While it is a small store, there was tons of stuff for the kids to do. The points system is a little confusing at first but after the staff explained the security features we can activate on the cards(i.e. only being able to swipe the card once in 30 seconds or that the same card can’t activate the same game more than once without playing another game first and that I can hold the bulk of points and transfer them to the kids card when they run out) I find it much easier to work with. The biggest problem has nothing really to do with the store or the employees. It is the parents. WATCHYOURKIDS!!! The parents let the kids have free reign over the store and get mad at the staff when they ask the kids to act properly. I saw a staff member get yelled at by a mom after she politely asked the kids to wait their turn. She even threatened the employees job, stating«no one talks to my kids like that. You must not like your job. They are only kids». All she said was the cashier was helping someone and would help them when she was finished. Food is slightly better than expected, especially after reading reviews. I was informed they have redesigned their crust, which is made on site every day. Bottom line, if you can keep an eye on your kids so other kids who aren’t being watched can’t interfere in your fun, I would say go and have a great time.

Chuck E Cheese was a big deal when I was young. It was so much fun and still is. This location is good and the closest in the area. I however would not recommend hosting a child’s birthday anymore. I looked into it for my 6 year old sons birthday and they wanted $ 600.00 for the whole gig… It’s ludicrous!

Absolutely HORRIBLE! I had taken my own kids here years ago and took my niece here for her birthday recently. I should have known when I called twice to make reservations, with no answer, that I was in for trouble. It was FILTHY, though a lot of staff mulling around. Broken rides. What a disaster. And the parents and their children. Don’t even get me started. I will NEVER go back. West St. Paul. WHAT is happening to you?!

I remember fondly being 8 or something and my sister and brother-in-law taking me to Showbiz Pizza. The games, the tickets, the prizes. Fond memories. Flash forward a couple of decades and I am taking my daughter to Chuck E Cheese for her 4th birthday and the only way I can describe it is thus: horror show. I have had significantly better food from vending machines. I’ll leave the review of the food at that. I did appreciate that each game was only one token, and a token was $ 0.25, just like the old days. I did not appreciate that many of the games were broken, or didn’t issue tickets or were in disgusting condition. Or the conduct of the other patrons. Twice I watched(and intervened) as older kids pushed my daughter aside once she had put in her money in order to play her game, while inattentive parents were off who knows where. The staff are beat-down and past caring. It was crowed, dirty and awful. I only give it two stars because despite all of this, my daughter had a nice time. She had fun playing the games and didn’t care about the tickets, and in the end, on my daughter’s birthday, I don’t care so much if I had a good time(thought it would be nice) so long as she did, and she did. (Though even she didn’t like the pizza. And if you can’t make pizza that even a 4 year-old will eat there is a serious problem.)

Ambiance: OK I now have a love hate relationship with Chuck E Cheese. For my sons 3rd birthday we took him to the Saint Paul location. He absolutely had a blast and continued to talk about it for weeks. The bad part was we made the mistake of sitting at the back near the screens and the stage. DONOTSITATTHEBACK. I knew that they had a show they would show on the screen and some music that would play, but this was as loud as some dance clubs I have been to!!! They blare their cheesey music every minute of the evening and are unable to turn it down or turn it off according to the staff. It made is next to impossible to talk or even sing him happy birthday. Food: Is pretty plain and pizza is about what you would expect, not really good but not as bad as some pizza I have had. My sisters had sandwiches and wings which turned out better then the pizza I thought. Stuff For Kids: OK this is the part they get so right. There were a dozens of games to play and all the games were only 1 token. They had games that my 3 year old son thought were fun and games that I enjoy as well. They even have some climbing apparatus for the kids to play on. Conclusion: The total cost for my my wife, 2 sons and I was only $ 39.99 for the evening. This included pizza, drinks, and 50 tokens. I think that is a real deal and if we had gone on a Wed evening instead of Friday evening we probably would have had a better time.
