A FANTASTICMEAL! We were looking for an all-you-can eat Brazilian bbq without venturing to Newark or the city, and decided to give this a try. It was a great experience. We chose the option with the skirt steak & beef tips and it was definitely the way to go. Our favorite cuts were unanimously the skirt steak, garlic top sirloin, beef ribs, and the chicken leg. All the choices were well seasoned, tender, and delicious. Although we stuffed ourselves on enough meats to get the sweats, all four of us agreed that the fried bananas(not plantains, bananas) were just as amazing and couldn’t stop eating them. But it didn’t stop there. Just as we had thrown in the flag and couldn’t stand to eat another bite of meat, we all regrouped and asked for the dessert menu; and boy were we glad we did! What we ordered next was just the perfect finale to a great meal. We had the coconut flan and the passion fruit mousse. I can’t wait to go back just to try the other desserts! The flan was creamy, smooth, and had the most amazing coconut crust. But the passion fruit mousse took the cake! So creamy and just the right amount of tart! I just want to eat this everyday. I want to bathe in it. As if the food wasn’t good enough, the service and hospitality of the staff was how every restaurant could only dream of being. Everyone was so nice, attentive, and friendly. We felt like we were waited on by everyone in the restaurant. Our head server even took the time to come and chat with us after our meal. When we left, all of the staff thanked and greeted us. How could I not write a review for this place? If you have any sense, you will go to this wonderful restaurant and meet these wonderful people. Thank you, Rodeio Grill! Can’t wait to see you again!

Pior comida de todas!!! Pedi bife a milanesa e a carne veio toda oleosa, cheio de nervos, a banana frita com muita gordura, e o feijão seco. Longe de ser uma churrascaria descente. Pior $ 20 gasto!!! NÃORECOMENDO.

Pretty good. The garlic steak was choked perfectly, the pork was solid, and the chicken was delicious. Only three stars because the bacon wrapped filet was a little tough and the brisket was dry. Overall I’d say it was really good for the price.

We chose Rodeio Grill based on favorable reviews on Unilocal as well a other sites. We were talking a Brazilian couple we had befriended out as a treat to them as well as to try Brazilian food for the first time ourselves. I must say that, not only were we extremely pleased, but the Brazilian couple were in heaven, saying that the food was better than that which they had had in Newark from restaurants that touted having the best Brazilian BBQ outside of Brazil! The meats were tender, perfectly seasoned, and plentiful! The beans were delicious with a hint of bay leaf, the fried bananas… yummmm! The service was fantastic! It felt like dining in a familiar Brazilian home! Everyone was so welcoming and kind! Overall, we had a wonderful time and our Brazilian friends couldn’t thank us enough for their taste of home, vowing to return again and again!

Sea food stew is very good. The fish is soft & the soup is very testy. Wish I could take a picture before eating but sorry, it was too tasty to stop. I

I just ate here today along with 2 other co-workers and was not happy with the service. The food was OK. There were 2 choices when it came to the all you can eat menu with the different cuts of meat. One choice enables you to eat a variety of meats, including different cuts of beef, at around $ 24.00. The other choice was just beef for $ 28.00. Since I wanted the variety, I opted for the first choice. I happen to be Muslim. They brought around various cuts of pork, and or pork wrapped chicken. Either way, I couldn’t have it, but I did have some chicken. I had some chicken and was able to eat the beef cuts. The other waiter came around again asking if anyone at the table had wanted seconds, and I said I would like the top sirloin again. Well, when the check came around, it showed that I had made the second choice rather than the first. I immediately questioned the waiter about this change because I knew I had not made it. I was told that because I had eaten mostly the beef cuts, the choice I had made was changed for me. But I had to ask to find out as the waiter didn’t say anything to me. While $ 4 isn’t a big deal, I really didn’t like how they tried to slip that order change onto the check and not explain it until I asked. I’ve eaten at plenty of other Brazilian steakhouses and never had the restaurant not only make such a change, but hope that I would pay the check and walk away? If you choose to eat at this place the food is ok. But I would pay special attention to the check to make sure what happened to me doesn’t happen to you. Is $ 4 a big deal? No its not. But it must have been enough of a big deal that they felt the need to slip it onto the order hoping that I and my friends wouldn’t notice it. Sorry, but I’ll take my business elsewhere and I would suggest you do the same.

This place is really good! For the price you can’t beat it. $ 24.95 for all the meat you can eat. They have a small salad bar to start with, then they bring you side dishes to go along with your meal. Throughout the rest of your meal they walk around with long skewers of various meats and go from table to table serving portions. Every time you look there are different types of meat being offered. Everything they bring out tastes delicious. There are places in NYC that offer these types of meals for three times the cost, for a similar meal close to home, you can’t beat this. I would definitely say to everyone you have to try this restaurant. A couple examples of offerings are: skirt steak, chicken, beef ribs, prime rib, and sausage just to name a few.

I AM A RODIZIOCONNOISSEUR. Top sirloin(which is supposedly their«bread and butter) didn’t taste right. On the first pass, the skirt steak was way overcooked; the second pass the skirt was exceptionally tough. The place was empty on a Saturday night(bad sign).

Had the all meat buffet. All the meats were extremely salty. And the meat was not good quality either. Ended up paying $ 70 for two people for mediocre food. Would not recommend to anyone. Save your money and go somewhere else.

Had dinner there chose to have the Rodizio, the staff is friendly the food was excellent. One poster mentioned it was $ 20 in fact it is $ 25 per person. Free salad bar(small but nice) You can tell this is frequented by locals. We are local but the only people there that were not Brazilian. Well you know what they say if Brazilians eat here it must be authentic and good. The one thing that us a shame is that since it is all you can eat, no leftovers can be taken. A couple in a nearby table asked if they could because they did not want to waste the meat, it was literally 2 small pieces the shame was the restaurant would rather throw it in the garbage then give it.

went there around noon just for takeout. Got a $ 15 plate with assorted meats. Bang for your buck! Some of the pork/chicken was a bit salty, but great cuts.

The front needs work so it welcomes people with more confidence about the place. But I’m the type of person I’m willing to give it a try no matter how the outside looks. Once I walk in I had a smile in my face I expected to be clean and organized and the place was ! My friend and I was driving down to long branch and randomly came across this Brazilian steak house. The flavor on the food was great ! From the rice, to the salad, beans, meat, appetizer which was yuka fries with sausage. The service was great as well. Thank you for your services Brazilian steak house!

Not really sure if the other reviewers on here have ever been to Newark or even fernandes 3 on 35 in Sayreville. If you have, you would see this place leaves much to be desired. The meat in many instances was tough and selection was limited(no cheese steak or pork and cheese?!?). They clearly don’t have a liquor license judging by the limited bar selection and it says«red bull special» on the bill when you order a beer. The rodizio gentleman was openly insulted when you turn down something he brings over. Nice try eatontown/west long branch area. But I’ll stick to fernandes.

This place is amazing! I got the sirloin and salad bar. In hindsight, I would have just gotten the meat parade. It was about the same price. Everything I ate was amazing. The beans had a fire cooked flavor that I’ve never had, but my friend said they tasted like his grandma’s beans. That’s a pretty good compliment. My meal came with 3 cuts of steak. I could only finish one.(this is why I didn’t get the meat parade) After eating, I thought I was going to explode. I felt like I was at an amazing cookout. Whatever they use to cook on just reeks of delicious flavor. The salad bar wasn’t too big, but it was just enough. I love brazilian potato salad. My mouth waters now as I think about it again. If you’re curious, the meat parade is like 20 bucks for all the meat you can eat. It’s so worth it. If you just get the meal like I did, you limit your meat enjoying options. Mmmm… I need to go back.

We passed this place for years and never ate here. Big mistake. Very simple but very good place. For $ 48 we had two coke, salad bar(good selection) and rodeio(all you can eat 8 or 9 different kind of meat) with fries, rice, beans and fried bananas. The food was delicious. Service was very good. Recommendable place.

Great food and super friendly service! Salad bar was neat and fresh and the sides were good. Good choice of meats available(top sirloin, roast beef, brisket, flank steak, short ribs, corned beef, chicken, and sausage). The pricing is a little confusing($ 18.95 for all meats, $ 24.95 for beef only). I don’t understand why anyone would choose the more expensive all beef option when you get the same with the combo.

I had a great time at Rodeio! The staff does a great job of interacting with their guests. The Rodizio is where it is at if you do not know what to order! You get a wide variety of meats brought out to you on long sword-like skewers. Some of the meats included — bacon wrapped filet mignon, top sirloin, roast beef, chicken heart, bacon wrapped chicken breast, skirt steak, and chorizo(I may be missing one or two). Be sure to pace yourself, so that you can enjoy the meat parade in all of its glory. The meat parade includes salad bar, rice, beans, and deep-fried banana — all for about $ 20. I read many reviews online ranting and raving about the grilled pineapple, and apparently they do not serve it anymore. I was told if you choose to bring in your own pineapple they will grill it and put the cinnamon on for flavor as they used to serve it. A great family restaurant for any occasion!

It’s been a loooong time since I had rodizio(Brazilian BBQ, AKA«The Meat Parade»). Lucky for me, some friends that I hadn’t seen in a while came over and had the idea to try something new /different. Brazilian bbq was mentioned, and it was off to the internet to desperately find a place that I wouldn’t feel embarrassed taking a group of people to, especially quite a few who’ve never had the cuisine before. After much deliberation and searching, we settled on Rodeio. From the outside, despite the big text of «Brazilian BBQ», the décor struck me as kind of country-western. Not to be deterred, we went in and all ordered the rodizio, which came with a salad bar. The salad bar was small, but varied enough to not be boring. There were quite a few seafood based salads, a vinaigrette that tasted a lot like salsa criolla(a Peruvian onion and vinegar salad), and a few other veggies. Not bad, but that wasn’t what I came here for, so I kept the salad to a minimum. The meats started coming out shortly after — all flame roasted over a large charcoal grill, a nice touch that added some extra flavor, as opposed to the standard gas grills many places use. The food was all seasoned well and not overly salty, something I was appreciative of, since my previous ventures into the Brazilian food genre have been some of the saltiest food I’ve ever had. The sausages could use a little work, and were probably the lowest part of the meal, while the beef ribs, corned beef, and various steaks were fantastic. Service was friendly, and they obviously took pride in their product. I’ll be going back, and hopefully next time will be just as good. I just need to wait for my arteries to unclog from eating 4 pounds of various meats.
