Honestly the food was delicious but this is a restaurant that you want to pick up and eat at home.

I can’t believe I found another Jamaican restaurant that could compete with Kersmon, but I did. You would never believe from the outer appearance that this place turns out the food that it does. Situated in a run-down strip mall is one of the best Jamaican restaurants in Palm Beach County. A small hole in the wall spot packed with a line that ran out the door. I had the good sense to call ahead my order of large oxtail with rice and beans and steamed cabbage and a small order of ackee and salt fish(They have ackee and salt fish all day). Both portions of food were generous and delicious. The oxtails were fall off the bone tender. The beans and rice served with the oxtails had a delicious hint of coconut in it. I love the taste of coconut in rice. The ackee and salt fish also came with dumplings, yams, and green bananas. Everything was absolutely delicious. Service was also fast and efficient. Check this place out.

Best Jamaican Food so far in West Palm Beach! Would have given them a 5 stars but I am really critical of Jamaican food. The fry chicken is my favorite from here. I would like to see them do real rice and peas in the evenings, not with gungo peas. Other than that they are good.

While visiting West Palm Beach, I was in search of a Jamaican restaurant to satisfy my long awaited taste for oxtail. I found this place on Unilocal and decided to try it based on the reviews.(Actually I was going to try Kersmon first, but they didn’t answer the phone when I tried to call and I didn’t want to take a chance driving there and they be closed.) Anyway, back to Curly’s. My oxtails were the toughest I have ever eaten. Now I arrived at the restaurant at about 12:30 so maybe they weren’t finished cooking, but that’s what should have been said. Also, they were barely trimmed of the fat and would not leave the bone! I didn’t know if I was chewing bubble gum or eating oxtails. Very rubbery. I was also turned off by the man who helped me at the front desk. As handsome as he may have been, he had no tact. My order was called in, not served at a table, so why did he insist that I leave something in the tip jar. Really? I seen his greasy, fingerprinted tip jar on the counter and I didn’t need him to point it out and comment on it for a simple«pick up» order. In all fairness, I must admit that the rice and peas and cabbage was good but that’s about it. I definitely wouldn’t go to this spot twice.

Food was great, fried chicken reminded me of home, I will definitely go back the next time I’m in town. Portions were huge bought a mini plate and I was full.

Excellent lunch — ordered curry chicken. On the-delicious-bone meat in a hearty curry sauce with rice and peas. «Call ahead» to get faster service. Tip — ackee and salt fish(Jamaican national dish) served all day!

I have only eaten here on one occasion but this is my boyfriends favorite Caribbean restaurant and I will definitely be back. We walked in to order and the staff was pretty friendly. I ordered the oxtails and did not have to wait too long before receiving my order. My oxtails were seasoned perfectly and weren’t greasy or oily. The pigeon peas and rice was just ok. I’ve had better which was disappointing because that’s usually my favorite part of any Caribbean meal. I didn’t bother with the veggies(I don’t care for them) but my boyfriend ordered a double helping and ate every bit.

If you are looking for great Jamaican food, look no further! The guys that cook and run this establishment are top notch, true gentlemen and very respectful. That’s just an added bonus as the food(no matter what your selection) is always very good and fresh! If you haven’t already been, you must try Curly’s!

Amazing food. One of the best places that I’ve found in West Palm so far since moving. Already been here three times in 2 weeks. Highly recommended!

Who knew that upon first look that this unassuming place in the middle of a strip mall would be my favorite discovery to date. Got lucky when doing a Unilocal search for nearby restaurants and the excellent reviews were spot on! My family and I shared the curry goat and curry chicken, both were incredibly fresh, authentic and absolutely delicious. They came with mixed rice and beans that I NEED to get the recipe for stand alone that stuff was incredible– then adding the curry on top– pow! Also had some veggies with the plate and a sweet plantain both done perfectly! The staff was extremely welcoming and accommodating of my family of 6, despite this being mostly a take a joint they do have one table and a «bar» table that wraps around the front window. They made sure we had all we needed and didn’t flinch at the big mess our four young kids made(despite our best efforts) they simply had it mopped up in a flash. I also highly recommend the fresh bottled juices in the cooler. Will have to make this a must stop each time we drive through WPB– we are most definitely stopping back here on our way back up!

What can I say ordered ox tail and jerk chicken, dinner size, with a brown stew chicken, small sz for the kids, AMAZING… They were out of beef patties(I ordered before closing) but had frozen ones available to take home and put in the oven, let me tell you AMAZING… I was born and raised in New York and had my fair share of home made Jamaican food, Curly’s gets my vote…

I am from Jamaica and this is the best Jamaican food hands down. I love their fried chicken especially. I have had other Jamaican food and I always say to myself I should have went to Curlys. Curly has A class service and they always on point when I get there.

Awesome authentic Jamaican food! There are many Jamaican restaurants in palm beach county, but Curly’s is hands down THE best! Some restaurants have good entrees, but just ok sides. Curly’s entrees are awesome, the rice is great, the cabbage is good, and the service is great! I had jerk chicken, rice and peas with oxtail gravy and cabbage. Omg! So excited that I’ve finally found a Jamaican restaurant that has really good food!

The fish was fresh and tasty. The man at the counter was very friendly and helpful about what to order! He advised people to call in their orders, but the service was actually pretty fast even though I had not ordered in advance. Will definitely go back if I am in town again.

Stopped into Curly’s because I’m a fan of Carribbean food and I heard this place was really good. I heard right! The stew chicken was amazing. It had a thick sauce that was loaded with flavor. It kind of had a mild coconut flavor that really makes it stand out from other Carribean chicken dishes in the area. Even the cabbage had a really good flavor. Overall I highly recommend Curly’s. If you’re not really into Carribean food… you will be after trying it from here!

After reading the previuos reviews, I couldn’t wait to try Curly’s. VERY glad that I did. I just had some of the best Jerk Chicken w/rice and peas that I have eaten. The steamed cabbage was very unique and very good also! Highly reccomend this place, although it does look a bit sketchy from the outside. PLEASE don’t let that deter your visit!

Wanted to try some place new for lunch, and after reading previous reviews, I decided to give it a shot. Got the jerk chicken for carryout. Fantastic food and very friendly service. Will definitely be going back.

This is my go-to place for Jamaican food that does not disappoint! I absolutely love their jerk chicken meal with the rice and peas and cabbage!(sigh) They have these fresh juices that are about $ 5 a bottle but filled to the rim with flavor! Every year, Curly’s restaurant has this huge block party and invites everyone to come enjoy good food, good music and mingle! Wish it was closer to my house so I could enjoy it more!!! Delicious!
