4D Theater

Pretty amazing addition to Kennywood this year. It was a first kind of experience for me and my family. When we visited we saw «Ice Age: No Time for Nuts.» I am not sure that this will be the only 4D movie they will air, I at least hope they will change it up when it is regular park hours.
What I can deduce is that during the Fright Nights they plan to play «Nightmare on Elm Street,» and during their holiday lights they plan to play «Polar Express.»
The theater itself is on the small side, but that doesn’t stop this place from packing a punch… almost in a literal sense. While watching with your 3D glasses you also get to experience the smell of nature, the feel of the breeze and snow, have bubbles fall on you, even get poked in the back. The film is short, but worth the wait, it’s a nice retreat during a hot and humid trip to the park.
Attached to the theater is a small gift shop to purchase items related to the movie and park.
