Made me extremely sick, got the chicken fried sandwich. Could not sleep and threw up all night all multiple times and thought I was gonna have to go to a hospital. Horrible will not go back

New to the area looking for something unique. This was NOT it. Food was pricey, they were out of many items on the menu, and less than stellar. Menu needs spell check.

Worst rated restaurant that we have ever eaten at! We have tried it for the third and final time! The first two times, the food was poor quality and service somewhat slow. This time our visit was awful! We got there only with the almost all the tables free to sit at. There were like only three other tables that had customers. We placed our two grilled chicken orders with waters as soon as the waitress came by. We have a 1 hour time to get lunch, before we have to get back to work close by. Never got a refill for drinks, never saw a waitress back at our table. Had to go and find the waitress, to find out if our food was being fixed and paid over $ 24.00 for the two dinners Told her we had to leave, please fix to go. She came back and said food was just being ready to put in plates. We told her we had to go, just put in to go boxes. OK, still wailed for 10 more min. at cash register, no one showed up. Took my wife back to work and came back to pickup the to go food. No food there still. Caught a hostess/waitress looking around the corner and asked her where the to go order was at!!! If the food was ready to be put in the plates, why wasn’t the food already there by now. Finally got the boxes to go. The to go order was missing my side item. ALSO with two dinners you would think they would have two sets of plastic silverware. No only one set, so I ate mind with my fingers driving back to work. Eating collards with juice dripping is no fun. With the waitress and management so lost there, I am wondering how safe it is for anyone to eat there. I hope they get checked by the food inspector to see if there are multiple unsafe violations! I wouldn’t have given it a one star rating, but that was the lowest rating I could find. The courtesy there is the pits and it was evident with the hostess if we got our orders are not! My suggestion to West Point and Port Richmond is don’t go there, if you care about yourself and your family!

Was traveling to Urbana for the day and stopped at the Farmer’s. daughter for breakfast. If you are passing towards West Point and see this restaurant… my advise is DONOTSTOP. My CHIPPED beef was watery and served on burnt toast. My traveling companion had the large country breakfast that was served cold. The total restaurant smelled like the mothballs that are used in public restrooms

Very rude/untalented workers… Food was gross and way over priced. Only good thing was the house salad. Place smelled like a cafeteria at a hospital. Never return.

This restaurant has some amazing g dished and the staff are very friendly. Want a good country meal like you had on Sunday after church when you were a kid??? I swear you will head to the kitchen to see if your grandmother is back there moonlighting! !!!

If you’re looking for basic«meat and potatoes» meals, you’ve found the right place. One perk is that they have breakfast all day– who DOESN’T love that, right? However, if you’re looking for food that won’t cause an immediate heart attack or carb overload, I’d recommend getting back in your car. Vegetables are virtually a forgotten food group here. And the most defining point of the experience here: the god awful service. Don’t expect this«family restaurant» to treat you like family. The servers will roll their eyes at, avoid, and downright ignore your table. Let’s not forget to mention that your visit here will take a minimum of an hour, thanks to the extremely slow kitchen. Tl;dr there’s a Hardee’s about a mile away. You’re better off there.

Best country fried steak I’ve ever eaten! You won’t get high marks from me without delicious food and great service and this place has them both. The milk gravy, the biscuits, the potatoes with the breakfast plate — all A+. I will return every time I’m in West Point so this place stays in business! I can’t wait to try the lunch/dinner menu.

Went here for dinner the other night. Friendly staff, decent food. I enjoyed my county fried steak, but regret not having the patience to wait for the fried chicken(it takes 25 minutes), thought all the sides were great: fried dill pickles, crunchy and tart, slaw was creamy with the right sweet and vinegary balance, and the Mac and cheese was really creamy cheese goodness. My wife had the pork chops, which were good, but you’d better like pepper! All in all, nothing mind-blowing, but good food, good portions at the right price… I’ll be back to try the fried chicken if for no other reason!

This was an unplanned visit meaning that I stumbled upon this place while looking at the countryside. I arrived just before noon. I would describe the place as a cozy country atmosphere complete with décor and apple/cinnamon scents abounding. Was greeted very politely and friendly. They use terms like Ma’am, Sir, Ya’ll and sweetie(but not in any way condescending) in other words SOUTHERN hospitality. I absolutely loved it. It was not crowded when I arrived but that quickly changed as the lunch crowd arrived. This is clearly a local secret. The food was fresh, tasty and uncomplicated. Got a great cup of homemade potato soup, a BLT and a cup of hot chocolate. Everything great tasting. This is a hidden country jewel.

Nice saturday between wineries, this place popped up with no reviews so we thought we would see whats up. The one star is for the lady that sat us, our server was just ugh slow and rarely there! The food frozen reheated stuff fyi mac and cheese should not be brown! The McDonalds up the road has two stars try there in lieu of the Farmers Daughter!
