Kmart

Ever since I moved in this area a little over 2 years ago, this has been one of the worst places I have ever shopped at for anyone. Everyone just stands skins talking and take forever to their job. I’ve did at the customer service desk for several minutes waiting for two females to finish their conversation. The cashiers are incredibly rude and have constant conversations with the other cashiers, very loudly and take their dear sweet time. Everything is very outdated and what should be white is yellow. Probably not their fault, but everything is very overpriced. The parking lot is always almost completely empty, and it’s for a reason. It’s such an unpleasant shopping experience that my parents and I won’t even go there at Christmas when they have their big sales.

$$ for Kmart? Maybe compared to the Dollar Store but yeah, i got some pretty good deals here!

I had gone home and I couldn’t find an item i bought. I thought I had left something at the counter at Kmart and went back to look for it. I didn’t find it but the store clerk gave me a refund for the items anyway.
1) I really appreciated how trusting they were… so I went in a bought some more items that I needed even though they may be somewhat cheaper elsewhere.
2) When I found the missing item at home, I returned it to them.
— Had some very cute baby items (for my coworkers and friends who recently had babies)
— Rewards points can be earned when you sign up
— Great rewards coupons online and when you combine them with their sales, you can get some really unbeatable deals!
— Great sales! When things are on sale here, they are ON SALE.
1) I bought some really nice bikes at about 40% off!
2) Then all their accessories were perhaps 50% off or more!
3) Also bought some really nice comfortable sandals for $ 3!
4) I also bought a nice couch/​sectional here for 40% off!
Con’s:
— Clothes items don’t seem very nice or to have good fit.
— The outside of the store looks very drab/​boring like its counterpart Sears
— The inside of the store also looks very drab/​boring. It could learn from Sears (the Jordan Landing one) which looks very modern inside.
— Bad location… there’s nothing within walking distance except for Home Depot.

Do not let the old, non-​updated exteriors fool you! Went here for the first time today and was really impressed.
From the outside, the store looks old but the store inside is clean, the staff friend and deals are great!
We bought 2 bikes online last night and picked them up this morning. The deal on the bike was amazing and it’s what brought us to Kmart! We rode the bikes home and came back to buy a bunch of other stuff for the house. They have great deals that you can’t find elsewhere!
1. saved by buying online and picked up at the store – there are lots of online coupons
2. bikes: great selection of bikes and accessory for a fraction of the price elsewhere.
3. sports section: large selection and again, very great deals! You definitely cannot find such good deals elsewhere
4. very friendly and nice staff at the customer service
5. currently have a huge sale on their winter items
6. Great selection of jewelry – got my stud earrings 70% off – yay!
7. Great selection on garden seeds – everything was 40% less than what you would pay at walmart or elsewhere
Tips:
1. bring our smartphone to check reviews for the items you buy. Sometimes it’s such a great discount, you wonder if they’re good or not. Use it to filter out the ones with bad amazon review
2. shop online and pick up at the store – be sure to use promo codes online
3. sign up for their rewards points – it’s worth it.
Highly recommend for those who are looking for deals on sports, jewelry, or off-​season clothes.

I’m always surprised when I see a Kmart. I remember their glory days. The days when a blue light special meant something. But these days, the Kmarts I go into make me a little sad.
This is a perfectly respectable Kmart. There’s plenty of parking outside and it’s not too worn down or old school on the inside. But it’s just. quiet. You know, like it’s quite possible I may start coming to work there with my laptop when a coffee shop gets too loud. I’ll just set up in the patio furniture section and go for it.
The only exception is Black Friday. It’s no Best Buy (read: the place where crazy people line up with the smell of Thanksgiving dinner still on their breath) but it’s packed on Black Friday with dealseekers.
Here’s the upside. Kmart carries Snuggies (or at least did very recently) and I’m 99% sure I’ve seen the Shake Weight here. If not, my apologies for those of you I’ve led astray. So, it’s a great place for your «As Seen On TV» merchandise. Yay?

Hmm… well nothing particularly outstanding about this place. Nothing I really wanted to buy. Just a sub-​par store that sells basic retail for home accessories. Can have some deals every now and then though that are worth checking out but other than that there is nothing too exciting about this place.
