The LASIK Vision Institute

This location has a groupon rate of 699 per eye. I was super excited to at least get a assessment done. My prescription of contact lenses is quite strong and I know I need to get lasik in the near future.
I’m glad I did not buy the groupon because they are a bit deceiving. Since my eyesight is bad they said the groupon would not cover the entire payment. The amount they told me was close to $ 5,000. That’s like getting seven eyeballs done if they were charging me the groupon rate. I know my eyes were bad but they really confirmed it however, I was still eligible for getting the procedure done.
I’ve called other eye centers and heard their rates as well and they are around the same price. The groupon deal is a good way to get people interested. If you are interested in going to this business I would recommend getting evaluated by other centers as well because the price is the same. In the end, it’s better to get your surgery done by someone you trust. In the three hours I was in, I never got to meet the doctor. There was huge amounts of wait time in between the different tests. My appointment was for 10 am and I did not leave until close to 1:30 p.m. Go on your day off, since they take forever.~

The best experience! They treated me like i was royalty! You’ll meet the most friendly and caring staff you can possibly think about. Not to mention the A+ service they offer! I highly recommend this place.

They are a hoax! They advertise 299 per eye, I was told by the consultant that my eyes weren’t bad and this would be «a piece of cake» That the actual surgery would only take 10 minutes. Four hours later I was told it would be 2200.00 PER EYE!!! Needless to say I walked out immediately. I then came home and did research. I found out that 50% of the lasik surgeons in our area charge 1000.00 to 1500.00 per eye! What a rip off!

Don’t do it!!! I waited for two hours for a consultation and then had the administrative assistant tell me about the «risks» of LASIK. She assured me that they were in compliance with OSHA and then proceeded to say not to worry about the surgery because all of the client files were maintained in a computer so that no one would get the wrong prescription. Needless to say I walked out in between the doctor coming in and the the assistant explaining the «risks.» Your vision is a precious thing and it’s not worth it to take the risk of a center not caring about their patients. Oh and let’s not forget the increase in price once you get there…
