Burgers and fries are $ 5 on Monday nights. The burgers were decent and the fries were delicious. No complaints! I had a good experience.

Went here a few times during my senior year at Purdue. Never had a bad experience here, and always had satisfactory service. The food is quite good, including the wings(sauces are great) and the few burgers me and my friends have tried have all been exceptional. I’m extremely happy that a location like this opened on this side of campus, as it is the only location that can serve alcohol near the football and basketball stadiums! Keep up the good work!

Meh… that’s pretty much how I would put it. The location is great with its proximity to sporting events but the food was mediocre at best. Hubby had chicken tacos and I had a fried chicken salad. The chicken on my salad was literally the chicken tenders from the regular dinner. Not even cut up… and…I didn’t think it was possible to over cook chicken tenders and not be completely burnt. Ig is very possible… they were horribly dry and no amount of ranch dressing was going to help them. The grilled chicken on the hubs tacos were also really dry but not to the extent of mine. We had chips and queso as an app. It was fine(nothing special). Hunters is MUCH better and will probably be our go to from now on before games.

We came here as part of a party of 9(made a reservation) and our server did a pretty good job of taking everyone’s drink and food orders, although she didn’t come back much to check on us. Our food came out in a few rounds that were a bit separated, so it seems the kitchen isn’t very well equipped to handle larger orders. Hubby and I both got flat breads. His was topped with crazy veggies. Comparatively, mine looked sort of sad with only one pepperoni per slice of flat bread. It tasted good, though. They had great beer deals for a Friday night — $ 4 tall domestics. Will definitely go back to try a burger.

Sports bar with decent food on the north side of campus. I liked my food enough to come back again. The atmosphere really lends itself to casually hanging out so don’t try to have a study group meeting here or anything.

I loved this place! We had a group of 8 on a fairly busy weekend just before the spring semester started, but service was still great and food came out in a timely manner. I ordered the veggie pizza flatbread which was delicious and huge! I could only eat half of it and took the rest to go. Many of my friends had the Hawaiian burger which they also commended. Be sure to try the fries – they are to die for! Parking is behind the restaurant so you have to walk around the building and through Wang Hall in order to get to the front. It’s kinda inconvenient but what can you do when you have such a great location right across from EE?

We pregamed a basketball game at The Pickle the other day and it was our first time trying it out. It was packed and the wait was an hour. We were allowed to stand by the bar and drink beers while people were seated. There was plenty of room, the service was great and there were plenty of TVs to keep us entertained! We then found a seat at the bar and ordered some food. We got wings and some other apps. They came rather quickly for how crowded it was. The food was phenomenal! I would recommend The Pickle to anyone who is looking to pregame a sporting event. Just be sure to get there early if you want to sit.

I was surprised to see that this restaurant got such a bad review. I had the Beam Burger and really enjoyed it. I went with a large group immediately after we submitted a project, it was at about 8 pm and wasn’t crowded so we were seated relatively quickly. Our waitress was good, although she seemed surprised when we actually ordered food(none of us had eaten dinner yet).

I’m so sad to see such bad reviews about this place because it’s honestly not bad. My boyfriend and I went for a late lunch(around 2:30) on a Friday afternoon and the place was busy, but not packed. We waited a couple of minutes before we were seated, but our whole experience was great. Most of the posts here are about how poor the service was, and we encountered the opposite. Our servers’ name was Marcus and he was fabulous. He was attentive, took our order, refilled our water, came at an appropriate time to give the check and ask for dessert. The food was average, but to be expected of a restaurant/bar. My boyfriend, however really enjoyed the fish tacos. I ordered the burger wing combo with a hangover burger and the Asian wings. It’s a good portion of food for the cost(11.99) but the wings are just average as well as the fries, and I wish they toasted the bun for the burger but all in all it was a good experience.

I was at Purdue this weekend for homecoming and as my friend and I walked back from the stadium we needed a pick me up. Stacked Pickle caught our eye because we were surprised to see the new building on campus and curiosity got the better of us. Sad to see so many bad reviews when its exciting to see new bars and restaurants opening across campus. As soon as we walked in were were impressed on how nicely and fun it was decorated. We really liked the Boilermaker Special mural towards the back on the red brick wall. We wanted to sit at the bar but that was full so we took a high top. We had a really nice server who gave us some good recommendations for drinks. I had the People’s Pumpkin and really enjoyed it. My friend ordered Bloody Marys’ and said they were good as well. We didn’t really order full meals since we just wanted to snack between lunch and dinner. I got the fried pickles and my friend ordered boneless buffalo wings. When the order was brought out they brought us bone-in wings. When we mentioned that we actually ordered boneless they made sure our order came out even though we insisted it was ok and that we would have the bone-in order anyways. It was great that they were so on-top of fixing our order. I sincerely hope that they do well in West Lafayette. This is a great addition for students at Purdue.

The one star is a gift. I went to The Stacked Pickle for an adult beverage on Homecoming Saturday, at 10:45, prior to the12:00 football game. Since this bar is the closest to the stadium, logic might indicate they could anticipate being busy. We were seated quickly by a very friendly hostess, in the bar, where only 3 other tables were occupied(one was a large group). There were 4 servers, a bartender and a managerial person on the floor. We waited 15 minutes till I flagged down the managerial person. Then the drinks arrived quickly, but there was a problem with one of them. I waited another 10 minutes for a different server to appear. I asked for a different drink and the check, as it was now 11:40. The check arrived accompanied by the comment, your drink will be right up. Even the smallest gratuity was unwarranted for such crappy service. May I suggest a Customer Service course, offered by the University right across the street? Although with a customer service protocol like the one you are currently using, I doubt you will be in business at 2nd semester.

After looking at their webpage we had high hopes. But the reality was disappointing. The service while friendly was extremely slow. I think they forgot about us after we were seated. The staff was gathered in 3 or 4 small groups chatting among themselves as we sat and waited for some service. After what felt like forever but was probably 20 min I managed to make eye contact with an employee and he sent someone over to take our drink order. Since we had plenty of time to look at the menu we just placed our whole order. When we finally got our food it was quite unremarkable. The fried pickles were ok but not noteworthy. The fries were subpar and the burgers were over cooked and dry even though we asked for medium. The onion rings tasted more like what you would expect from a place like Burger King. I did like the bacon on my burger that was the only thing they did right. There are way too many good places to eat in this category in town to waste our time and money at a mediocre place like this.

Stacked Pickle offers select burgers for $ 5 on Monday, so I thought it would be a good time to give them a try. I ordered the Big Pickle burger with fries. The food was nothing special. The burger was dry(even though I ordered it medium) and lacked flavor. The bun was flimsy and not toasted. The fries were from a bag. I’m glad I didn’t pay the regular menu price for my meal. The service was good, our waitress was friendly and on top of things. However, I don’t plan a return visit, as there are better places in town. The menu here is nothing special, although I imagine this location will do okay since it is located on a side of campus that doesn’t have anything similar.

I usually don’t post reviews but felt this was necessary as I have never had such bad service from anywhere. After waiting about 10 minutes after being seated to even have our waiter come and take our drink order, we waited a good 15 minutes for our drinks. He came over to the table and said«I’ll check on those drinks for you.» then proceeded to go to two different tables full of people and take their orders while we were still waiting. He came with our drinks and rudely said«Sorry about that I’ll have them discount the appetizer or something…» We got our appetizer platter and he was long gone, so we asked the host who was walking by for two small plates for our appetizers. She said sure, then went back to the host stand and continued seating people. So we waited a few minutes then asked another waitress for two small plates and told her we asked the host who do anything and out waitress was missing. She laughed then got us the plates. Our waiter took 2 dollars off our 11 dollar appetizer. I’d literally would have had my drinks faster if I drove to the liquor store, picked out the ingredients, waited in line to checkout, drive back home, and make my own drinks. I swear they could have hired monkeys with more restaurant experience.
