Donna has been doing my hair for close to 15 years now, and I was so excited when she opened her own salon. She’s amazing with curly hair. People ask me all the time where I go to get my hair done because it has never looked better!

Trained under the late, Olive Benson, Donna and Bonnie are Masters of Hair Care. There is no one else I trust more with my hair than these honest and skilled professionals. If you have naturally curly, kinky, or coarse hair, this salon understands your hair’s requirements. (If you have straight hair, you will be served, too). But no one else cares for the fiddle-​headed like these pros who have been cutting it up, washing it up, conditioning it, straightening it, coloring it, and helping to repair and grow it naturally for over two decades.

This is a place I highly recommend to everyone that has a hair issue. They know what they are doing. They are sincere and humble.
My hair was damaged by previous treatments. They took good care of it and gave it the treatment it needs.
U will never regret it.

What a great experience I had today at Epiphany! It began last week when I stoppped in to see if they did twists. I was greated by the manager who was a very friendly, helpful woman. I met the owner Donna who was also very friendly. When I arrived this morning for my appointment I was greated and offerred. a cup of tea before the hair washing and conditioning begain. Nicole washed and conditioned my hair and Latron who was my stylist.
LaTron was fabulous! Especially given my hair was very unruly. She handled it with a smile and patience which left me with a great appreciation for her work. I was so appreciative of the care LaTron took with my hair. I will be back!
The salon was very clean very all the staff were enagaing and work togehter to get clients in and out. I look forward to seeing them all again! I am glad I found you!

I have been going to Donna for over 20 years. She is amazing. Love that she has her own salon now. After so many years of shoulder lenght hair, she and I came to the same conclusion at the same time. It was time to go short. I LOVE my new cut my only regret is that I hadn’t done it sooner.

I went to Epiphany to get my short hair cut trimmed– it had been previously damaged by another salon.
I went to the owner, who said she «loves short hair» and convinced me that I had to go even shorter than I planned to get rid of the damage.
OK.
Well let me say the salon is beautiful and the service is great. HOWEVER, if you want a GREAT short hair cut– this is not the place. They specialize in the set, blow-​out, genre only.
I should have known it was going to be a disaster when ALL the other stylists STARED at me the entire time– because they knew it was going to be a mess.
I had helmet hair. It was HORRENDOUS.
When you get your hair done, you expect your hubbie to say how great you look. My husband said to me «Did you ask to get your hair cut like that?»
You should have seen his face when I said she charged me $ 90.00– I didn’t get a relaxer, or deep conditioner.
If you have long hair or a bob, then this the place to go. Otherwise run.

Come here if you want quick, efficient service. Donna gives one of the best blow dries you will anywhere near here! This is truly a hidden gem.

I was happy with my stylist in the South End but a friend suggested I try this place out when I couldn’t book an appointment with my regular person. It’s out of the way for me, but a bus from Forest Hills drops me off super close to the salon. The Salon manager is very friendly and professional on the phone, I felt comfortable right away. When I arrived for my cut I was greeted by her and a friendly staff — I was really impressed with the service. I have very thin curly hair, which causes a lot of stylist to make 101 annoying suggestions… as if I didn’t realize I had super thin hair or considered vitamins…
I mean, its only my hair and I live in a cave with no mirrors… Anyways…
I should also note that Epiphany is very clean, even the product shelves are dust free! I think this place is a major barging, only $ 35 for my cut. I just hope my South End stylist can forgive me…

I love this salon and I LOVE Bonnie. I’ve been with her for a few years and no one has helped my hair grow like her. I had a hair trauma and she was very aware of how I should care for my hair. The salon is clean and they have free parking. That alone makes it worth it. I find the prices to be reasonable. If you have textured, curly or kinky hair, this is the place to go for hair care. They are not as skilled with styling natural hair, however.
