ATB Cleaning Service

I hired ATB to clean a vacant house before people were arriving to stay in the house. I told them I was looking for a thorough, move in cleaning of all surfaces, appliances and furniture and was assured that this was their specialty. This was the most unprofessional job I have ever seen. When I sent pictures of the dirt and debris that was left I was told that they had a new girl who was supposed to wipe everything down but no one checked her work and they didn’t realize that she hadn’t done her job. It was a team of two people, one of whom was the owner of the business! If that is the kind of work the owner does, I would hate to see what the employees do. The kitchen hood and the range handle on the stove were sticky and dirty… no one had even wiped them. The chandelier in the dining room had cobwebs all over it and they said «it was too fragile to touch and they didn’t want to break it». The waterbed stand which had no mattress in it was not even touched, we had to vacuum out dirt, bobby pins, and hair and debris before we could put the mattress on it. There was a leaf and other crud left in the strainer in the sink. There were only five pieces of furniture and they all had a sticky residue and drips all over them. If I would have sat on the dining room chairs I would have stained my clothes with the sticky stuff they put on to «clean» them. They didn’t bother wiping it off. Same thing happened with the windows which I had to pay extra to have done. They had streaks all over them as if they were cleaned with something not meant for windows. They did not move even the lightweight furniture and did not vacuum behind or below it even though the owner assured me when they started that all would be moved and thoroughly cleaned under and behind. I have pictures of the filth we wiped off of the surfaces they had supposedly cleaned and they made excuses that they ran out of time, the new girl didn’t know she was supposed to wipe everything, it took longer than expected, etc. I had to have my teenage daughter go over and redo more than 50% of their «work» because our guests were arriving the next day. I requested a partial refund (I paid $ 190 expecting a thorough cleaning, I asked for $ 75 back) They offered to come back but there was no time before my guests arrived. They offered to come back after my guests left and only charge me $ 90 instead of $ 130 (This on top of the $ 190 I already paid!!!) NO THANK YOU! If you want someone to spray air freshener and leave the dirt, this is the company for you. If you need something you can trust as being cleaned, I would look elsewhere I would definitely NOT have this company do the work. I would defiinitely not use them if I was bringing a baby home. They advertise that they have everything disinfected, but you can’t disinfect a surface that has dirt on it. You have to remove the dirt first.. I am still guessing what was actually done during the time they were «cleaning».

This is the 2^nd time I have used ATB and am very satisfied with their service. They are prompt, courteous and do a very thorough job. We talk about what needs the most attention and what fits into my budget and they work around it very well. Patty is a great supervisor and Henry does an amazing job of the heavy lifting. I could not ask for better staff to come into my apt.

Took advantage of a Livingsocial offer and had ATB do an exterior power washing. The office manager Patty was prompt and accommodating to answer my query even though the deal was already expired. Henry was professional and well prepared to do the work, esp. with his ER background. The job ended lasting more than four hours and I am happy with the outcome except some streaks on the first floor windows, which I hosed down myself with some Windex. Would recommend them to anyone.
