off, the woman who took our order over the phone was very rude. We had 3 different orders with 3 different payments and she acted like it was then end of the world. They also charged us three separate delivery fees to bring all of the food to the same place. When the delivery driver showed up, he was also very rude. I noticed that they charged the wrong cards for incorrect orders and got a «there’s nothing we can do about it now». After he left, we realized they gave us extra food we didn’t order, and didn’t give us food that we did order (and paid for). Food was average, but not worth all that hassle. We’ll stick with Bambinos.

The first time here was really freakin’ good.
The second time here… was really freakin’ bad.
The pizza wasn’t cooked through. The bottom was done, but the top of the crust was still doughy. What really killed it for me was that there was just WAY too much sauce. There was so much sauce this pizza could not be eaten with your hands, but seriously, after two small corner pieces of this pizza… that was enough for me. The sauce came off as really cheap… like something you can buy for your boboli pizza at Krogers.
The subs were pretty boring, sub par and mostly sub bun.
Terrible.
The service wasn’t much to write home about either.
Telling me «Next time ask for light sauce.» And hearing some guy in the back get all pissed, because I didn’t like their pizza. Is not really helpful, or great customer service. Maybe you should address the issue with the person who’s incompetent at making pizzas in the back, because this pizza tasted NO WHERE near what I expected from Mike’s based on past visits.
At this point. I don’t even know if I’d like the recommend the place.
The people behind us had pizza that looked absolutely amazing, so why did we get the skunky-​ass pizza of the night?

Average at best. Very stingy with their toppings. Cheese was almost non existent. Mushrooms were scarce. Crust was okay hot, but as it cooled became very leathery and chewy. This was my first time here. Probably won’t be back. Edible but not yummy.

Wow, wow, wow!!! Amazing pizza. I must say this place took me by major surprise. I’d like to try something new but every time I come here, the pizza is too good to turn down. Give this place a try sometime.

First visit to Mike’s Pizza tonight. Italian sub is pretty good and the price was good too. Will be back to try the pizza soon. They have coupons in the store so I will be back with one of theses for sure !

Excellent pizza. Dough is fresh. Pizza sauce is not sweet. Crust is perfect… toppings are super fresh. The cheese is very tasty. It beats Donato’s or any other Central Ohio pizza shop. I HIGHLY recommend it.

Check this place out. I did. And I’m glad I did. It’s well made. Flavor profile is very good. All the flavors go together. I got the old world pepperoni on it. It gets crispy. Creamy tasting provolone cheese and they don’t work the dough to death. Somewhere between a flyers and tammy’s pizza if you want to compare it to something… but it’s own thing and very tasty. just for some context — I like all kinds of pizza… and consider Columbus to be pizza wasteland — because I prefer NY Style pizza. But Columbus has many different types of pizzas to choose from. You wouldn’t waste your money at Mike’s if you are in the area. And as a small business they need customers and I’m sure they’d appreciate it. Looking forward to trying their subs. Oh yeah, and the pizza was good and hot and not overcooked. just right.
