Coming from someone who used to work as an assistant manager in fashion retail: My first time shopping here: I bought two pairs of women’s khaki joggers for work and a pair of men’s sweatpants joggers. Being my first time in the store, I asked cashier Ashleigh what the return policy was on the items, who said 14 days full refund or store credit after that. I asked a couple follow up questions regarding the return policy and was on my way. A week later, the first time I put on the jogger pants and wore them to work, I realized they were defective(as well as just really cheaply mad) as the button came off the pocket and the drawstrings came loose. Also, I didn’t like the sweatpants joggers. I returned to the store to exchange the defective pants and get a refund on the sweats. The manager(I’m assuming– he didn’t introduce himself) had an attitude and told me he could not do anything about the defective pants because I wore them once. Then he told me the sweats were final sale and made it seem like he was doing me a huge favor(his words were«as a courtesy I’ll let you exchange them) by allowing me to exchange them. Didn’t even offer a store credit. I told him what Ashleigh said and explained that HISASSOCIATE gave me inaccurate information. He replied by saying«we don’t even need to tell you the return policy because its in writing» making it seem like Ashleigh did me a favor by telling me the return policy. Also, this whole process took about 20 minutes. I will not back a company that does not back its merchandise. And I certainly will not be back due to the associates/managers who are employed at this location.
