Coco Nails

My sister came this past Tuesday and was beyond unsatisfied! She wanted «coffin shaped» nails and when a guy sat her down to do her nails she showed him a picture and asked if he knew how to do nails like that and he said yes. That was a lie, in the beginning she told the guy she does not like narrow nails and to please not file them narrow. She repeated this 4 times he didn’t listen. He starting to file her nails like stiletto nails. And filed away her acrylics to the point where her real nails was showing on both sides! The guy next to him working, stopped him re-​applied acrylic and tried showing him the right way to do it! And the guy agreed and said «oh okay» he didn’t improve kept messing up the rest of her nails! She kept telling him not to file them at the nail bed she kept repeating she didn’t want them narrow at all and asked him if he could stop because she was so pissed off. The owner (old lady) came over and said they look fine! Excuse me she was paying for the service for something she wanted and asked if he could do it and he lied. They then pretended not to understand any english and just stared at us in confusion. Worst service, so we left will definitely never even think about coming again! One star for that poor guy that actually knew what he was doing.

I arrived at 9am sharp because I read reviews that they are super crowded on Saturdays so I wanted to be the first one in!
The employee didn’t show up till 9:15 so there was about 3 people waiting at that time outside for them to open. So because I prefer women to do my nails (they also come out better when a woman does them) I said I would wait. Well they had 1 employee till 9:45 when the next one arrived. I was so mad, That if my feel we’re not soaking in the pedicure chair I would have left.
Kim helped me as soon as she came in and she changed my entire experience! She is amazing and does such good work and designs. I totally forgot how mad I was.
Over all it’s a nice place. The customers are a little rough because of the area but the nail work was great!

Nice nail salon on a spanish populated area. Their prices are reasonable and they have a sorts of nail designs. I mostly come there for their awesome nail designs that not a lot of local nail salons do. I follow them on instagram @coconailswpb. Clean and friendly staff. Love the girls there!
