Sunday brunch buffet is the best in town! A bit pricey but a steal of you take advantage of the $ 1 Mimosas and Bloody Mary’s! It’s also in a beautiful location.

Went for Sunday brunch. Must say it is the best in the area. Don’t waste your time with main st wine and cheese. These guys here had everything ready their servers were a step ahead of me and the food was more than anyone could eat. Again this place on Sunday is a can’t miss. We will be back again and again

I’ve been to The Trails many times for various events. It’s a catering business but they host a Sunday brunch every week. My most recent experience was not the best. The chicken was over-marinated and had that over-tenderized texture. Others in our group complained about the chicken as well. The service was prompt and very attentive. NOTE: There used to be a Friday night brunch but that is no longer offered. A few groups of people tried to crash our catered dinner but turned around as quick as they could when they realized they were in the wrong place, providing some interesting pre-dinner entertainment we had not counted on. The Sunday Brunch is good, with lots of food choices — salad bar, carved meats, crêpe and omelet stations, lots of desserts. You can eat breakfast, lunch or both if you are so inclined. The atmosphere reflects the name — wood paneling, exposed wood beams and rafters, and fireplaces. There are three or four ooms of different sizes depending on how big of a group you have. I have not myself booked an event there so I don’t know if the pricing is reasonable. I would consider holding an event here although the food is pretty average.

This is one of the better places to have your wedding reception in West Lafayette. I’ve been to several receptions here, and I usually have a great time. Bartenders are nice, staff is helpful. The food isn’t all that great, but it also depends what the bride and groom choose. The venue itself is very pretty. They string lights on the wood banisters and the ceiling looks like it has been doused in glitter. It makes for a fun and beautiful wedding.

This is a review of the Sunday brunch at Trails: Overall I like the Trails. Although their Sunday brunch doesn’t blow me away, it is a pretty solid offering. For about $ 15 you get access to an omelet bar, salad bar, desert bar, buffet line including both breakfast and lunch items, a carving station with several different meats, and a crêpe station. Also included with your meal is your drink. There is even a bar where you can get mimosas and bloody Mary’s. None of the items offered are bad, but there are a few that stand out. Don’t miss their chicken salad, carved turkey, and carrots… definitely don’t miss the carrots.

The Trails is a banquet facility. The weekend buffets have lots of options, all processed, bland, overcooked and full of preservatives. Pretty location for a wedding reception, but I’d skip the pricey buffets.
