The hostess seemed clueless, seating us where there didn’t seem to be anyone waiting on that table. Then she attempted to take our order and completely butchered it. From then on we got very little service if any and if we did get service it was bad. I love mellow mushroom but this was absolutely horrible.

$ 10 for large version of a side salad. $ 3 to add half an avocado. TOOEXPENSIVE for what I got in return. NOT A VAULE

So disappointed in this place. We used to frequent here almost every week when it first opened. The last few times we’ve been in it has been terrible. We gave it a break for a few months and decided to give it one more chance tonight, in hopes it would have improved. It’s only gotten worse. I had to ask the bar and another server for things I had already asked our own server for but never actually got. Our appetizer, the bruschetta, which is usually so good, seemed like it had been left in the window for too long. It was incredibly soggy. I usually don’t blame the server for kitchen issues, as I also served for years… But I think the app would have been fine had she been paying more attention. It isn’t busy In here and we’ve barely seen her or she’s completely forgotten things we’ve asked for. Also, The pizza came out without all of the toppings listed on the menu. It was also soggy and just not very good. We gave it a good run but we won’t be returning to this location.

I will never return to this location! Celebrated my boyfriends birthday here a few weeks ago! And the server was so incompetent! Had no clue what she was doing, and couldn’t handle a table of 10! She was rude, slow with the refills, and our food took a long time, we even came on an off night and called ahead of time to make sure they would be able to fit us in. I will continue to go to the one in Delray from now on

Sunday afternoon 2÷28÷28016 @ 12:30pm I’m shown my table and handed a menu. After some thought I choose the small salad with 1 regular plain slice of pizza for $ 9.49. The manager comes over and tells me that we only do my order on weekdays and suggests I order the small personal pizza with salad, which I did with a pineapple juice. The bill came out to $ 28.02. WTF? The pineapple juice was $ 2.49 and it was a small 6 oz. glass with ice filled to the top of the glass. I can go to Publix and buy me a half gallon of pineapple juice for less than $ 2.49. Plus the personal pizza was cold and not hot & crispy the way a pizza should be. This place is way over priced and the food SUCKS !

Okay to start off this restaurant is a 3 Star for food BUT5 star for service! As strange as it sounds, it was the staff that got us into the restaurant in the first place. My husband and I were at City place in West Palm Beach, FL and were interested in going but then met the GM offering samples of burchetta and he made us want to go! :-) Upon being seated within distance of a noisey group table, our first server was more than happy to move us to a quieter area. Our 2nd server at our new table showed the same exceptional enthusiasm. We ordered the«Funky Q Chicken» pizza and«Spiked Sausage» Hoagie. We immediately sent the pizza back as the BBQ sauce was not up our ally. We were expecting a mesquite sauce where in fact it was a sweet BBQ. Not Bad, just not for us. They gladly returned our pizza and remade a cheese one for us and remade my husbands hoagie so it was fresh! The GM, Jacoby came over and took care of us. The food unfortunately is bland. The pizza was OK at best. Not flavorful and doesn’t make you want to run to the restaurant. It needs a dose of spices in the sauce and seasoning on top, also a flavorful mozzarella. The hoagie was fair. very dry. The garlic aioli was fantastic! Overall the experience was wonderful but the food was meh.

Decided to try takeout from this location since I originally posted a review for it by accident(instead of the correct location) and the regional manager reached out to me. Takeout was quoted at 25. Arrived in about 15m and pizza was ready. Vegan with mushroom and broccoli was very delicious. I was lucky enough to find meter parking right outside the door.

I just had the best experience at this Mellow Mushroom. I was heading to the BurgerFi next door and was stopped by a guy standing out front at a podium. He talked to me about my lunch break and I had no clue they serve slices for lunch. I like the pizza but i never have the 20 minutes to wait. Long story short the bartender was great, the food was great and the environment was great. I think ill have to put Mellow Mushroom into my lunch time rotation.

Not a good experience, and I will not be back. Stopped in to kill some time, have some beers, and order some pizza while sitting at the bar. It took a long time for someone to acknowledge my existence, and an additional long time for them to then take my order. The pizza wasn’t bad. The beer was OK but not very cold. It took a long time to settle up my tab too. The bartender was too busy chit-chatting with her coworkers and some weird guy who apparently spends too much time in bars. She was a flake. The bar area smelled horribly of stale beer. The bar surface wasn’t very clean and kind of sticky, as was the menu. The décor is really strange– looks more like the set of Nickelodeon than a restaurant/bar. I think the Chuck-E-Cheese crowd would enjoy the décor more than people that come for pizza and beer. I did not enjoy my experience and it was kind of expensive to boot. Not recommended.

The Mellow Mushroom in CityPlace is a breath of fresh air. Me and my friend decided to check it out for the first time last week and it was great. We started out with some beers I had the Cat 3IPA from Due South and he had the Cigar City Maduro both came quickly and had nice head. As someone who has been in the industry I could tell that their beer system was well maintained. We ordered some Drunken Funguys and a Mega Veggie to have for dinner. While we were waiting we noticed all of the servers were cleaning and straightening even though there was a good amount of tables. I went to wash my hands in the bathroom and it was also very clean no smell either. When our Fun Guys came they were nice and hot and well seasoned. Not too long after out Mega Veggie came out we got a few more beers. The Veggies on our pizza were REALLYFRESH. Tasted like they had just been cut! The crust on the pizza was very well cooked not under done or over done. The crust was a nice golden brown and excellent. We ate most of our pizza and when we got our last round of beers the manager Jacoby came by and checked on us. He was very nice and made sure there was nothing else that we needed. We chatted for a few minutes and he invited to come back again for happy hour on Sundays! Overall I would recommend the CityPlace Mellow Mushroom to all of my friends and hope to be back really soon!

I must say this place has a colorful psychedelic ambiance. It’s fun and the people who work here seem like they enjoy what they do. My waiter Mark was attentive, courteous and knowledgeable about the restaurant and it’s food. The pizza was very delicious. It was rich, hefty and jam-packed with tomato sauce, exactly how I like it! I also had the garlic bread sticks as an appetizer. And as a New Jersyan I KNOWPIZZA! And the Mellow Mushroom hit it on the spot! My bill was $ 32 2 Beers, a medium sized pizza, and garlic bread stocks The price was decent!

Great cool vibe! Came on Saturday night & enjoyed great service & food. Bruschetta was fresh & had nice balsamic drizzle! Had Freshi pie — perfect if you like fresh mozzarella & tomatoes. Manager came by just to thank us for the business! Nice relaxing place to catch a bite & away from the loud area of city place!

Not an excellent first impression but I’ll give it a second try sometime soon, given that someone I know highly recommended this place. Perhaps I walked in at a bad time. We all deserve a second chance.

First time patron. Came with some coworkers @ 6:45… Pizzas(yeah I said pizza and not something complicated like pork fried duck) didn’t get to our table until 8:20! They were good pizzas but when you’ve got to go to work you need to do better. Oh yeah we were there on an off night. The manager did us a solid by giving us free appetizers. Would come back when not pressed for time.

Although I’ve experienced bad service here, the managers really did everything they could to make it right. It’s not a place for a quick meal in my experience, it’s always kind of slow but the food is very good and seeing as they made every effort to right their wrongs, I’ll give them another chance in the future… because #bestcrustever…I mean, forgiveness. Update-went in tonight and had a GREAT experience. The manager, Matt J, came to our table and apologized for our past experience. The food and service were great and I’ll definitely be back.

I was happy to see there was a vegan menu with options for pizzas and calzones and of course salads and appetizers. I had the mega-veggie vegan pizza and it was great. I’m not a fan of the daiya vegan cheese that they use, but the amount of veggies, sauce and dough masks the taste of daiya. I give it 4 stars because I’m happy to see that a pizza place makes vegan and gluten free options. The service was a little on the slow side, so make sure you aren’t in a rush.

A pleasant surprise, recommended to us by a «trusted local». We had a great«Mellowterranean» pizza with fresh toppings and a really nice crust, thin in the middle, thicker around the edges, with the right amount of crunch.(Gotta love a good crust!) Our server Shannon was excellent. She was incredibly attentive and personable, making sure we were okay throughout our lunch without being overly intrusive — just the right balance, providing great service. One star deducted because of the grumpy greeter who couldn’t be bothered with us, seeming really put off that she had to take us to a table and pretty much tossing the menus onto the table when we got there. Management should do some training here, since it’s often about first impressions, and I could see how people might turn around and leave based on our own first impression.

Well, I ordered a vegan pizza that I had to customize and turns out it was $ 25. Holy smokes. It was good but, damn. Really? That’s like the $ 5 milk shake in Pulp Fiction. It was good but not that good. Definitely not worth the price. I ordered the Thai Dye pizza and had tofu instead of chicken, Daya instead of mozzarella and GF crust instead of regular. Top top it off, the GF crust only comes in one size. Needless to say, I wont be ordering this again. I liked the flavors so I would recommend the Thai Dye to someone who is just ordering a slice. Don’t make my mistake though lol #veganproblems
