A Baby’s Better Choice

First time using them — ordered a crib and high chair — everything came on time, clean, and sturdy.

I used A Baby’s Choice over the winter holidays and as I am setting out to make another reservation to rent car seats for my next trip to Florida I am reminded of my horrendous experience with this company. While making the reservation on the phone I had asked if I could be assured that the car seats were never in a car that was in a car accident. I was told by The Car Seat Lady, a popular car seat expert who knows anything and everything about car seats, installs hundreds each year and is called upon as an expert to speak on talk shows, that this was a very important question. A car seat can often become ineffective if in an accident. I was told by Gary that this was a ridiculous question. When I explained the reason for my question he began to tell me why he knew better than anyone. It was the most arrogant customer service experience I had ever dealt with. When the seats were installed at my parents Florida home and I arrived to Florida, I saw that the car seats were not secured tightly enough. You are not supposed to be able to move the seat and this seat was practically coming off the car seat by about a foot. When I called, again, his arrogance was shocking. There was no apology. He told me that I was informed that the good car seats were rented out and I was aware of this. Excuse me? If you don’t think ALL your car seats are good then you shouldn’t be using them! In any case, he sent someone over to switch the car seat to a ‘good car seat’ and the seat was fine. I will NEVER use this company again. He berated me on the phone because he was insulted that I would ever suggest that he was not ‘the car seat king’ as he self-​proclaimed to be. He is full of himself and I would not trust the advice on car seats that he doles out. He could have 20 years experience and install 1000s of car seats a year. It doesn’t mean anything if he doesn’t know what he is talking about.

Gary took very good care of my needs. I live out of state and after researching my options and all the various company reviews, I decided to give A Baby’s Better Choice a chance. They coordinated with my family where the delivery and installation needed to take place. They set everything up quickly and were professional. Thanks again Gary for all your help and answering my million-​and-​one questions about everything. The prices cannot be beat and quality of service offered by this company are well above standard.
