This was a cute little ice cream shop. The employees were nice and the service was quick. I had the coconut/cotton candy and it was okay, surely nothing to brag about. It was way too sweet for me. I would definitely give them another shot though.

The ice cream was actually good. I had the Peanut Butter and Jelly Nutter Butter Sandwich. Usually I complain about the ice cream being too sweet but this was very enjoyable. Messy yes, but it was worth it. Service was friendly and wait wasn’t too long. Nice place to stop after a movie or on a date!

Loved to new PBJ. Would have given 5 stars but this store does not accept the groupon online offer on the phone. You need to bring print out with you.

Fairly good selection of ice cream and fro-yo. You can sit in the breezeway between Petco and Panera and enjoy your purchase alfresco in the warmer weather.

Below average ice cream with gimmicky mix-ins. You can do much better.

I’ve been a fan of Cold Stone Creamery, since the first time I visited the NYC Times Square location. I love the ice cream and even the songs. There was a time during college, I worked at the Montclair, NJ location. At Cold Stone, you have the choice of one of their signature creations or you can make your own. You can even add on an extra ingredient, to a signature creation. My favorite signature creations are: Oreo Overload, Chocolate Devotion, & Coffee Lovers Only. There are three sizes: like it, love it, & gotta have it. There is a kid’s size, but it’s so small, a full size adult could finish it, in one spoonful. The ice cream maker/scooper, takes your choice of ice cream and puts it on the cold stone, hence the name, so they can work the ice cream and mix the ingredients in with the metal scoopers. If your ice cream creation has Oreo cookie pieces, brownies, & chocolate chips, all of these will be mixed in with the ice cream and then transferred into a cup. Now, you also have the choice of a regular cup, a waffle bowl, a chocolate dipped waffle bowl, or chocolate dipped waffle bowl w/sprinkles/hazelnuts. Let me tell you. As someone who made the waffle bowls, as delicious as they are, smelling sweet waffle batter for a long period of time, can give you a headache. In addition to delicious ice cream, they have shakes & I’ve seen recently they’ve added reduced sugar smoothies. This establishment gets 3 stars because I’ve been to it many times and some of the few times I’ve frequented, I’ve not had as great service as I’ve had at other Cold Stones. Then there are times when I visit, and the workers are polite and attentive. I guess it depends on what time of day you go. I now prefer going in the early afternoon.

Cold stone ice cream is the same in almost every store. Its the not best for you but it sure does taste good. Last season they did a limited pudding ice cream thing which was absolutely amazing. This season they have an Oreo filling ice cream that is great. Sizes in my opinion are rather large. I’m a pretty big guy and I’m satisfied with a small from them.
