This is the best all around nerd store in Pittsburgh, hands down. Century III Mall is such a pain to get to, but it’s well worth the drive. I’ve been to several of the other locations for New Dimension(Cranberry, Pittsburgh Mills) and neither hold a candle to this location. Loads of comics, board games, and collectible toys, both old and new. The prices on the older toys are very reasonable; I always leave with several Transformers. New Dimensions is a must visit every time I’m in Pittsburgh.

Behold the Mecca of the Pop Culture World of Pittsburgh! I cannot possible express in words how awesome this place is! There is so much this store has to offer. Marvel, DC, Star Wars, Transformers, Pop Culture, TV, Movies… everything! Comics, Collectibles, Action Figures, Cards, Clothes… you name it! The store is big, bright, and welcoming. It’s not a quiet, dungeoness, awkward place like most comic book stores tend to follow. As soon as you walk in the door, you are greeted by one of the immensely talented associates who are there to answer any question or assist any need. Time after time, they’ve rooted around and helped me find that one special thing I was hunting. They’ll order things for you, they’ll look even harder than you are looking! And to make it all the better, they are knowledgable. They know the product, they know the universe you are into, and they can hold in-depth conversations with you about it. Any place that I don’t have to spell out something and recieve the cluess«idk» face is a winner in my book! The prices are insanely fair too. They even have killer sales from time to time as well. To wrap this all up, SHOPHERE. If you are collector, geek, fanatic, gamer, etc. this is your place! A+++++++

I actually don’t really know much about comics but what I do understand is good customer service. I’ve been here about a dozen times getting comics or games for my son and was treated like a VIP each time. It doesn’t matter if you are spending $ 5 or $ 100, the staff here are very knowledgable and will bend over backwards to help you. Once again, I don’t know much about comics but the selection is pretty big. They also have a nice selection of games. If your in the area, you should really check them out!

Being a big comics fan that has lapsed in recent months due to money issues, I am embarassed that yesterday was the first time I had visited a comics shop in some time. Century III Mall is dying, and I hope ND Comics doesn’t die with it, because this is a very nice store. It looks even nicer than when I was last here a year ago. It’s clean, well-litt, and there are comics, statues, and toys gorgeously displayed everywhere. The selection of new and old comics was great too. I mean, man I was a kid in the Chocolate Factory. The clerk was really cool as well What this place isn’t is a museum or a porn shop staffed by misfits. Eh, it’s a stereotype, I know. Been dealin’ with it my whole life. Hopefully when Century III finally crumbles(thank Heaven) this satellite of the ND Comics franchise will find another home. South Side could really use a comics store. What a home it would find on Carson. They had a copy of Avengers #1 on display also!!! A holy grail!
