Abe and his brother Sam are true professionals. The first floor of my house had to be rebuilt after Hurricane Sandy. I met with them on a Monday and by Wednesday they began the job. They told me it would take about 7 days to complete and due to some tiles not being available it took them 10. The price was fair and you as the consumer get a lot of bang for your buck. They go above and beyond! I would recommend them to anyone.

All my praise for Lifta falls on the shoulders of its owner, Abe.
Indeed there are many general contractors out there and the task of finding one that provides honest and efficient service is daunting and frustrating. Luckily, I found Lifta and I plan to stick with them for all of my home repair/renovation projects.
Lifta completed a large roofing project for me. I was pleased with the results and have since been whipping out all sorts of ad hoc projects for them, including: wood floor installation, painting, sheet-rocking, etc. They’re a one-stop-shop.
Most importantly, what separates this business from the vast pool of other contracting services is the simple fact that you can actually talk to the owner and expect to be heard and respected. Most contractors I’ve had to deal with are brutes (and that’s fine, «to each, his own») but a little diplomacy and some good ol’ affability really makes a difference.

I hired this company to install my central air at home after I was referred by a friend. It was all easier than I thought something like this could be. The price was reasonable, the service was professional, the job was completed on time and at the end the tech didn’t leave a mess for me to clean up after. It was a great experience overall.
