I wanted to support a small, family-owned business. I had two different experiences. The first time I went into the store, I purchased a new dishwasher. I wanted a specific type and was advised that they did not make them with a Rinse/Hold cycle any longer so I «sprung» for a newer model which was a little more expensive than I wanted to spend; my GE dishwasher had broken and the standing dirty water was starting to smell. Fast install and the installer was terrific(bought a model). A month later, I found several models online that still offered the feature I wanted. Rosner’s would not take the dishwasher back and stated that the models were brand new and they reinstituted the feature. I don’t believe them. However, in December, 2014, I was away on business when my son called to tell me the microwave had died. I was desperate to replace it as we were expecting family for the holidays so I called Rosner’s and told them EXACTLY what I wanted. The price was fair, and they came the next day to remove the old model and install the new one. VERYHAPPY! Now, my fridge is on its last legs. I’m going to go into Rosner’s to see what they have, but I am skeptical after reading other reviews as to whether to purchase a new fridge from them or not.

My age 84 mother had this place recommended, she purchased gas range, d/w, refrigerator, and microwave. She paid for the full installation. What a rip off, the frig and d/w do not work… the installers just took their $$ and run. Lousy service. We will see will this place backs up their 100 years of customer service

I purchased all my appliances from Rosners because I like to support small businesses and was very disappointed with their service and dishonesty. I have never written a bad review before but wanted to warn others. First my fridge was installed with the waterline to the ice maker loose and I had a flood. It wasn’t discovered for a few days because I wasn’t there. They didn’t take responsibility so I used my insurance to cover damages. Then my 17 month old fridge had problems and I called them. Again there was dishonesty and poor service. First I was given the wrong phone number to call for service, then they told me I only have a limited warrant and should call someone else, which was not a helpful number. When I purchased fridge I was told they would cover the cost of an extended warranty but they never did. I finally called jennair to get advice and that was helpful. We own a small business and service is very important! This was not evident when dealing with Rosner’s.
