Although there aren’t many vegetarian options, D’Angelos is consistently quality food. The portions are extremely generous, which while filling, can lead to spills during consumption. The staff is friendly and pleasant to work with. While I would not recommend this restaurant for an eat in meal, D’Angelos operates best for take out. Fast, easy, and absolutely delicious.

Pretty good place to eat. A more expensive and better version of subway. The staff is really friendly and pleasant. However I had the pastrami once and it wasn’t good at all. They changes the menu so I’m hoping it’s better now.

While the sandwiches are a slight step up from Subway, they’re still stingy compared with a real deli. But that’s expected from this kind of place. No, the real problem is that the staff has a real aversion to writing down your order. They try to remember it, and a few others, and that means they get it wrong, again and again. Even with few customers, the service is slow. And at the end, you may wind up with something that isn’t what you ordered. We complained, and we were offered a coupon for a future visit, or waiting to have another hot sandwich made – but after waiting 20 minutes for the wrong one, we didn’t have time to wait that long for another. This IS supposed to be a fast food restaurant, after all. Given the magnitude of the screw-up, we expected more: a refund, or even a free cookie or something on top of the right sandwich or a future replacement.

First time trying D’Angelo. .I am not a fan of subway and appreciate a good sandwich. .especially from a legendary local mom & pop establishment. .This is a chain and is good… The menu is limited, which is a good thing in my case. .The service was excellent. They were able to accommodate my sandwich change without a problem. I also asked if the menu changes and they said yes… I ordered a chicken and Chedder and asked to switch the chicken to steak. .but keep the rest of their suggested toppings. however the sandwich comes with bacon. it had a generous amount but the bacon was old and like beef jerky. also the beef was a little overcooked and no seasoning… but there was bbq sauce, to cover bland meat. I would give D’Angelo another try…

Think Subway, but more upscale. And a lil bit more expensive, like $ 1-$ 3 extra.

Was staying at the Hampton Inn and did want to travel to far. It was around Christmas and Riverdale Rd was packed. I decided to try D’Angelo’s. I remember going there years ago. I went in and ordered a sandwich. I wanted it toasted. The sandwich was one of the best sub’s I have in time. Perfectly toasted and everything just melted in my mouth. The guys could have been a little friendlier. I would definitely return.

The number 9 is better then the steak bomb. The large grinder roll is huge.

Best chicken parm sandwich ever! The rolls just melt in your mouth! Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. Tasted like chicken engulfed in awesome thin crust pizza. Mmm!
