I stopped in during the week for lunch and was pleasantly surprised. I ordered the club sandwich. The bacon on it was crisp without being dry. The bread was lightly toasted and had a bit of crunch to it too. Perfect! Our server was professional and knowledgable about the entire menu and was on top of the drinks. The only thing I could ask for would be to stay open later so you could get dinner too.

I stopped in for the Sunday«Blue Plate Special»…turns out, there is absolutely nothing special about it. The food tasted like the Marie Calender frozen entrees from WalMart… The wait staff appeared to come from the local sheriffs department out on the work release program… And if you don’t mind the rim of your drinking glass being handled by the same hands cleaning the floor and the tables, then this place is for you… but it’s not for me… ever again!

I had the Sunday Brunch here with some family. The salad options were great, and lots of fresh fruit to choose from. ***** The entrée/sides were delicious, but the main course options were a bit mundane. *** The dessert course was amazing. The chocolate bread pudding is incredible. Imagine a chocolate pudding with some added texture. The most amazing chocolate goo I’ve ever had. ***** I’d normally give them ****, but that dessert has to get a ***** rating.

Took a group of four, and LOVED every dish. I wanted to order one of everything… we decided to make another trip soon instead :) We tried the Tuna, a burger, a steak and a fish special among all of us and they were fantastic. I have told all of my friends about it, seems like thsy should advertise more… it is such a great restaurant and I hope it stays in business!

I had one of their signature steak dishes, and it was incredibly delicious. We went on a night when they didn’t have live music(I think they have live music there — if they don’t, they should. The restaurant definitely has the ambience for it), but I enjoyed the atmosphere of the place — the brick wall, the bluesyness. It was an overal enjoyable dining experience.

The place tries to pass off as upper scale, but the food is mediocre at best, and the help will likely screw up your order. Ever since the main cook was«let go» the quality has gone down

The Café Ritz is adjacent to the Ritz Theater & Conference Center. It is a wonderful café-restaurant with sit down dining. They have specials of the day, as well as a full menu. The Hamburgers and Sweet Potato Fries are delicious and highly recommended. They are open daily for lunch and dinner Thursday thru Sunday. Definitely the best place to eat when passing through town.
