Kordell’s Produce

Kordell’s is THE BOMB! Their produce is the best available and they’ll even recommend one type of peach over the other, for example, if one is better. Their service and friendliness and knowledge can’t be beat. All of the veggies starts are so well-​taken care of that by the time I get them into my garden, they grow like crazy. They also provide tons of knowledge about veggie and plant care. You need to go here. You won’t be sorry!

It’s a haul for anyone not in West Linn, Tigard or Lake Oswego. Just out of downtown LO, it’s still has that country feel, surrounded by rolling hills.
We know our seasons by Kordells. It’s an incredible nursery + produce stand with exceptional, helpful service and knowledgeable staff.
EAT OVER THE SINK PEACHES. Yes. We bought those. Dozens of them.
LOCALLY GROWN CANTALOUPE. You belong on my breakfast table.
Great spot to plan a garden as well. Tons of healthy starts in many variety, and the staff really really knows the temperament of each plant. Highly recommend.

I have a 20 foot square garden at Luscher Farm and always drop by Kordell’s to get some of their fresh produce. All of which are great. Their white peaches are not just «eat over the sink» but «eat in the shower» delicious. Juicy, sweet, and down right wonderful.

I’ve driven past this place with curiosity peaked on many an occasion, taking the secret back road home from work when I-​205 is a clogged up angryland.
Generally, I’m in such a hurry to get home and as far away from the freeway as possible, I’m not thinking to stop in for some plant & produce browsing.
But, the other day, the weather was great and the birds were singing and the sign finally got me.
«AWESOME CORN!» it said.
I bought 5 ears for $ 5, then threw in a thing of tomatoes and a couple of nectarines while I was at it. The tomatoes were the flavor of tomatoes you grow at home. All crazy-​looking and mismatched because they’re heirloom, and so, so good. I ate the whole thing that night.

The corn, as advertised, was indeed AWESOME. A friend who ate a cob with me said it was like buttered candy on a stick.
The people were super friendly, and by the time I left there, I’d forgotten all about the freeway and the work, and all that troublesome nonsense. It’s amazing what workaday ails an excellent produce stand can cure.

Best produce in Oregon! If you are looking for the tastiest fruits and vegetables that can be found in all of Oregon, look no further. Worth the drive and the slightly higher prices than others. When you bite into your favorite dish made from their produce you will taste where the extra dollar or two went.
