This recently reopened restaurant has very good service and very good prime rib, cooked to order. The garlic mashed potatoes and grilled asparagus were excellent! Nice to see local people have such a good start!

Really three and a half, but it’s a locally owned business in my back doors so have it a 4. The quality of food was great(the fingerling potatoes instead of fries are delicious) and the home homemade twist on a pot pie was good too! The wings only come in three sauces, and it’s not cheap. A little more open environment(tough to do since its small, maybe an outdoor deck in the summer) and a little lower prices would get it a solid 4 — 4.5 stars!

The place does have a lot of history, is mildly fascinating and worth one visit. If you are looking for a rustic down to earth bar with affordable prices you may want to go elsewhere. I would have to say that the atmosphere is 4 stars and the wait staff is decent. The food is very average and the prices are quite steep. My partner and I ordered a half chicken, a burger and 2 beers and the total with tip came to $ 48.46, which is not completely out of reason but the portions were noticeably small. It is a nice place to go once in a while but I do not see myself being a regular there.
