Ok. so, I am no computer expert and like no one ever told me to wash my bras (I still dont believe they get dirty… but thats another story) no one ever told me you could not keep your computer on for 3 solid years without turning it off… BIG mistake that cost me my beloved windows XP… yes. its gone for good and I had been using my moms tower which was faster than my original dell tower which only had a quarter of a gig it was running on. BOOM. it all went to crap and I found a sticker on my moms tower and decided to call to see if my tower could be restored and all my photos and documents saved. YES, it could, the downside I had to upgrade to windows 7. That wasnt too bad considering before calling i hastily threw down 289.00 for a new tower NOT realizing all new towers have windows 10which i found so user UNFRIENDLY the tower was returned to best buy within 24 hours. I spoke to rickard who remembered my mom and then met with david who actually BUILT the tower i amn using and that needed repaired. So glad my mom had those stickers on the tower otherwise I’d be up windows 10 creek without a mouse… you know what I mean. Dave took my tower and withing 52 hours I had it back up and running on windows 7. I was a little concerned when I saw that I had some updates (205 to be exact) that needed uploading and it did take all night and finally it updated… I was a little concerned about that but low and behold you see my typing this review dont you… it all updated and is working great. I paid 259 dollars and was happy to meet dave who also immediately remembered my mom when he walked through my home and saw photos of her on a wall. He was fast efficient and knows his stuff… I sure would have been lost. i can barely figure out regular stuff let alone computer technology. Im not one for change but windows 7 isnt a nightmare and neither was having my tower fully restored and repaired by A Affordable Technology.
IF you need a repair on your comp do indeed call david and he will surely help you as he helped me. I love my computer .have had it since 2003… my phone works ok but its not like having my desktop. Do yourself a favor and call david when your comp messes up like mine did and mine was because of negligence (no knowing i ad to turn it off after using it…)
