Hamilton House Inn

If you need to stay in West Monroe for an event or fun, this is the place to stay! It was a little hectic when I first arrived due to a bridal party taking photos outside my room, but all was well once things settled down.
The rooms are gorgeous! You can tell each detail was well-​thought-​out. The bed was extremely comfortable! I felt at home right away. The bathroom is beautiful as well! I was in the Renate room and highly recommend it.
I would love to give this place 4.5 stars if possible. It was just a little confusing when I arrived and was not sure where the owner was for a while, but there is a phone number to contact when needed. The owner is a very pleasant person. I could also hear conversations in the room across from me at night, but no one stayed up talking too late. Therefore, I slept very well in the comfy bed.
The breakfast was delicious! An egg dish, bacon, cranberry muffins, and delicious cheese grits filled me up for half a day!
Next time I am in West Monroe, I will stay here again for sure!
*Note: If you have never been to West Monroe before, the water is a light brownish tint. It has been this was for year. This is normal for the whole area. Other hotels will have the same water. They will provide bottle water to drink, but the tap water is fine for bathing and what-​not.

Best place to stay. Best breakfast ever. Tonya will make whatever uou want for breakfast, just ask. A great place to stay for work or play. Great restaurants and antique shops within walking distance. A must stay while in the area.

Wow! Best bed and breakfast experience in my life. Great host and was an experience I will never forget!
