Hate their pharmacy. I called to check on a prescription and I was told it had come in but it wouldn’t be ready until the following day at a certain time — when I went to pick it up, I was told they couldn’t fill it because insurance denied it. Instead of letting me know this ahead of time, and potentially prevent disappointment, they let me show up for nothing. I then proceeded to call the doctor’s office from which it was prescribed, and they told me to ask the pharmacists for an over the counter version. Good idea, but then asked myself — why hadn’t the pharmacists bothered to suggest this when they knew I’d be walking away empty handed? Thanks for nothing, Rite Aid pharmacy!
