Luciano was very professional and arrived at the apartment building early. Luciano gave a very thorough inspection. He was very informative during the inspection by explaining what he was inspecting, why he was inspecting that item and what would be considered «acceptable» condition. We had a very pleasant experience with Luciano doing home inspection for condo purchase. He is punctual and showed up 15 minutes early to save us time on some admin stuff. He was very detailed-​oriented and patient enough in checking everything that could possibly go wrong and explaining all the questions and concerns we had. He also offered helpful tips and solutions for some issues identified during the inspection. The whole process went very smoothly and we received the full report within a few hours. To make it even better, he is a funny cool guy and very good at explaining difficult things (at least to us!) in a simple manner. For first time home buyer buying an old house, Luciano was very thorough and patient in explaining every question we had. I have a very unique experience with Luciano in that not only did he inspect the home I bought but he also did the inspection for the person who almost purchased my old home. Yes Luciano can be thorough in his work BUT he has a very skewed sense of what needs to be done and where. The home we purchased is in a nice suburb of Bergen County and he went through the house and said everything was great for purchase. He missed a few things that could have helped us reduce our purchase price specifically an appliance in the kitchen that didn’t properly work, a leak in the garage and a structural issue with a retaining wall.
When he came through the house we sold, which happened to be in a more humble, urban setting in Hudson County this man put on a show that essentially scared a prospective buyer. He banged on walls, he took a broom to the ceiling to demonstrate fault that weren’t there and he climbed up on to the roof. A show and a show that demonstrates Luciano’s obvious presumptions about what one finds in the suburbs versus the city. Needless to say he cost us money. Almost 50k between the money we couldn’t negotiate on our purchase and the person who he spooked out of buying our old home. Not a very good experience in retrospect and this presumptuous jerk is lucky that my husband talked me out of taking him to court. If purchasing a home in an urban area make sure to bring along a video camera so you can film his rendition of Aha’s take on me as he walks through rooms charging the walls.

Luciano did a great job — Arrived early, walked me through every step of the process and explained what needed work vs. what was up to par. Needless to say, I’ll be using Luciano again in the future when it comes time to purchase my next home.

In the process of purchasing a small co-​op and found Luciano on Unilocal.I was a little skeptical because all his reviews were 5 stars but I found out he’s pretty good at what he does.
He’s very friendly, professional and thorough in his work. Also very easy to ask questions and seemed genuinely happy to go through anything again to make sure you understand and covered all the bases.
The turnaround time on getting the report was pretty quick also.

This guy is amazing!
We just had our home inspection, and this guy was going over every square inch of the house. He never seemed in a rush, he took his time with everything. He gladly crawled in the attic. All our questions were answered and some. I definitely would recommend this guy to everyone. Fast, friendly service, with over 20 years experience! Can’t beat that at all!
