Our food and service at Papito’s has been excellent each time we’ve eaten there. My husband ordered Camerones Papito’s tonight, and the dish was as beautifully plated as it was delicious. I had the Tacos de Carne Asada, and it’s now my new favorite. And the Papito’s dip – so good!

Awesome food with great service. Laid back atmosphere but the staff gave special attention to us. This was our fifth time to eat here and every time has been just as good or better!!!

This is the best place to eat in West Memphis Arkansas. As a bonus it was like a walk down memory lane. I worked in this building when it was Bonanza steakhouse. The’ Chile rellenos is terrific. For anyone that is up for it.

My husband and I came for date night because we didn’t want to go into Memphis. We were seated quickly and was greeted by a wonderful server. She took our order quickly and brought us a small cheese dip that would usually be the large in other restaurants. While we were waiting for our food, my husband watch the game on the 65 inch television. One of several, I might add. The food arrived quickly and was awesome. My fajitas were so large I had two boxes to take home. Whoever was the previous reviewer was sorely mistaken about this place. I will be back and will recommend it highly to others. Maybe next time I’ll have room for dessert.

Restaurants typically compete on either service, quality, or price. Somehow, Papito’s has managed to avoid competing at all 3. When my wife and her family arrived, we were excited to try this new restaurant. We were greeted by a friendly server when we arrived, and were promptly seated. The restaurant was almost empty, but we still waited several minutes before our drink orders were taken. After a few more minutes, our drinks arrived, and we ordered our food and a large cheese dip. The staff was nothing if not consistent, as we then waited several minutes for our cheese dip. When it arrived, we assumed that there had been a mistake — the $ 4.99 large cheese dip was not enough to fill one of our salsa bowls. We asked the server if this was, in fact, a large, and she affirmed that it was. Sadly, the cheese dip tasted just like any other standard Mexican restaurant’s cheese dip, with the only difference being that there was so little of this particular dip. Our dinner arrived shortly after our cheese dip(finally, speedy service), but part of my wife’s order was missing. We brought it to the attention of the gentleman delivering our order, but he just nodded and walked away. Finally, after 5 minutes, my mother-in-law walked to the other side of the restaurant, found our server, and explained to her that we still did not have all of the food. Shortly thereafter, the server reappeared, carrying a tostada(part of my wife’s meal) in her bare hands. She handed it to my wife, apologized, and walked off. We were still missing an order of tortillas, but at this point, we didn’t say anything because we just wanted to leave. The entrees were passable, but our dinner had already been ruined. There are much better Mexican restaurants a short distance away.
