The food was wonderful, especially the crispy rock shrimp sliders. The service was impeccable, our water glasses were never empty, the moment a dish was finished there was someone offering to clear it, yet there was no rush at all.

Enjoyed my early afternoon lunch with my wife. Everything on the menu sounded great. My wife enjoyed the grilled avocado vinaigrette very much and the burger I had was superb. Now, the desert we had, Nutella avocado muse, needs a review of its own. I will never forget the rich creamy texture. Mind you, I’m not a big fan of sweets and especially sweet chocolate, but this… this was great. Kudos to the chef. A must have. Can’t wait to go back and have some items in their dinner menu.

The craft drinks were the highlight of Avocado Grill for me. I had some sort of kiwi drink muddled with tons of fresh kiwis. You could taste every ingredient individually. The margaritas were also pretty good, not too sweet. The food was good, however I felt for the price, I was a bit underwhelmed. I enjoy and appreciate the locality of the ingredients they use here, I just continuously find that the bang for your buck on tapas and small plates menus(In general) is not there, and Avocado Grill is really not an exception to this. Ambience is nice, classy yet casual, and service was great, but overall, food and drinks, I hate to say, were just not up to par for me. And let’s face it, that’s really what you’re there for.

My wife and I have passed this restaurant numerous times and I have never really cared to check it out. The wife had mentioned it yesterday, hey lets try Avocados — in West Palm and since I was hungry and we didn’t have much to do on a Sunday… sure lets go. The restaurant name goes very well with their menu as several of the items actually contain avocados(go figure). The have several items to choose from and we asked the server to recommend a few items to us. About 80% of the menu came out in a tapas format which in reality after we ordered our first meal, we had to have a few more. The wife ordered the grilled avocado wedges and I, the tuna avocado spring roll. We took our first bite and — WOW! It was awesome — the amount of tuna in the roll was enormous and so good that I literally ordered another plate along with some fish tacos. The drink that my wife ordered she said was delicious and I had a sip and it did taste pretty good. The server was very attentive and very nice, I will recommend that If you do sit outside — to stay away from the plants as there is a tendency that small little fly looking bugs start flying around and only gets worst as your food comes out. But the server totally understood and moved us to a table that had no issues. My only negative comment was that when I did get home, I came down with an allergic reaction which would now be the 2nd time to eating fish tacos. Now, im not saying that this was there fault — however… What I have started to notice with fish tacos is that there is a tendency to have some sort of cross contamination with shell fish(which is what im allergic to) which I had asked the server if there was an issue with this and he replied, no. However, this was not the issue as this was the only place that I had gone to eat that afternoon and this had occurred prior with a similar plate at another restaurant. But lessoned learned, anything that crosses shellfish — stay away from. Other than this incident, I would have given them 5 starts — but it was still an excellent place to dine in. I will definitely be coming back, especially for BRUNCH — which the menu looks KICKASS!

I love this place! It has a fun and fresh vibe to it. They always have an assortment of oysters to choose from and I love their tuna tartar. We also tried the scallops, skirt steak, burger, squash blossoms, and of course the grilled avocado. All amazing

Great spot with lots of in door and outdoor space on the street of downtown West Palm Beach across from the city park. Loved loved loved the tuna spring rolls. Sushi grade seared tuna with a crispy batter. It’s a small plate so it really is an appetizer so if your hungry get 2. Good staff. Will go back

Why four stars, because everything was excellent, and had the service been a little bit better I would’ve given them a full on five star rating, everything we ordered was perfect, from the drinks to the appetizer to the main meal, to the deserts, they hit everything perfect. The only hitch was when we ordered dessert, our server brought one dessert out immediately, and then the other one after waiting 20 minutes and asking a Nother server to check on our server he finally appeared with our other deserts without apology. To earn five stars everything has to be perfect or as close as possible. The atmosphere was very cool, with quite a nice sound system Bumping away in the backround, I would consider this a hipster type of place, with most everything organic and farm to table.

The food here was great! Our server that night was exceptionally good and made the whole experience better! The menu was very diverse and the meals are recommended to be shared family style! I had a little bit of everything that night, but I think it was worth! I started off with a kiwi mojito and the kiwi pulp was delicious. Then we preceded to have: $ 13 Zucchini blooms(yes, def try if you like goat cheese) $ 7 Oysters $ 6.50 Lamb sliders(sooo good) $ 13Fish tacos $ 6.50Mushroom empanadas $ 12Mushroom fricassee(which were the best Grits I’ve ever had) $ 16Seared duck(it wasn’t bad but I wouldn’t get it again) $ 6 Quinoa cakes I haven’t tried the ginger guacamole but so many people ordered it, I think I will try it next time! The atmosphere was very nice but it was a little cramp! I had fun and probably will go again!

Pros: food and environment are five stars. My salmon and quinoa was packed with flavor. Fun combo’s and variety. Staff was friendly and attentive. Con: the prices are a little too much to make this a regular go to spot. I don’t think the portions matched the prices quite honestly. Might be back, but I could make it at home

The food here was pretty good. Coming from California, you take the price of avocados for granted because they’re EVERYWHERE, including a friend’s backyard. Here, in Florida, you have to most likely import them which raises the price when you serve it at a restaurant or buy it at the market. However, I felt that this restaurant did a pretty good job with their use of avocados. I ordered the jumbo crab and avocado appetizer, followed by the mushroom empanada, the seafood paella, and the fish tacos. I thought it was a little strange that even though I ordered gluten-free corn tortillas for my crispy tacos, they couldn’t just grill the fish. For you celiacs out there, the crispy tacos aren’t really gluten-free since the fish is fried and not grilled, which makes me think that it’s a more«trendy» item on the menu to use«gluten-free» corn tortillas for the fish tacos when the fish itself is not«gluten-free» and I guess if you’re gluten-flexible like me, it’s already a given that corn is gluten-free and doesn’t need to be labeled as so. Anyhoo… I am no saint and ordered the mushroom empanada which was my favorite along with the jumbo crab and avocado which I found to be an interesting mix. I did find the prices on the higher end based on what I ate but I did leave full and not disappointed. I also like the location and the ambiance of this restaurant. Definitely, a good choice for dinner in West Palm Beach.

Food: 5 stars(got the mussels, avocado tuna roll, and lamb sliders) Very very tasty! Atmosphere: 5 stars, really cool laid back spot Service: 2 stars, the place was not busy at all and we waited 15 – 20 minutes before waitress took our drink order and about 15 min in between our food and other drink orders. We will definitely give it another shot as it came highly recommended but that was also their complaint as well. Could easily be a 5 star joint if they can focus more on the customer service

I have yet to make a bad choice here. I have tried something different every time coming here and enjoyed the food each time. I highly recommend the Sweet Potato Encrusted Mahi. The atmosphere is eclectic and warm. The service is top notch and will not leave you waiting. This visit I had the Rock Shrimp and Chorizo Tacos as my main course and it was simple yet delicious.

We finally made it out to Avocado grill with a group of friends, and we loved every minute of it! A group of 6 of us made reservations for 7:30pm and had no problem being seated right away(although they won’t seat you without your whole party there). The boys had beers and the girls each had cocktails. Everything is really different, but totally delicious! Their food is served«tapas» style, although they do have some standard size entrees. Our table ordered about 10 different items, and none of them were bad. My favorite was the octopus, but the hamburger and tuna egg rolls were also delicious! The only item that not everyone loved was the calamari. It’s not the standard«rings» that we usually see, so it wasn’t bad it was just different. Aside from the food and drinks, the service was also great! Our server was fun and entertaining, without being overbearing. We can’t wait to go back!

We LOVED this spot. Everything was fantastic. The interior is adorably decorated — great for a luxurious lunch. We ordered for the table so here are reviews based on my bites:) The guac was pretty good and served with warm chips. I was visiting from Texas, so i was a tough critic on that one! Next time, I’d love to try the Ginger Guac. The hangar steak entrée was fantastic. The seared scallops were a 8⁄10. The zucchini blossoms… I want to eat those every day. Our drinks were all AHmazing. We all tasted each others and I had FOMO from every sip. I can’t find the menu for that to remember their exact names but I personally had the avocado marg and the one that’s a moscow mule twist(which was SO good, slightly herb-y and not as sweet as a typical mule). I don’t think you can go wrong on a drink here. We loved our trip to West Palm and the Avocado Grill was one of the highlights. I’ll be back next time I’m in the area!
I had been wanting to try Avocado Grill for a while and when a girlfriend of mine mentioned to head over there for lunch I was jumping for joy! The restaurant has a hipper vibe then most restaurants on Clematis. It’s got more of an Atlantic Ave feel to me. I loved the architectural salvage décor and faux grass wall. However the tables are extremely close together. I might not be the tiniest little thing but I’m also not overweight and had a hard time getting into the booth. If someone was next to us it would have been uncomfortable for sure. Thankfully it was empty. Since the place is called Avocado Grill we had to try the guacamole. We decided to start with the ginger guac since it was a random pairing. It was so yummy! I love ginger but if you don’t it’s not intense. Just a little hint of sweet and spicy tang and when we ran out of chips our server brought out more which was really nice. I liked that they carry local beer and had a Funky Buddha Blueberry Cobbler on tap. I had one of those and my girlfriend had a specialty gin and strawberry cocktail. She was not the biggest fan of her’s but they do have a pretty good sized cocktail menu. For lunch we split the mussels and fries and the pulled short rib stuffed shells. OMG!!! Whatever the brown sauce is that comes over the shells is like crack! I dipped the fries in it, left over chips and the french bread that came with the mussels. The meat was delicious and the gorgonzola cream went perfectly with it. It’s on the side of the menu for Larger Plates but with only 3 shells and no side I think you would be let down if this was the only thing you ordered. If you are a man with an appetite you have been warned. On to the mussels… Now they were a large plate! The portion was great and the garlic butter sauce was pure liquidy heaven. We loved it and I highly recommend it. The fries seemed like an odd side but they were great to dip into the sauce. Our server was very attentive and we were checked in on constantly. Maybe a little too much in my opinion. There was a point when he asked us twice in a row if we were done with a dish and we had barley touched it. There were only 2 other tables with customers so I know he didn’t need the table. Maybe he was just a little too eager to help but he was very friendly. I’ve talked my husband into going there for brunch since I had such a great experience. Can’t wait to return.

Let me begin by just saying Wow: we were completely happy with every aspect of our AG experience! My husband and I came for a celebratory dinner the other night & I haven’t been able to get AG off the brain! The evening ambiance was perfect, the green lighting around the bar really set a happy yet relaxing mood, our server was so friendly & attentive. We started with an avocado and lump crab appetizer. I decided to squeeze some lemon juice over it & it set it off! So savory & fresh, you’ll want more. I’d love to come for brunch on my next visit!
