This is a very good spot to get Jamaican food but for some reason I don’t feel that I have a lot to say about Tony’s. The food is good and the prices are more than reasonable. They also serve non Jamaican dishes such as conch fritters, BBQ ribs, subs, etc. if you’re looking for a bit of variety. The only concerns are the wait time and the décor. Do not, I repeat, DONOT come here if you just want to get in and out. The service is unapologetically slow and they move with no haste whatsoever. Be prepared for a 30 min visit for takeout.

Driving thru the area after a nice Dog Wash at Barkley’s on Northlake. I read the reviews & nearly took out a lamp post as I turned the car towards Tony’s.(Clearly, I was pretty psyched & hungry for some amazing authentic Jamaican food!). I love these types of places! I love supporting local small businesses too. It’s definitely important to me. I pulled in & there were 2 guys at the Counter in line. I was greeted with Different n

I will agree that the food at Tony’s is absolutely amazing. But I have to comment on the complete lack of customer service. & I also have to disagree with those who said that the atmosphere was very clean and inviting. I did not find that to be the case at all. No matter how you order your food whether you stand in the long line or you order prior to coming to pick it up you can plan on being in the restaurant for at least 20 minutes before getting served. It is just how they operate. We have been there on several occasions, at several different times of the day, and continued to experience the same outcome. At one point there was a child who was answering the phone and taking orders, and those orders never materialized when we walked into the restaurant. As a matter of fact the child’s mother made the comment that she didn’t take the order the little boy did. Not sure how you run a business that way. But we keep going back, because the food is just that good.

What an absolute gem. Not exactly in the best of neighborhoods but definitely worth going to. The people who own/work here could not be nicer and everyone eating at Tony’s is just plain happy. Without a doubt the very best Jamaican food around. The servings are absolutely huge and the prices are fantastic. Whenever I am driving by on US1, I will stop at this place, even if I am not hungry. That is how good this place is!

Simply the best authenic jamaican food around. I have coming here since 96 – 97 and never had a bad meal. Plates range from $ 4-$ 7 and will leave you stuffed! Great desserts also, I usually get the red velvet cake.
