They have a huge selection of wines and spirits. I was surprised at how much variety of quality liquors they had, especially for my area. Also, delivery!!! A friend of mine was feeling lazy and had herself two stupid bottles of 40oz dropped off. How insanely awesome is that service? The prices are great, too. Not sure who posted they are pricey but I feel the prices are on the money and maybe a little under priced. Anyway, its worth the money.

DELIVERY:
The deliveries can take well over an hour despite the fact that when an order is placed you are told: «No longer than 30 minutes». Calling back is futile. The delivery people have a «habit» of giving the wrong change which is always in their favor.
Alcohol orders are often in what appears to be «mixed bottles» — meaning that if an order is placed for Jack Daniels, it will arrive in a Jack Daniels bottle but does NOT taste like the real thing. Watered down? Bottles which ALWAYS have pourers come with a twist top. How is that even possible?
I have used this store on & off for a couple of years and have finally learned my lesson: «
Find a New Store»!

Hollywood Liquors is a great place. They deliver and the people who work there are friendly and helpful. There is a nice relaxed neighborhood feeling there and a good selection. I like going there and even the other customers are friendly.

I love this place. They have the best selection, I’m even talking better than Manhattan. If they don’t carry something, they will even order it for you. I trust the owner’s taste too, he makes suggestions for me, and they are always on point. Excellent service, very helpful and friendly staff. I love the fact that they deliver, so there is no need for me to go to the store. Their delivery service is fast. I don’t have one negative thing to say about this place. I think they rate higher than most places around. Yes, there are cheaper liquor stores elsewhere, however, you can’t beat their selection or service anywhere. You can’t go wrong with Hollywood.

This place is super sketchy, and the staff is not helpful at all. However they are open until midnight in jersey city and are cheaper than the place up the block. I’ll take that.
I’d like to add that they do take credit, there was no limit and they allowed us to split the bill. For a random liquor spot I like that.
This place is not organized well one bit. You’re at risk of bumping into something and knocking it over at every step.

Huge place! Great selection! But they are pricey. They have a cigar selection in the back, but the room is hot (AC is off) and have three types of cigars to choose.

Desultory towards English speaking women… They will serve you past hours only if you know them or look Spanish (and I speak fluent Spanish). When I spoke up about the unfairness, the once polite owner cursed and resorted to name calling. Clearly there were people in the store buying alcohol past closing time. Obviously these are not nice people, and I wonder if my lawyer can explain this phenomena to me… It’s called «civil rights» and I thank our current president. However, the «boy only» school still exists, whether it is WASPish white or Dominican. And the workers appear drunk. Makes me want to take a shower after I leave that store…

This is by far the BEST Liquor Store in this area of New Jersey. The staff is very polite and friendly. Prices are very competitive and customer service is just extraordinary! Thumbs up for these guys! Keep up the good work!

Great service with a smile here. Prices are ok, and you can get cheaper elsewhere, But you can’t beat the convenient location, selection, and service.
