Everything at the West Palm Beach RH has is beautiful and well made but the customer service is deplorable. When I called to check on an item that still hadn’t been delivered, even though I bought it 3 weeks ago, Guillermo said he’d check on it and get back to me. He didn’t, granted it was Black Friday and I’m sure he was busy, so I totally understood. I called today to follow up. Alejandra answered the phone and looked into it and said it will be delivered Monday or Tuesday. When I asked why it took 3 weeks she said«does it matter? I already helped you, didn’t I?» I asked if they would be able to give me a discount on the $ 200 delivery fee I paid, especially because I had hoped to have it by thanksgiving. She said, «Sure, I’ll be happy to refund you the delivery fee, and you can pick it up yourself» I was floored!!! I spent over $ 10k in that store and she has the nerve to be that flippant! So I asked to speak to Guillermo the Manager. She said he was busy and«I already took care of scheduling the delivery, right?». I asked to speak to HIS manager and she said, «He doesn’t have one», and believe it or not, HUNG up on me! I called back and spoke to Guillermo who tried to defend her saying she did help me but when he saw how upset I was becoming about the lack of customer service, said he will speak to her. Unbelievable!!! I’d like to end this on a good note and say how pleasant Martha Orozco and Amalia Tabor were. They had helped me with my previous purchases in July. I hope someone from Restoration Hardware reads these reviews, although it doesn’t look like they do since they haven’t replied to previous negative comments.

Such great products, but never any sales help. Granted the two employees I could find were both helping other customers already, but standing at the check out desk for over 15 mins without even an acknowledgment is no way to get my business(this has happened each time I have been in the store, and during a weekday, not even a very busy time of day). If they ever get more salespeople, I’d love to actually purchase some things there!

So, I had to return everything. 2 — CUSTOMERSERVICESYSTEMISANCIENT — Upon returning the items, they do not have bar scanners and must hand write the receipt. Additionally, instead of providing a credit for the total of items, each was credited back to my credit card separately. 3 — QUALITYOFPRODUCTSAREBELOWAVERAGEFORLUXURYPRICES — Purchased a set of bath towels. After 3 washes, one of the hand towels was shredding along the edge. Let’s see how long they can stay around !

I love their furniture. I stayed away because I thought it was über expensive. But if you’re buying furniture for the long term, take a look. I was pleasantly surprised that I could get such gorgeous pieces for just a little more than other furniture stores. The service was amazing. They helped me mix and match and get the right pieces for my spaces. In one case I didn’t take their advice and ended up returning the piece to get their original suggestion. Delivery was ultra professional. Sit and talk to their professional staff. You might be amazed like I was.

I love everything I have ever purchased here. I have referred several people and when they see the products they too want the same and their friends want the same. Once you try these nothing else will do. Some items are not in store and need to be ordered. I would love to buy everything from here. Be sure and feel the soft linens and the towels. They are the best!

Is this store and it’s contents beautiful? Yes. The one star is for service. NOONE talked to our party of four the ENTIRE30+ minutes we were inside. No one looked at us, acknowledged us, nothing. And the hilariously sad thing is, there were about 5 staff members milling around and no one else in the store. The worst(non-existent) service I’ve ever encountered — especially for a place where prices are quite upscale. Feeling welcomed before shelling out a few thousand dollars is always a plus. For all the staff knew, we came with intentions to furnish an entire loft and left with nothing, taking our business elsewhere where we’re greeted with a «Hello, may I help you with anything».

Every morning, on my way to the Medical Office, I would walk by this place, and be amazed at how beautiful the ‘model’ area was decorated. the best was about 5 months ago, with everything wood, taupe and where the books were all covered in linen. THAT is what inspired me to walk in. It smells great and feels relaxing. The lighting and the layout make you feel at home. There is an upstairs too. I fell in love with the huge wooden candle holder. There is one chair that is so amazing that I almost bought it on the spot. until I saw the price tag. then I keeled over and had to walk away. Other than that– this place ROCKS for inspiration to decorate your place in a classic, clean way.

I love Restoration Hardware. Yes, it does tend to be a little pricey, but their taste in décor and accessories is so fantastic that they make it easy to tastefully decorate any room in the house that I don’t mind spending a bit of extra cabbage. Sometimes you do get what you pay for. So why the 2 stars? Service. Walking into this tomb of a shop, which is currently undergoing renovations to the upstairs, you would think that they would greet us when we came in, offer to help find us something etc. Instead we get nothing… well that is not totally true… we get a head turnaround, an eyebrow raised followed by a smirk. It is obvious to me that the guy and gal behind the cash register are engaged in personal conversation, and I am almost felt like I was intruding. It was not until several minutes later, once we are in the store itself, that another employee says hello. Obviously she is the only one working in this place. Kudos to her. Rent can’t be cheap here, and if people don’t feel welcomed into a place they are less inclined to spend money. If these folks, in this economy, want to keep the place open, they had better step up the customer service.
