David was very personable, professional and articulate. His fee is $ 50 for a chimney/​fireplace inspection which is $ 0 if a customer ends up needing repairs and using him for them. One thing I liked about David is that he documents very thoroughly what needs to be done by using the camera on his iPhone to show the customer what is really going on. This is important since the customer is not likely to get up on the roof to see it firsthand.
The documentation gives the customer the assurance that the recommended repairs are truly necessary. David also takes photos of the completed work so the customer can actually see the quality of the work that was done.
Another thing I liked about David is that he keeps you posted, by phone, to let you know when he’s going to be there to do the work.
All in all, David did great work at a reasonable price. I would highly recommend him to our neighbors.
