I absolutely love this place. Best brunch. The eggs Benedict is great but if you want to splurge. Get the mango coconut brioche French toast. I may not have the name exactly right but it was obscenely delicious. I try to go here as often as I can. There is a wait some Sunday’s since it’s pretty small but it’s well worth it.

Visiting Boston for my sister’s graduation so decided to come here for breakfast since we landed at 6am. We stood there for at least 10 minutes before anyone even greeted us and someone finally asked how many. We gave the waitresses the benefit of the doubt since the place was almost full and they looked busy. We told her 5 and she said there might be space in the back, let me take a look.(The place is small, so we can see the whole dining area!) They made us wait another 10 minutes and another waitress goes, «You know it’s open seating right?» I looked at her and told her what the previous waitress said. She said oh. We said forget it and left. I’m not making any assumptions here, but I will say this. The whole restaurant was filled with White patrons. And then you have a group of Asians at the door. Didn’t try the food and will never come back.

Excellent food, the service could be better. Although the servers were very nice, they were too busy on social media to notice people trying to get their attention

I love mom and pop shops and rox diner is exactly that. There’s usually a 15 mins wait but we came right before the rush. Very homey atmosphere and you can really taste that everything is made from scratch. The waitress knew the menu and didn’t studded when I asked what her suggestions are. The service was great, she smiled and refilled our coffees whenever it was needed. Their potatoes were crispy and seasoned very well. My friend got the corn beef hash and it was very good! Thin layer of crispy potatoey meaty goodness, highly recommend. There is one thing that went wrong. I got the strawberry stuffed French toast and it was the most disappointing thing I’ve seen! When I opened up the French toast I literally was able to count 5 slices of strawberry and maybe a nickel size spot of Nutella! My heart literally broke. The reason I gave it a three star is because I really see potential in the diner. I think I was unlucky with the chef that day but my friend told me I ordered the wrong thing. Therefore I will come back and try their banana mascarpone stuffed French toast.

Great place for breakfast. A bit of a small space but worth the wait. Be sure to go inside to put your name on the list ;)

Amazing little spot in west Roxbury for breakfast. The food was great, good portions, good prices. The service was excellent. Kelly was our server and she was super nice and attentive. Its definitely a hidden gem… They even have mimosas… Bomb.

I walked in and it’s a very small restaurant. A little over 10 tables and two waitresses. Not one said hello for at least 10 min. My boyfriend ordered breakfast and he loved it. I ordered a Cobb salad it was good. Personally service was ok.

I used to love this place but I feel like it isn’t as good anymore. Or maybe I have only been there on off days… Anyway, the steak on my Eggs Benedict today had clearly not been seasoned or even salted. It was cooked to the right temperature, but if you don’t salt steak before you cook it there really isn’t much to be done after the fact. I ended up leaving half of it on the plate. And it seems like this has become a thing the past few times I have been there. I am not sure when or if I will return, which is a shame because I used to love it. I really wish that they would have more selection on their specials again. I used to love their biscuits and gravy, but I never see them on the board any more :(

The best of the best. My all time favorite place to eat breakfast. Food: Excellent Irish breakfast, homemade hash, benedicts, fruit/yogurt/granola. Honestly I have been here at least 100 times and have never had anything I did not enjoy. Interior: Very pleasant, comfortable seating, bar area for individual patrons. Service: Excellent. The wait staff are attentive and friendly. Family friendly. Location: right in the center of West Roxbury, there is usually sufficient on street parking. Rarely I park on an adjacent side street. Timing: weekdays are the best time to go, since this place is rightfully very popular on weekends. I would not recommend arriving at 9 am on a Saturday unless you are willing to wait for a bit. Open at 6 am on weekdays and 7am on weekends.

Pretty solid brunch spot in West Roxbury. I came here with my dad a few days ago, and waited about 15 – 20 minutes to be seated, which was fine. We came at a prime brunch time, but the staff are very efficient in seating people as quickly as possible. We started off with refillable coffee. The waitresses are very attentive and it’s like they could sense when our coffees were empty because they came right over and filled up our cup again! It’s the little things, but they are very appreciated especially when it comes to needing your coffee in the morning. I ordered the smoked salmon egg’s benedict(my staple) and my dad ordered a customized Western omelette. On the topic of my staple brunch food, I was already drawn to this place when I saw the menu outside and there was an entire section of different variations of egg’s benedict — «All about the bennys». It was love at first sight, and they did not disappoint. The home fries that came with my meal were excellent too. I’ll definitely be back, since this place is only 5 minutes from my house!

Had the most amazing breakfast. I ordered the Natella French Waffle and it was to die for! Highly recommend! I also ordered a side of poached eggs. In all delicious!

Visited Rox Diner with a few friends. We arrived around 10:15 and probably waited about 25 minutes. Once we were seated, service was quick and the food was affordable. I had eggs benedict. The potatoes were really good. The english muffin was homemade. I would definitely go back to the Rox Diner, but be aware that there’s often a wait and you may be waiting outside because the place is small. It wouldn’t be good for a big group.

I have a feeling this place is 4 – 5 star worthy but for now its a 3. Pros: great menu, homemade, fresh squeezed OJ. Cons: very little seating, long wait. I ordered the big rig. This consisted of pancakes, eggs, sausage, bacon, potatoes and toast. Potatoes were excellent and so was the sausage. I chose the specialty pancakes(banana choc chip mascarpone) which were way too sweet. They gave me sour dough instead of multi grain toast which I do not enjoy. The eggs were very rubbery. I think i would go back and order something different next time. I would also never go back on a weekend. Waited over an hour for a table and another hour to eat. The waitress took our drinks off the bill and apologized for the long wait which I feel was great customer service. Overall a mediocre experience.

Just left breakfast here. Got a seat immediately which was awesome. Got the Rox, which was«two»(I put this is quotations because it felt more like four) eggs, sausage, bacon, home fries, and french toast. Home fries were my favorite part! Perfectly seasoned and soft on the inside and crispy on the outside. The French toast was a little too eggy for my taste and didn’t have enough cinnamon or sugar. Excellent service and awesome prices. Will definitely come again!

I came for a quick breakfast with a friend on a Monday morning and we were able to sit in under ten minutes. It was our first time here so we didn’t know if we should seat ourselves or wait to be served, but we followed the lead of the pair in front of us and sat down at an open table. Service was great and fast. I ordered the Tahitian French toast: three slices of bread, mangos, coconut flakes, and cinnamon sugar. I liked it but was left wishing I had ordered something savory to balance out the sweetness. My friend ordered the blueberry pecan mascarpone pancakes. He said they were really good but not as fluffy as expected. I would definitely come back here to try other things on their menu.

LOVETHISPLACE! I highly recommend getting the Eastern breakfast sandwich, or the«Big Rig». The home fries are literally one of the best I have ever had. The staff is always friendly. If you go in often they will learn your name & your order and always greet you kindly. It’s a tiny diner so it can get very busy. Especially on weekends. Usually there is a line out of the door but that just goes to show how good they are! I have recommended this place to so many people & every time they come back to me and say the place was amazing! Love Rox Diner!

So far great friendly service. Home to a rather older croud but still nice people. Ordered the All Business omelette and substituted the toast/home fries for an extra egg and was not let down. Meal came out pretty fast but with good quality and cooked well. Overall great service and atmosphere with above average diner food when compared to competition

I went to the Rox Diner for a family brunch and it was very good. The venue itself was a bit tight but it worked out fine. The food itself was very good, a plethora of breakfast options, all of wish you could tell were fresh and mixed nicely. I guess the reason this isn’t higher is because it’s good, but I wasn’t blown away. I don’t know if I’ll be back in the immediate future, however, since leaving I’ve been craving it more and more, so I think a second visit is in the near future.

I love love this place. I am here all the time, bringing my family or meeting a friend. The egg bennys are great, any kind you get is awesome. My fave is the corned beef!!! Recently I tried the Tahiti french toast with toasted coconut and mango YUM. the Mimosas are great but be careful lol. Its a small comfortable place so be prepared to wait in line. Of course I would recommend it here, im here often enough. Might go back for breakfast today.
