Ben & Jerry’s

Awesome location! This shop is located in a promenade where there’s outdoor seating. You can grab an ice cream and walk around by the water and sit on the benches. There’s other restaurants in the vicinity and there’s also some shopping and a movie theater nearby. The service is great and you won’t wait long. Prime location, for sure.

Delicious ice cream and very friendly staff! Always smiling and being polite… They have an outdoor seating area. Tons of interesting flavors; not just the simple chocolate and vanilla.

Ice cream is good here, but what makes this place even better are the people serving you. Pleasant and extremely nice.

AYO WHASSUP welcome back to Smooth-​stylin’ 101. Tonight’s lecture: «how to save your failing date with ice cream.» This place is where you go if you can’t hustle the money for better dessert for yo lady (or court-​ship lady).
OK here’s the low-​down. You just took your date to some 3-​star-​yelp-​review joint up in bergen, and you didn’t perform so hot in the first half, namsayin? Maybe you talked too much about how you still live in your parent’s basement, and you’re a finance major trying to make it big in Wall street, or stuck at some 30K/​year place, maybe you just were awkward as hell eating your salad… but she know all that. She looking for that special somebody, that guy who not just making bank, but is gonna spend it on HER. It’s fourth quarter, and you need that extra time, cuz you’re feenin… feenin for that bumpity bump… some of that R. Kelly bump n grind… you gotta GET IT IN.
But what do you do? How you gonna put in that hustle before she made up her mind and wants to get dropped off? Listen son, you got one shot, and this is 4^th quarter. This is a two-​step play, guaranteed for you to become the only big fish in her pond ya dig? You take her here, and it’s GAME OVER YOU GONNA WIN THE CHAMPIONSHIP.
«But coach, why? It’s a Ben & Jerry’s. How is this girl gon drop that down low low for a sucka fool like me?»
Son, you ain’t gonna make it big if you think you gonna win that girl with food. You keep doing that, she gonna end up like a whale, and shieeeet don’t wanna be manning harpoons on a chick you ain’t even bagged yet. But maybe you like the cushion for the pushin’, namsayin?
Anyway, here’s what’s gonna happen. Convince her to get dessert with you, unless she flarin her nose a bit, that mean she don’t like you and you don goofed up. BUT, if she still in it to win it, you best recognize it’s time to bring up that A-​game stylin’.
Once you get here, get your ice cream (son if you buy strawberry you’re the biggest sucka of all time in jersey, go for dark and luscious like triple threat gangbang chocolate, then she know it’s about to go down… jk). Place is nice and cozy, got that colorful B&J theme going. Whatever, your theme is her and her only. Staff are some young bloods, so they’re gonna be nice. Feel free to ask for some flavor tastings, but don’t do too many, cuz then yo date is gonna feel a bit turned off. Tip them with your spare change, ‘cuz they poor strugglin’ high schoolers tryna make it alive on these cold streets. For this smooth ride, I recommend the Americone dream cuz GODAMNIT we’re in AMERICA. It’s a bomb-​ass sexy combo doe: vanilla ice cream, waffle cone chips, and fudge for that one-​two punch of mouth-​gasm.
If she asks what she should get, ladies love them strawberries, coffees, or mint chocolate chip (not all three though you best be real dumb to think like that). Be sure to pay for her. Yeah yeah I know you already paid for dinner cuz you a sucka, but you wanna win the game rookie?
Then, take her for a walk along the boardwalk. +10 000 if it’s a sunset, –9999 if it’s raining. Night is good too, cuz the store+plaza/waterfront got night lamps. As you can now see, this is perfect to get a lil’ intimate, get a lil’ close if it’s chilly, nahmeens? Hope you been benching, cuz that big chest is gonna come in handy for her head to rest on.
At this point, y’all should be walking nice and slow along the waterfront, eating your ice cream and talkin’ bout life. Just kidding, if you talk about «life» you a fake-​ass philosopher with that BS. Real talk though, the boardwalk is super fine to just get real with someone and get to know someone, or catch up. The Ben & Jerry’s sets you up for some great ice cream, and a nice walk along the dirty-​dirty Hudson river to walk off the pains of your blue balls. As long as you don’t talk about the weather, and you actually LISTEN and FOLLOW-​UP with her thoughts, you got it in the bag sonnnn. You are now cleared to execute «lion-king-and-you’re-my-new-tigress-pounce.»
ACT LIKE YOU KNOW

Something about a scoop (or 2) of ice cream on a waffle cone just makes everything so much better. I’ve stopped by this place many times while on my bicycle. The folks are friendly if you engage them. It’s a nice location and easy to get to from the Riverwalk.

Who doesn’t love Ben & Jerry’s. All the favorites, cute shop in a gorgeous area. Kids love this place. Brownies & milkshakes are my favorite.

Nice family environment and good ice cream.

This location rocks because it houses numerous options of LOW FAT FROZEN YOGURT. Not only do plenty of B&J’s skimp on having more than two low fat fro-​yo flavors, but the ones they chose to have in stock aren’t the best. Here they have low fat Half-​Baked and Strawberry & Banana fro-​yo: woo hoo!
Furthermore, West New York’s new Ben & Jerry’s location is ideal: this large shop has seating available for adults (and even little chairs for kids), milkshake and smoothie options, pints, ice cream cakes, and B&J gift shop merchandise. Once we hit spring, taking a stroll down the riverwalk with your beau, each with of you with ice cream in hand, equals romance in the air as you overlook the city skyline :)
Why 4 stars instead of 5? Soft serve ice cream is not available until summer, per a sign they have sitting on top of the soft serve machine. What’s up with that? I understand that soft serve ice cream may be a slow product to move in the 30 degree north east weather, but if they want to be a mega B&J, they have to have the complete Scoop Shop Menu.
