Off the Hookah

I’m from out of town and after asking what was something good to do in the area they suggested this place. Thursdays are ladies drink for free from 10-​?? I’m not certain when it ends.
I was skeptical because I’m a firm believer that nothing in this world is free. But I can guarantee you ladies, the dranks are freeeeeee. Tip your bartenders generously and you can enjoy free liquor filled goodness all night.
The DJ that night was awesome, people were dancing. It’s a pretty big place so you’re not cramped. 2 decent sized bars.
There’s a little lady in the bathroom that squirts soap in your hand and turns the water on for you. Has everything from ciggs to tictacs lol I dont know if this is a Florida thing. but i thought that was awesome lol

I spent a few hours here on Friday night. While it’s more of a club, if you get their early enough you can easily snag one of the lounge tables and share a nice hookah. The place opens at 10 and they have a $ 10 all you can drink for well drinks (which I did NOT partake in). The service wasn’t that great, we had to flag down our waitress a few times to get our coals changed. The hookah itself was quite good though. For the price tag ($ 25 a hookah), i’d probably only return if I was with a group of people that wanted to dance.

was there for New Year’s Eve!!! the outside bartender Matt was very awesome! he is the best bartender at off the hookah and we will be coming there more often because of him.

The thing that irks me the most about this place are the doormen. Out of all the doormen in the area for other clubs, the doormen here are the rudest. Just because they’re larger than average, wearing head to toe black, with a junior high education, they think they are the gatekeepers to the pearly gates or something. It’s like when you make someone a hall monitor in elementary school, they get that feeling of entitlement or act like they’re better than you. Things should run more smoothly at the door than it does. It’s not like I’ve never not got in or anything but they’re annoying. Anyways, the place is pretty cool, with a younger crowd, loud music and hookah. I do like getting hookahs here. Sometimes they have ladies night where ladies drink free. I won a bottle once but they made it so difficult to get a table and even have someone acknowledge it. It took forever to get in and get a table. Then find out that it’s going to cost $ 40 for service charge which was never communicated. Whatever. We still had fun that night. Definitely not worth paying a cover charge to get in.

If I could give this less than 1 star I would. This establishment is a joke. I have been coming here for years and recently brought a friend (22) who is absolutely of age to enjoy an evening at one of our (used to be) favorite locations. She isn’t the quintessential blonde bimbo who is welcomed in this bar. The bouncer said his name was John and he FLUNG MY FRIEND’S DRIVERS LICENSE AT HER. The police officer parked out front retrieved it from behind her patrol vehicle. I will never again return to this place for dinner or at night. And rest assured when I say I will (as a social media strategist in Palm Beach county) make sure this place is assured I will make sure this place is associated with the discrimination and sexism that its employees demonstrate.

Went to Off The Hookah during Moonfest on Halloween. I was surprised they were charging a $ 20 cover when it already costs $ 15 to get onto Clamatis during Moonfest. I also didn’t have enough cash after standing in line for 45 mins. They told me I would have to go to an ATM across the street then get in the back of the line. Luckily someone I made friends with in line said he would pay my way. Drinks were overpriced. Inside was loud and dirty. I wouldn’t go there again.

I’m not a huge clubber… with that being said I had a nice time at Off the Hookah.
When we arrived I immediately went to the bar to request a hookah. The bartender was very friendly and helpful. He suggested some popular flavors for the hookah. We ended up with Piña Colada. I can’t actually say that the flavor tasted just like Piña Colada, but it definitely tasted good. I asked the bartender if we could sit at a specific booth, not knowing that it was the VIP section. He then in fact informed me that the area I requested was the VIP section, but he said we could sit there since it was so early. The bartender was nice and attentive.
The music was mostly rap and hip hop and I didn’t hear any newer pop music. The dance floor had people on it but it wasn’t too crowded. It was easy to dance without feeling like people were going to push up on you.
Overall, my visit at Off the Hookah was pleasurable. If I ever feel like clubbing again, I will be back!

Worst place ever. Had to ask the waitress if we can be assisted. After seeing her pass by us and not even acknowledging us, we had to go to a bar and ask if we can place an order to smoke some hookah. Waitress looked like a hoe and I think she was focusing on tables around us that had «men.» I’m from New Jersey and just wanted to smoke some good hookah, which sadly ended up being shit too. Will never recommend anyone to step foot in here.

Loved this place. It had character and was really a fun bar to hang out at. Drinks are pricey but it is West Palm. Loved our bartended, she and everyone else was dressed in Egyptian theme which was fun. I tried the lemon mint hookah, it was great but I wish they let you blow bubbles, not quite as fun when you can’t. We would definitely visit again and we are in the area.

The worst place your can go too in downtown west palm is this place.
Service is horrible! We waited 10 mins for a drink/​hookah list ! Our drinks were served warm ! Server was very nasty. Hookah was just not right felt like it was dirty and not cleaned, the table we sat at on the outdoor patio was dirty and we had to ask them to please wipe it down. And this is all happening on a slow mid week night !

We loved coming here for dinner. The food was amazing! We uses to get ahi tuna but that was taken off the menu. But we also loved the steak kabobs… Those were replaced with steak skewers which come with no sides. They are small and unimpressive. The waitress said they got a new chef, they should have kept the old one. This will be the last time I come here to eat.

Total racist service there… Dress code changes from person to person. I was wearing dress slacks tucked in collard long sleeve shirt and casual boots and I was told I wasn’t allowed. However the guy with flip flops and a t shirt was allowed in. Later came in without those shoes and they said they were about to close (but still allowing other people in) WOULDNT GO IF IT WAS FREE GOLD GIVEN OUT

Def the place to go to if you want to go dancing! Thursday-​Saturday nights are best to go. We came here twice while we were staying in the west palm beach area. The first night was a Thursday night and not much of a crowd but the music was still good and lots of room to dance! Apparently we were known for the couple that couldn’t stop dancing because the second night we came back the bouncer remembered my bf as the guy who couldn’t stop dancing lol. The second night we went was a larger crowd and again we danced the night away.
Perk: lots of room to dance! They have a indoor dance floor and outdoor dance floor. With separate DJs. Outside it more house/​techno music and inside is club/​hippo/​top40 music.
This place would def be very popular if it was in nyc!
Really happy to have found this place while we were on vacation because it’s the only place that was like a decent nightlife kinda thing.
Dress code: some girls are in dresses and heels and some girls are in sneakers and jeans. Saw a lot of girls dancing barefoot lol guys were in nice pants and shirt mostly.

Staff was extremely helpful and took great care of us. Thursday night is girls night and you drink for free. Awesome experience overall. Clematis street is a wonderful place with a great atmosphere.

I was excited to have my birthday at off the hookah after speaking to the manager Cassandra and planning vip and bottle service several weeks before my party. Once we got there everyone seemed like they were on edge and short. I was asked if I wanted to buy another bottle as soon as I finished the last one… At the moment I did not want too but without hesitation I was kicked out of vip… I spent almost $ 400 for the first bottle and being charged for someone else’s hookah when I had asked them no one changes anything to my card but me… we were only in vip for an hour after planning this party for myself for several weeks. I was told we could sit there as long as we like specially for planning this for weeks and booking ahead of time. I will never in my life step foot in this place or pawn shop since the owner owns both clubs!!! I never in my life felt so embarrassed and upset!

The place is very nice. Sadly that’s the only good thing, the service was horrible the waitress wouldn’t even smile when we said thank you let alone talk to us.
The hookah was one of the worse if not the worst hookah I’ve ever smoked out of.
The wings were very good, just the right amount of spicy and they looked gourmet.
Unfortunately that was the only good part of the visit since the waitress decided to come and basically kick us out telling us if we were ready to leave even though we were still smoking out of the hookah.
The highlight of this visit was when we finally left and even then the unprofessional behavior of the employees showed, they couldn’t even have the decency to look at us when we walked away and thanked them. I recommend this if you’re into paying a lot of money to be treated like some pile of trash.

It’s 2:56 a guy took my Heineken looked at me 3 times and put it in the trash!!! Really!?! Honestly I wouldn’t care but I paid $ 10.00 for it. :(I told my bartender and she was clueless. You know what? I’ll drive to Fort Lauderdale from my home in Palm Beach Island just to get my bartenders at CYN (old off the Hookah). These people… I’ve been tipping good all night long and spent around $ 300.00 and they still have an tude over a a beer?! Really? Naaa I would have got bottles but I was going #solo tonight. Never again… Sorry I wanted so bad to like this place :((. Door girl was awesome tho ;)

Tacky lounge for wannabe VIPs, who think a velvet rope makes it high class.
On the one hand, the staff is friendly, on the other hand the female staff members are made to dress like strippers, and the clientele is made up of low class wannabe players and underage kids.
Basically watch Jenna Marbles «How to trick people into thinking you’re rich», and pay particular attention to the part about «popping bottles» to get an idea of who hangs out here.

This place is the worst lounge I have ever been to. Got in at about 1am on New Years Eve, the floor was covered with garbage and the entire place smelled. I have almost slipped on the wet floor, it was overcrowded and the music was bad. After paying $ 20 cover change and being inside for less than 5 mins, my sister-​in-​law was pushed by some random guy. The security instead of removing the guy asked us to leave and when we followed to the exit my husband got attacked by 5 security guards for no apparent reason. I was pushed by 2 of them on the way out as well. We never got the apologies or the cover money back. The manager was rude and did not even try to resolve this misunderstanding. This place truly sucks! I would never go back again!

Awesome people work here. The manager took care of us VIP booth and comp 1^st bottle. A must party place.
