If I could give zero stars, I would. I have never received such horrible service, or lack thereof, in my entire life. I called this company weeks in advance to reserve Ariel for my daughter’s 5th birthday party. I paid my deposit and received an email confirming my reservation, including the time, date, and location of my party. The remaining balance was paid in full and, the day of the party, the mermaid was nowhere to be found. There were 16 children expecting a mermaid to arrive at 3:00 p.m. By 3:15 I had called multiple times, sent various text messages and emails. The voicemail was full and I was unable to leave a message. Someone must have received my texts because around 3:30 I received a call from someone saying«oh, she isn’t there yet?». She went on to say that my reservation was not in the calendar and she would have to call the owner. After speaking with the owner, I received another call from the same person stating that for some reason my reservation was not on the calendar and the only thing they could do was reschedule. Okay, let’s think about that for a second. I was half way through my daughter’s birthday party and she was offering to reschedule the mermaid. How exactly would that benefit me or my daughter? Our party was not in any position to be «rescheduled». Further, we were only in town from Atlanta for that weekend. Rescheduling a mermaid to meet with us on another day was not an option, nor was it a valid solution. Despite the party being wonderful without the mermaid, my daughter was understandably disappointed that her«birthday surprise» mermaid did not show up. I urge anyone considering to use this company NOT to! Don’t risk your child’s disappointment with a clearly unorganized and unprofessional company.
