We went to the florist to order flowers for my father in law. We had no idea how to proceed with our selection. They were helpful and patient with us. The flowers we choose were delivered and they were done so beautifully. We were so please with the final results. Thank you for your time, your patience and your smiles while we went over all of the suggestions for the perfect flowers for our family member. We will use your services again in the future. Absolutely thrilled with my experience at Jack Davis Florist. I called to order the FTD® Treasured Tribute™ Wreath on a Saturday afternoon to have it urgently delivered that evening. The lady over the phone(sorry I did not catch her name!) was super nice and patient with me as I spelled out what to say on the card in Spanish and even called her back a few hours later to make a change! The wreath was delivered on time and looked absolutely beautiful. Much appreciated during such a delicate moment in my family’s life. Thank you!

I received long stem roses in a vase for Valentines day, they were exquisite. Usually I see long stem in a box, this was lovely in the vase. Cathy Collins

I was looking for a place to send flowers to my friend who lives in Dedham. I live in California. I checked Unilocal and the ONLY florist reivewed on Unilocal in Dedham didn’t inspire confidence. So I went the next town over and found this florist. The reviews were good and the gal who answered the phone was friendly. I called at about 1 local time and they were still able to get a delivery out that same day(a Saturday, to boot!). The only negative is that I was told that ALL order start at $ 60 bucks. It was more than I wanted to spend, but what the hell, you only live once… Flowers received, sick friend cheered, 75 bucks forever gone… It’s all good.

Although I don’t live in West Roxbury anymore I still find myself using Jack Davis Florist more than any other flower shop. I’ve purchased or sent flowers through them for a wide variety of occasions for over 20 years, and every time I’ve sent something the reaction has invariably been«Oh, they’re beautiful! Where did you get them.» It always happens. Jack Davis is located on Center Street in West Roxbury, a short distance from St. Theresa’s Church and across the street from Roxbury Latin’s plaing fields. Customers find a wide enough variety of flowers for any need. As an example, I sent a funeral bouquet featuring locally grown wildflowers in memory of a colleague who had enjoyed gardening and whose garden featured some very unusual varieties. I specifically asked for certain of these flowers in my selection and the people at Jack Davis’ included each one in a beautiful display. The mourners were rather touched by this, for it reminded them of his passion for flowers, and more than one person remarked how the display brought them back to his garden. That’s the kind of service one gets at Jack Davis. Customers can take advantage of any number of delivery and ordering options, and can have displays sent anywhere via FTD. While their holiday arrangements are outstanding, I’m most impressed with their sympathy bouquets. Always appropriate and tastefully created. Customer service is very careful and attentive and the people across the counter are very helpful in both understanding customers’ needs. What’s always impressed me favorably has been the way Jack Davis’ personnel can sense a customer’s level of knowledge about flowers. They always ask the right questions so that customers get exactly the arrangement they need. Jack Davis isn’t necessarily cheap, and parking(on street) can be a bit problematic, but if you live anywhere near West Roxbury, this is the place to go for flowers. Always worth the trip.
